I canceled my plan 2 years ago and had to jump through a bunch of hoops to do so and I’ve just found out they have been charging me the entire time, about to file a lawsuit against them to recover my money.

I set my father up for the Silver Sneakers plan and it has just been wonderful for him.

The manager goes above and beyond to keep the place clean and to make everyone feel comfortable and at home.

I signed up for the one free week just so I could go with him and get him started and I was so impressed with the whole facility.

Do not sign up with this gym. Unbeknownst to us, They put my name in wrong and when we went to cancel 2 years later they couldn't find me. We said ok, keep looking and let us know. "Oh yes, I'll find it and cancel it today for you." We cancelled that card it was attached to, KNOWING she didnt care enough to keep looking. Sure enough, I get a letter saying that i owe 2 months plus late fees. I call the gym and speak to the same girl and she says "oh yeah I remember you! I couldn't find you haha." I explained what is going on and she cancels it all properly and we end the call. 2 hours later I get a phone call from her saying that I owe for 2 weeks? That she can cancel all the charges except for 2 weeks of it??. I remind her of what happened and how SHE put my name in wrong when I signed up and SHE couldn't find us when we went to cancel it 2 months ago and how SHE said she would keep looking. Then I got an email that said "we will be sent to collections", and I said "so YOU messed up and now I'M going to collections? For less than $30???? No absolutely not."

Love this location! I was a long-time member at another AF and came to the Maurepas location and never looked back! It’s always clean, the equipment is maintained and kept up with, the vending machine is always stocked and the overall atmosphere is just great! Great managers and just a great experience!

I had a membership with this gym. I moved away outside the 25 mile radius to be able to cancel. The owner suggested to the lady I was speaking to, (Kennedy) to put a hold on my account until I moved back. First of all, if I am outside the radius, I get to cancel. The fact that this was even suggested, I feel is somewhat dishonest and just trying to trap me in the contract. They wanted certified mail sent of my lease agreement. An email of my lease statement was not enough. I sent the letter, and I just checked, they are STILL drawing money out of my account. As it stands I am putting a stop payment on this account. Beware of dealing with this gym. Obviously 20 something bucks every 2 weeks is more important to these people than integrity and character. The only good thing I can say at this point is the girl Kennedy has been as helpful and nice as can be throughout this process.

My husband has tried 3-5 times to cancel his membership here, but then requiring people to come in to cancel yet there is never anyone available to help at the front desk?? Come on! Basically stealing $60 from us each month.

Verry aggressive sales. I was lead to believe I could cancel my contract and just pay extra month. I was lied too. And I will never recommend anytime fitness to anyone ever. The place is very small .

The gym is always clean and equipment in working order , wish the gym was a bit bigger with extra machines/equipment due to having to wait sometime for someone to get done with their sets. All in all it is a good place to work out.
After visiting surrounding Anytime Gyms, the Maurepas location is the greatest in our opinion, out of Ponchatula and Denham Springs locations.
