I’ve been coming to this studio since it opened about a year ago, and it has become one of my favorite parts of my weekly routine. I usually make it to one or two classes a week—most often the early morning heated classes, which are the perfect way to start the day. On weeks when I can fit one in, the Friday or Sunday evening classes are just as amazing and always help me wind down.

I’ve enjoyed every teacher I’ve practiced with here, and I really appreciate the supportive, welcoming community that’s growing in the studio. The owners, Adrienne and Joey, are two of the best people you’ll meet. It’s always a treat to see them when I walk in.

As someone who’s trying to incorporate more yoga into my marathon training, I’m already feeling the benefits—including better mobility and stronger recovery. I think it's also helping with injury prevention! I’m grateful Adrienne and Joey took the leap to open this studio, which I genuinely look forward to visiting each week.

This studio is one of my absolute favorite places to be. I only practiced yoga sporadically before joining Yoga Moderne almost a year ago, but now I’m hooked because it has done wonders for my mental health, emotional well-being, and self-esteem. I’ve taken classes with almost every instructor and they’re all wonderful- they make yoga accessible and fun with the right amount of challenge. And they’re all just genuinely good humans! They’ve built a real community here, and it’s not uncommon for students and teachers to sit around sipping tea and gabbing together after a class or monthly sound bath (don’t even get me started on the sound baths- they’re incredible!). My 7-year-old daughter loves this place as much as I do, and she often takes a kids class while I practice in a separate studio. Drop in and check it out- you won’t regret it.

Cozy, complete, community focused studio! While I have not practiced super regularly at Yoga Moderne, each and every class or workshop I have taken there has been truly memorable. Not only is the space so lovely and teachers so kind and knowledgeable, but the community based focus is a true treat. They recognize the need for consistent community and do wonders to foster that in their studio space. From their adorable little nook for cozy sitting and snacks to the variety in workshops and events to the dedication to their instructors & students alike, Yoga Moderne is a peaceful gift for the yogis in KC. I'm so thankful every time I walk through their doors & look forward to many more visits and connections with them in my future!

Yoga Moderne is a gem! What makes this studio truly special is the genuinely welcoming and inclusive community. They offer a fantastic variety of classes and excellent teachers, ensuring a great fit for any schedule or style. Yoga Moderne is such a beautiful place to practice yoga. The studio is so calming and beautifully set up, and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. I recently started going to this yoga studio and I couldn’t be happier! The owners, a kind husband-and-wife team, create such a warm and welcoming environment it truly feels like a family-run business with a lot of heart. The studio is beautiful, spotless, and has such a peaceful atmosphere.
The classes are wonderful relaxing, uplifting, and thoughtfully taught. I also love that they offer fun yoga classes for kids! On top of that, they provide a cozy room where children can sit, play, or do homework while parents enjoy their own practice and so much more! It’s such a thoughtful touch that makes it easy for families to participate.
Every time I leave, I feel refreshed, balanced, and grateful to have found this place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive and family-friendly yoga community!

Yoga Moderne has been the perfect place for me to practice. I love that there’s such a great variety of classes — I can always find exactly what I need, and often discover something I didn’t even know I needed. I’ve been going to Yoga Moderne once or twice a week for the past six months, and it’s truly been one of the best parts of my routine. As someone who was brand new to yoga, I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. The instructors do an amazing job of making yoga approachable—they use both Sanskrit and English terms, always offer modifications, and consistently remind you that you are the expert of your own body.

Such a great studio! Becki’s form lab classes are amazing for beginners. She teaches you how to do each posture correctly, adjusts you as you go, and answers all your questions throughout class. I’ll never feel intimidated in a class again now that I know what I’m doing! Highly recommend.

Owners, Adrienne and Joey, thoughtfully curated a space where every person, every body type and every level of yogi can decompress from the outside world. I haven’t practiced in years and I can’t stay away, signing up for classes almost daily since they opened their doors; I just want to be in those walls.

I’ve tried almost all of the teachers and they are wonderful. Anyone can find the right fit for what they need. My kids (8 & 6) get upset when I go without them - having “Kids!” as an option is priceless as a mom.
