I started going to this gym in January of 2015. Ryan and Samantha Murphy are good Christian folks. They are willing to help you with all your needs. This gym recently went through some positive renovations which provides members with more equipment and space. This gym has a lot of good friendly members which makes it a pleasure to be a part of. Come by and check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Since Ryan remodeled it, it opened up space and he brought it new equipment, it made it much better for moving around and less wait time for equipment. Overall the gym is very well maintained and kept very clean. Super friendly owners and ready to help if you need it. I highly recommend it.

I have lived in the Gonzalez area for about 9 months now and I can honestly say this Anytime Fitness in particular is the best gym in the 70737. The cardio section is vast as well as operational, the gym is clean, and the staff is super nice! As someone whose main hobby is fitness this space offers a ton, from plate loaded hammer strength equipment, to a cable crossover, multiple functional trainers, duplicates of more popular machines to decrease wait times (ie two leg extensions), etc. The pictures do not do this place justice! Also they are currently upgrading a lot of the space, so when that’s done I will update the review with pictures!

This is the best Anytime I’ve been too! I’ve visited other anytime fitness in the area and this one was by far the most welcoming! The owner is amazing and so welcoming! Not only that, but everyone at this gym is super friendly and no gym intimidation. I’ve had a great experience!

This is the cleanest gym Ive ever been to, and the staff is very professional! All of the equipment is perfectly maintained, nothing old or outdated. Even the showers are always spotless. Highly recommend!

Great gym, Great people. I have been a member at this gym for 5 years now. It's always clean, the gym equipment is well maintained, and there is a great community atmosphere. The owner makes a point to know people by name and say hello. There is a great variety of equipment to use for a complete workout. I would recommend this gym!

Absolute worst gym I’ve been to man that works morning is so rude and unwelcoming. I’ll never return… place is disgusting and unhygienic. Someone said to be careful cause they caught staph here🤢. Just drive farther to another place so not worth ur time here.

I recently joined this gym, and I have to say, my experience has been pretty disappointing. The equipment is outdated and often broken, which makes it difficult to get a good workout. The staff seems uninterested in helping members, and I’ve had to wait a long time just to get assistance with my questions. Additionally, the cleanliness of the gym leaves much to be desired. The locker rooms are often dirty, and I’ve noticed that the machines aren’t cleaned regularly. The overall atmosphere feels unwelcoming, and it seems like the gym is more focused on making money than providing a quality experience for its members. I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone looking for a positive fitness environment.

Honestly I would not recommend this place i am mortified I was in the restroom when I saw a rat run across I was so scared to even move. I mean it’s probably because it was so dirty none of the equipment looked clean and I saw mold in the restroom the employees were rude to me after I kindly told them about the rat problem the manager got mad and kicked me out like isn’t it suppose to be the other way around they should of kicked the rat or rats out smh they would get zero starts if that was an option.

Good gym. Its clean. The owner ryan is great. Gym has good clean equipment thats in good shape.

Only complaint is the shower rooms. Only place to sit is the toilets. There is one small bench in mens shower room, but if you sit there you have to leave your bag on the bathroom floor. Which obviously is not a great move. Id like to see some shower mats and somewhere to sit and put your bags. I dont feel like that is a big request considering this place charges 60 a month.

Nice equipment, there is an insane amount of people at this gym to the point you can’t use a machine even at 5:30 in the morning. The owner is a bit entitled also. Maybe he had a bad day upon my interaction. Not a bad gym.

Great place, I live in Baton Rouge and I drive by 3 Anytime Fitness locations to get to this one. That says a lot about the quality of people and service that they provide. Essentially, gyms are the same but it's the small things like knowing your customers on a first name basis and genuinely caring about them, especially in times like this that really matter.

I was in town for business for about a week and my friend, Lonnie, recommended I should train here while in town. It was a bit out of the way compared to where I was staying & working but TOTALLY worth it!
Through work I've traveled the globe and I've never been in a nicer Anytime Fitness anywhere. This is one of the nicest gyms I've been in period. It's obvious that the local owners are passionate about what they do and truly care about the customer's experience.
Ryan was a true gentleman and great host. Very generous and knowledgeable.
This is my go-to gym whenever I'm in town and I've trained at several in the area over the years.

Absolutely the worst I've ever been treated at a health facility.
I am 45 years old, have been a member of a health club sense I was 18 and I have never been treated this badly.

I was relocated for business, so I paid the cancellation fee, this business continued to extract money from my account, did not honer THEIR black & white contract, denied they were doing it and lied straight to my face.
