Absolutely disappointed!!! One would think these gyms would be clean and tidy. The unisex rest room hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Mold growing on all air vents. Place smells of old sweat. For the price of membership here I expect better.

I started my gym membership a couple of months ago and unfortunately due to unseen circumstances, I can no longer afford my membership. I tried to get a cancellation for them to tell me I can’t cancel because apparently my contract is for 2 years. NOT KNOWING I SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR 2 YEARS!!! Had I knew the contract was for 2 years I wouldn’t have signed! It just don’t make sense how I was not aware of signing a contract for 2 years. I anm VERY upset with Anytime Fitness!! Definitely felt as if I was scammed:( PLEASE WATCH THOSE CONTRACTS!! Also, this facility isn’t worth it.

Love my anytime locations. Home gym is in West Monroe but it's great to have convenient locations to keep my routine going when I travel out of town.

Overall an OK gym but not worth the price at this spot, and my least favorite in New Iberia. AF is a great company, and I've been to the Abbeville and Lafayette locations in the past, but this location in particular is sorely lacking in upgrades and the staff honestly don't even appear like they are into fitness at all, just working a job. I joined for a couple months while also going to PF, and besides the hack squat machine (which you can easily replicate with a smith) and the dumbbells that go up to 100 instead of stopping at 75, there isn't much reason to pay a premium price almost 3 times higher to come here. It's small and feels very cramped, the bathroom is small, there is no locker room just some across a wall, the equipment is aging and mostly very old, some even rusting, the benches are small, the cardio/bands/HiiT area is so small that if one other person is there you're almost running into each other, and it generally feels like that all over the gym. I would go at 5am mostly, I couldn't imagine going if it was packed.

Do not go to this gym because the manager Sandy is nosey, impressionable and will listen to your conversations to see if you are using profanity. She interrupts your workouts just to see whats
being said. Whenever a member complains who is a friend of the franchise owner, the owner says he believes his friends because they go to church. Sandy says she doesn't like profanity because she's into church. Nobody was using profanity in a disrespectful tone towards any one. When the guys workout it's respectful towards all members. Sandy and the owner should leave church out of the gym setting especially when addressing grown men...go to planet fitness instead. Also the equipment is outdated broken and not mounted down complete hazard...enough is enough after nine years...The owner and Sandy tend to accommodate their white counterparts than any other diversity when it comes to communications and fairness...no equality... racial fairness and equality not present...stay away if you not their counterparts.... Minnesota Corporate Office will be contacted....This Owner is not representing their Anytime Fitness brand of fairness and equality
