Wow! We had a great experience with Aqua-tots this summer. Grands were visiting for 3 weeks this summer. The stuff there are very nice but the skilled information should be better combined if we face to different coaches while swimming lessons! My poor middle boy was stuck on level 6 for over 8 months because I couldn’t make it to the same coach, I have to do the make up lessons and every coach determine the skill somehow of different! And some of coaches will think him should be ready for next level but when him face the new coach next time and everything will start over again . He was so upset, came in with hope came out with disappointed.he doing the every same things for over months and months and still have the same one issue since first day.No one is perfect and now he thinks he is not good at doing things!Every 30 minutes should be worth and the coach should be know more about the learner. We waste the time because every lessons we are new to the coach.I am made the big mistake of bought the long term lessons at once and always make him to different coaches and drive long distances . Finally we decided to end of this race ,I told my boy he was doing very well not only learn the life skills but also learn how to stand confident . I just want to write with my experience here, if you ready with same coach for a long way then sign it, but if you couldn’t just be aware. Coaches need to time to know about you but our time cost also important

We have really enjoyed the progress our daughter has made over the last year. We started at 4 months with Coach Kenzie, and she was so knowledgeable and welcoming. All three of my sons (ages 5, 4 and 2) have been swimming here for about 5 months now, and we absolutely love it! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming each time we are there. Every swim instructor we’ve had has been wonderful (especially Lyndi, Rylee, Josiah, Becca, Elli & Jess) and the boys have each made so much progress already! When we first started lessons, it was very comforting to watch how patient and reassuring the instructors were while the boys were getting comfortable with the water. It only took a couple of lessons to wash away any fears my boys had about swim lessons! I like that I’m able to see their progression and new accomplishments after each lesson on the app, and it makes scheduling/rescheduling classes really easy. I definitely do not recommend signing a contract with them. The second instructor scared my daughter. She now refuses to go back and they will not refund my money. They also will charge me for next month even though she was there for 10 minutes of her second class. I knew better and did it anyways. Shame on me.
Update:
The proper way to provide customer service is to provide solutions not to lecture me on how you think I should make decisions with my child. The proper way to handle this would have been to offer me to try this again in 6 months and to offer my money back. I bet I would have gone for that. 80% refund is your only course of action at this point. I will update this if you honor that.
If I was a betting man, I'm guessing you will keep my money and will charge my card next month.

Update: It has been 6 days and no one has called me. They also charged me full price for the next month even though the manager I spoke with 7 days ago told me I would only be charged for 2 classes since I only used 1 class out of 6. Imagine that! We just want to have the same coach every time but almost every time we go there they have assigned a new coach to our son and daughter and the new coach has no idea in what area they need to focus on. We have gone to swim lessons through Parks & Rec and the YMCA, and this is definitely superior to those options in many ways. Aqua-Tots really focuses on each tiny skill needed to build strong and effective swimmers. At first, they focus on water acclimation and safety, but for the older children they really teach the fundamentals of swimming, and their strokes look great!
I love their communication and the availability of class times. I love how easy it is to reschedule classes and get make-ups on the app. I love the changing rooms and the seats in the waiting room and how much staff they have and the lollipops at the end of every lesson. I love that I can follow my child’s progress on the app, and they give a little lesson progress summary to each parent after every session. They really pay attention to detail, and the price reflects that.
If you just want your kid to not drown and be pretty sufficient in the water, you can definitely go to other places that are cheaper. We signed up for Aqua-Tots because they had a 40% off deal, and it’s amazing, but I wouldn’t pay full-price for this, even though it’s really well-executed.

Perfect for toddlers! My son is 3 and it’s perfect for him! The first day he cried! The deck supervisor came and took him separately until he calmed down then joined him with the rest of the class. We were debating here or the YMCA, but chose here and we are so glad we did! There’s a changing area with blow dryers and styling tools in addition to a little snack area (packaged food only and drinks). I can watch my son and he loves it! We are on our 3 or 4th lesson and he stopped crying! Initially he would cry until he got into the water, but they kept working with him until he felt comfortable! There are 4 students per instructor. At first I thought that was pushing it, but the deck supervisors come and help out if children are crying or not cooperating, so there’s plenty of attention and instruction! I have to give a special thank you to Josie and Alyssa at this location. Josie approached me when my child went back screaming and crying the first time. She let me know it was normal, they have an entire methodology around it and and not to feel bad! It made me feel much better as my son was the only one that was throwing a fit! Her going out of her way to do so is so much appreciated! Also Alyssa was the supervisor the first day we attended, which was his worse and she was excellent at calming him down solo, yet in enough time he could still do group activities. Our weekly instructors Rylee and Katie are awesome as well! So good with the kids and really patient! My some is learning a lot and remember what they teach him! I can’t recommend this place enough! Honestly! We are so happy we chose it!! They are excellent with babies and toddlers from my experience and what I see with the other classes! Cost is about $25 per class.

The staff are VERY polite and friendly. The instructor get to know each child and I love the fact they don’t stick a particular instructor to a child so they don’t get attached. I remember when my son moved up a class (2 minnows to 3 Leap frog), it was a serious problem getting him to go in the pool without me Due to his attachment with me. I remember I called to cancel our registration and gave the reason why. Few days later, the manager called me and asked why we cancelled, I explained to her and she told us to come for the next session that she had something in mind. She said it’s a situation they see all the time. At first I thought it was about not losing money for them but that wasn’t the case. Lo and behold, we went for the session, she personally took my son into the pool area, he cried so much but when she tried what she had planned my son’s eyes lit up, he got so interested and started playing with her and that was it. That was how they were able to make my son attend his sessions without me getting in with me. My son is always to go swimming. They all love my son and always happy to see him. I would recommend Aqua-Tots Swim School over and over again!!!!

Love the methodology of how they teach and how they break down the different components of swimming, beginning with safety techniques! Recent staffing issues and last minute changes in policies have made some of the logistics frustrating but the staffing issues have seemingly resolved themselves and hopefully continue to improve with the new facility being opened. The price is quite significant but typically the product has been worth it. I've witnessed the staff being trained at many different Levels and can attest to the thoroughness of their training. We've been with Aquatots for 4 years now, traveling from Georgetoen and even through COVID would recommend this as a preferred place for my children to learn swimming.

Update 3/7/23 - I still really like this place however I am kindof frustrated by the coach turnover. I feel like my son has a new teacher each week. Without knowing him they don't push him in the areas he needs so he hasn't made any progress in several months.
This is the most amazing place. The staff is super welcoming and always greets us when we arrive. All the coaches are great but we definitely have some favorites - Abby King, Ethan, Riley and Sarah. If you happen to get classes with them you will not be disappointed.

I truly enjoy the atmosphere of this facility, as does my son! Most coaches are very nice, fairly knowledgeable, and seem to enjoy teaching swim to children. Granite, we’ve only done the parent/child classes (Levels 1 and 2) but I can see my son’s progress already. My favorite part is being issued a make-up class when needing to cancel with SOOOO many class times throughout the week to reschedule it because it feels like I’m not wasting my money. I highly recommend getting the app too, because it sends notifications about make-up sessions about to expire. However, it would be nice if make-up sessions didn’t expire in 30 days and if one were to have to cancel a scheduled make-up session that it wouldn’t be just be a “wasted” class, like it is now.

My son looks forward to his swimming classes! We love the staff. Everyone is super friendly. Also my son loves his classes so much that we had to switch him from one day to two days of classes. My daughter who is only 15 month old also enjoys her class thoroughly. Great place to get your littles one’s comfortable with water!

We are very happy with our experience here. The instructors take the time to work with our child at their own pace. The facility is always clean and inviting. Our child has learned how to stay safe if she falls into water, and that was the biggest reason for us to enroll in classes. The staff is friendly and encouraging and we enjoy coming to lessons.

Our child just adores swim coach Kenzie. She inspires him to learn and to continue to improve. He never wants to disappoint her. This dedication and affection for the children just amazes us. The instructors and staff here are not just there for the pay check. They clearly feel ownership in the business and a personal commitment to help each child succeed. They clearly understand the lifelong impact of their efforts, both in terms of safety and a lifetime of great memories in the water. We are so pleased with our experience at Aqua Tots! Stay as far away from this place as possible. Ask around and you will find more negative reviews than positive. The managers that run this place are over their heads and extremely RUDE. They never follow-up on calls. They will give you the run around if you have any issues. It's all about money. They are very expensive and the quality does not match up. They drag the kids in a level forever, do not really teach kids any new skills. They made me literally beg atleast 5 people to graduate my kid after holding in one level for more than a year. It takes forever for kids to learn to swim. Most of the coaches are new and are learning themselves to teach. Some coaches are not even nice with the kids. They cancel classes very often, they say they apply make-up classes and then one day, they go in and remove the make-up classes without even letting the customer know. I have lost a few classes that way. They are all about money. Team leads and aquatic managers are worst to deal with. There are really no adults running this place. Your concern will never be heard. Can’t wait till my membership ends as I prepaid.

My 3 year daughter scared to death even to go near this place after just one lesson when they forced her to go under water against her will. I understand that this their goal to teach kids to be comfort under water and know how to hold the breath, but it was just wrong. She was very excited to start this lessons but after 1st 10 minutes and been dumped under water against her will several times she started crying and asked for some comfort from her mom. But even then she was kept in one of the instructors arms the rest of the lesson and was not let go. She had the worst experiences of her life and had nightmares after just one lesson. Very unprofessional team. And on top of it, after several attempts to try it again and failing bc she was terrified of this place we desided to cancel future appointment for the next month but were told that we had to give them notice about it 30 days in advance and bc we failed to do it we will be charged the full price for the next month. Very disappointed and frustrated with this whole situation.

All personnel from the desk ladies to the instructors are so friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the great tour of the facility I received before I enrolled my granddaughter. The instructors are so encouraging and make the lessons fun. The facility is so inviting (thank you that it's warm!) and well designed. Everything is beautifully organized.

We love this place! We do Tuesday night classes at 6:10 for my 3 year old and 6:15 for my 1 year old (mommy and me class). I love that the classes are back to back after work hours so that both my kids can benefit from the lessons. The staff is extremely friendly and the deck supervisors go above and beyond by watching my 3 year old while she waits for her brother’s class to end. I’ve seen amazing development in the skills of both my kids, and they are generally 10x more confident in and around water. I would highly recommend!

The instructions are great and my kid really enjoys going! The facility is clean and well maintained. Customer service can be hit or miss. They are difficult to get in touch with sometimes. Also the contracts and payment options have a few “gotcha” parts that are buried in the paperwork.

BEWARE! I cannot even begin to explain how upset I am with what is happening at this business which claims to be dedicated to our children. What they are doing to my family and so many other hundreds of families is a true shame and as shady as it gets. Unless you have tons of free time and tons of money to give away or have stolen from you, then this isn’t the place for you. We are currently under a signed contract as we have been for the past 1.5 years. All of a sudden via email last week, they chose to disregard said contact and make a bogus policy change regarding lessons (currently not sure how this could possibly be legal but am investigating) with a few short weeks left in the year while robbing my children of hours of instruction time and hundreds of dollars. Good luck ever getting a class time or getting to talk to anyone that knows what is going on or can give you accurate information. The quality of the swim instructors has definitely plummeted as well and not worth the high price tag. It is not the same place it once was, and I encourage you to disregard older reviews. All I wanted was for my two children to be strong swimmers, but after 1.5 years (going 2 times a week) they stilI can’t swim. The program is geared towards keeping you sucked in and taking your money as long as possible. I am mad at myself for letting this go on as long as it has. I think Aqua-Tots will lose lots of customers with their new sudden policy changes and they deserve it. After continuing to support them and the owners all through the Covid shutdown, this is how we are paid back for our commitment to water safety for our family. I would highly suggest another means for your child to learn how to swim.

After supporting and seeing value in their program for 4+ years, I am extremely disappointed in new policies. Do not enroll here unless you want to sign a contract that they will then choose not to honor. They have taken a ton of money from families and are not living up to their commitment. Ask around, you will hear much dissatisfaction with the lesson quality/progress of children in the program let alone the rates and policies especially more recently. What once was a great community business is no longer. Reviews from prior years should not be trusted.

We love you guys. We first started shortly before the shutdown. My children were able to do about 4 lessons before Covid hit.They were both a little nervous to be going to a new program but your front desk staff are so welcoming and sweet that they were put at ease pretty quickly. There is one employee in particular that my youngest son looks for every time we go. He calls her the "Thermometer lady", I believe her name is Lexi. My son made an instant connection with her. By our second visit she knew my children's names and faces. When we came through the drive thru trick or treat event she greeted them by name then as well even though they were in costume. Staff members like this are the diamond of your business and it is what keeps us coming back!! Your instructors are so wonderful. My oldest child( he was 9 when he started is now 10) has an anxiety disorder and was very fearful and timid of the water. He was one of those kids that would hold on to you for dear life anytime he was in the water. He is now becoming more confident and is no longer scared to be in the water. He quickly moved from level 3 to Level 4. When he originally started he would only do class with one instructor( that instructor has since left) , he developed a positive relationship with coach Emme and she has given him the confidence as well as created a feeling of comfort in the water so he now has no problem being with different coaches as needed. My youngest has always loved the water and he never had any fear. Anytime he was near water he would jump right in whether someone what there or not. He now has the skills so that I don't have to worry about keeping him close if we are near water. I know he can do the basics needed to not be in danger. He is also excelling and is now in level 4 with his brother. IT is so wonderful to see them come home from swim class ( my husband takes them most of the time) and be so excited and proud to share what skill they have worked on. Aqua-tots has been a great experience for me and my child. The employees there are nice and helpful. The instructors are great with kids and really help them when a child isn’t quite catching on to the movements. I love how you can makeup classes. The scheduling is flexible. Covid precautions make my family feel safe to continue lessons. We recently had a snow storm and we’re unable to make it to a makeup lesson, aqua tots was very concerned about our safety and rescheduled a lesson that normally wouldn’t be able to reschedule and I really appreciated that! I’m very grateful for aqua tots and our experiences there have been phenomenal!
