I live in Waveland Mississippi but work on the Mississippi River so when I’m staying on the westbank for work I come here….. weights are all unorganized and left laying around very messy I’m surprised no one hurt themselves yet

Just go to another gym. These people scam. I had a 3 year contract and when it was over I proceeded to cancel and not deal with them anymore. They sent a bill collector for $200+ I’m not broke so paying it wasn’t an issue I just don’t respect the way they scam for that. Money hungry and not welcoming

It was a pretty decent gym at first not a lot of equipment anyways. But I noticed everytime I finished a work out and wait for my ride in the lobby because I live a little far from the gym they would cut the the air conditioning off I believe it was on purpose because when I look for a manager he would leave right before i finish or come in to work out. I am a paying customer and I should not work hard and spend my money on a gym that treats me like this I am longer apart of anytime fitness and already bought out my contract.

I visited this gym once at night, but my membership never worked. I contacted the gym, and they suggested that someone might have used my tag. However, it’s impossible for someone to use my membership tag since I had never been to the location before my first visit. Despite my efforts, the issue remained unresolved. In contrast, the gym further up Barataria is better and has never caused me any problems.

Honestly horrible for the price. Bi-weekly I am paying $30 so sometimes thats 3 times a month ($90) and on other months ($60). That is extremely expensive for what you get. They have no amenities at all. They used to have a hydromassage bed and tanning and they took it out. For months they didn’t stock the vending machines until people started complaining. They never answer the phone during business hours. Staff is not very friendly. The card scanner sometimes does not work if you have your keycard on your phone. Also if you sign up and you miss the cancellation period you are stuck in a 2 year contract until it ends. When I tried to cancel they said I had to pay the full amount for the 2 years even if I was moving. Mine ends next month and I’m canceling and going to a luxury gym that actually has amenities and machines. The only reason people come here is because it’s convenient.

I like this little gym it's nice but lacks a wide variety of machines. I wanted to do some ab workouts yesterday and I couldn't find any and it really disappointed me. So when it comes to the GYM itself I'd say it needs work but the atmosphere and the people it attracts is nice.

I was in the area and decided to get a quick workout 🏋🏽‍♀️ in. I liked the building’s layout and I was surprised to see that it’s connect to a medical 🏥 establishment. Once I got through the doors, I found the stair master and did some cardio. I didn’t get a chance to stay long but if I’m ever in the area again I’ll be sure to return because I noticed they had a massage room and I wouldn’t mind being able to use it!

Anytime Fitness is a great gym experience. They offer a lot of services. They are inclusive of all regardless of experience level, fitness goals, and style of training.
I moved to Louisiana from New York and Anytime Fitness was one of the first places I become familiarized with once here. The staff have been supportive and welcoming from the start and through the 3 months of my being a member.
Additionally, I recently went on a road trip and accessed Anytime Fitness locations in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. All the locations I frequented met the expectations that were established during my experience using Anytime Fitness in Marrero and the Garden District of New Orleans.
I highly encourage becoming a member of an Anytime Fitness gym for those that are interested in obtaining access to a wholesome approach to fitness and a welcoming environment.

SAVE YOUR MONEY. This location charges WAY MORE than any other anytime in the area. It has half the machines as the anytime 2 minutes down the road but charges significantly more. Massage bed finally in works to get fixed only to find out that’s another fee to use it on top your biweekly charges from the manager if that’s something you’re interested in. STRONG smells of marijuana also is a big problem, it’s connected to the jimmy John’s and they have workers that are always smoking right outside the gym back exit. Since I signed up in 2018 they have not really updated barely any equipment except put new ropes in just recently because the old ones were barely even usable. Where are the equipment fees going? The gym used to have a weight scale a couple months ago available for all members, however it has since disappeared and not returned and the equipment is always all over the place.This is just a few of the things I’ve dealt with going to this gym.

Ok. So. Come to find out you have to use a 30 day subscription at the same gym before you can visit any other club to work out. I travel for work. Wouldn't have lasted but 2 days at most. Nice guy talked to me for a while.

When I did go when somone was there, the guy was completely uninterested in me joining the gym, actually managed to convince me I didn't want to sign up there in a matter of minutes due to his demeanor and stating that I needed to join with a 24 month contract. This location is starting to see a huge lack of maintenance. Machines often need resetting/broken for weeks. Machines are also dirty. For months the "most active members" have been the same on the blackboard which goes to show this place must not be seeing staff very often. One small ceiling fan above the entire cardio section and A/C set higher in the evening/at night so the temperature is a bit uncomfortable if you plan on doing cardio.

dealing with then threw covid they still charged our account for services that could not be used cause of the lock down.
When closed they still charge my account .
Then when I did try to go in and use there gym they were not doing anything to keep the gym protected from covid.
Then a letter was sent to me by atty office

There was a man that answered the toll free number and was extremely rude and was bullying me threw the conversation.
The gym and the collection agency still refuses to give me a copy of the sign contract .They have over charge me and I have proof. DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM !!!!!

This gym is relatively new, so the equipment is very new and I'm great condition. The cardio machines have displays with much more robust programming options than pretty much every other gym I've visited.

They have an expeesso bike and 150lb dumbells. They also have 2 racks for 2 people to squat. There are some machines mostly cable machines. They also have an assortment of bands. Its a smaller location if you have a specific need it may be good to visit every now and then

This is an awesome place to workout! I love it there. However, I was accused of bringing a guest without paying or signing in when indeed that was not true! An actual payment was taken out of my account twice for a mistake on their part. When I asked about it, I received a text message saying that protocol was not followed, when indeed it was. I am not happy with the way this was handled. I responded with proof of my guest name and was apologized to through a text until I called with my disappointment. I no longer feel comfortable working out there without feeling I am not being trusted. I do follow protocol and will not disrespect any rules. Very offended .

This gym is everything I’ve needed and expected to be successful in my quest to return to my healthy self. Don’t be fooled by the smaller footprint of this club compared to a larger facility. I haven’t had to wait for equipment and everything you need is literally under one roof - without feeling cramped.

This facility has an “Expresso” cycle bike which is unique and I’ve never seen it offered anywhere before. It’s an internet connected cycle with various “lessons” to be virtually instructed while the recorded “lesson” on the screen automatically adjusts the resistance in real time to simulate biking outdoors. You WILL sweat.

Whether I want to row or climb stairs or drop it like it’s hot - body weight, that is, this gym is just what I needed. The Hydro Massage was a valuable recovery offering since I was recently injured in a work related accident requiring muscle recovery.

There are two staff- Ray and Todd and both are extremely helpful and approachable. Ray was literally a Ray of sunshine in making me feel instrumentally welcome to this gym. I never felt like I was “just another dollar” walking in and the monthly dues are well spent. New, state of the art equipment adorn the facility, too.

Most importantly - I feel safe and clean when working out here. There are cameras galore and “panic buttons” for you to wear when you workout in weird hours if you need to signal for help.

All in all- this is a gym and not a social spot. It’s a place you can get serious about your fitness goals while getting excellent customer service too. Everybody I’ve run into here has been extremely helpful and I never have felt judged once in here. Oh - and let’s not forget it’s next to an urgent care clinic and a sub sandwich shop.

You pay for what you get but in this case - I felt like I got more than I asked for.
