The Little Gym of Leawood is absolutely amazing! The facility is always spotless and well cared for, which makes it such a comfortable and safe space for kids. The staff is fantastic — so patient, fun, and genuinely great with children. The owner’s passion for kids and their development truly shines through — this is clearly her life’s work, and it makes the whole experience feel so special.

We’ve also hosted birthday parties here, and they were incredible! Everything was so well organized, and the kids had the best time. My kids are always devastated when it’s time to leave — that’s how much they love it here!

If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, welcoming, and run by people who truly care about kids, The Little Gym of Leawood is it!

We love Leawood Little Gym!

My kids have the best time during their class. They have met new friends. The teachers are amazing, and it is also a good place to meet other moms during the class.

The facility is so clean! You can tell sanitizing and cleanliness is a priority. We have been to other gymnastics facilities and they don’t feel like they are cleaned very often.

We have been members of of little gym for almost a decade and all of my children have loved their classes and beg me to go daily. More importantly , I have recently realized (by signing up for one of their classes geared for older children) that little gym is a great place for older children to enjoy and learn the benefits of gymnastics not in an intimidating overwhelming gym environment. The owner and teachers are incredibly hands on, supportive, and create an environment where children of all abilities can learn, gain confidence, and have fun. We are so grateful to have this option for children in our community!

As a first time mom, TLG has been a great resource for me in encouraging my almost 7 month old to reach his milestones. Amber and Sarah do a great job of engaging with babies and parents alike in the “Bugs” class. We look forward to growing up with the little gym as we learn to crawl, walk and socialize. We are Little gym SUPER fans!! All four of our boys have loved the little gym for many years!! We have taken classes at both Prairie Village and Leawood locations. We are so impressed by the incredibly attentive and friendly staff! Our boys are comfortable climbing and exploring all the parks around town because of the confidence, body control and coordination they learned and strengthened at The Little Gym!! My youngest son has taken several classes at the Little Gym Leawood and they have both been amazing experiences taught by enthusiastic and loving teachers. Ms. Sarah and Ms. Amber are the best! I’m not exaggerating when I say that his current Sporty Beasts class is the HIGHLIGHT of his week. As a founding member from when this place first opened - this place within a year has gone downhill quickly. Extremely unwelcoming environment and they are not equipped or educated in handling shy children. After leveling up in class, my son quickly became left behind. He wasn't given the time of day other than a quick "hi". The owner is aware of our concerns and did little to address them. Even admitting that they may need our guidance on how to interact with our child, something they had no issue with when we first started. If I knew they weren't educated in building confidence in shy children, I wouldn't have wasted a year paying for a membership. It's insulting to pay for a membership then treated like you don't exist when you attend. After I reached out to the owner regarding inappropriate comments made by staff and it wasn't addressed - it was our last straw. If you're not part of the uppity neighborhood don't bother coming here. They make it very clear after they've love bomb you into paying for a membership, that you aren't welcome. I'm appalled at the mistreatment of our child. Absolutely DO NOT RECCOMEND.

The Little Gym of Leawood is AMAZING! The nicest owner and staff who love your children for exactly who they are! They are great about tailoring classes to fit the needs of the kids. My two older kids love the gymnastic classes that test their abilities. My youngest loves the mommy+me class. You have to try them out!
