The manager of the thrift store is absolutely fabulous. She really listens. In a world where everyone is so preoccupied and distracted, she is a breath of fresh air. I was allowed to spend as much time as I needed inspecting every seem and cushion of the sofa I wanted. I was forced to find a new sofa due to a knee surgery and my sofa was too low to the ground. She allowed me to inspect,sit, & lay, for as long as I needed. It was quite a long while to ensure I could get out of this new sofa easily. She treated me with kindness and was without judgment. I felt perfectly comfortable. I didn’t have the money for New sofa from a furniture store and I was thankful to have an option that was affordable to my situation. Delivery was lower than any other delivery charge I have ever had for furniture. After they dropped off my furniture they took away a sofa for me. The moving crew was very pleasant.
If this wasn’t so far from my house I would visit more often. An honorable mention was she gave me 2 delicious smoothies.
I really feel like the vibe of their whole environment is kindness. I would definitely shop at this store, stop and get a smoothie,& workout at the Gym if you are in the area. 10 out of 10.

I was told they have a thrift store on China berry st on benton road in bossier city Louisiana and that they will come and pick up furniture, clothes and ect to help people in need so I called them and they came Friday and picked up a sofa with built in console and cup holders. I highlyrecommend them. I plan on looking at their gym also that's on the same street as their thrift store.

This is a great place to come and work out. You can come on your own time, or when they have a workout group. They have all sorts of programs, and tons of supportive people.

It's entirely donation based, so you can choose to give if you want, but what they provide is worth paying for.

They have plenty of machines to work on, as well as plenty of options for working out without sets. And they even have plenty of other smaller businesses attached as well. From rock climbing behind it, to a consignment store and even a smoothie shop.

They provide childcare when you go (at certain times), and are just all around great people.

What makes it so great is they do it all in the name of the Lord. Great people with great services.

A wonderful place to go and exercise and connect with other people. The atmosphere is welcoming and people know you by name. The owner and his wife are awesome and host multiple community events and they host bible study at the gym as well. They offer a couple of classes a week and there is a killer obstacle course out behind the place. It is awesome. I encourage all in the area to check it out and support the ministry!

This place is awesome! I've never exeperienced a gym like this where there are no fees associated with working out. The Gentleman who runs this truly does it as a calling and out of the goodness of his heart. And when I left my sunglasses there, they held on to them for me and they didn't disappear. 5/5 stars, will definitely be grinding there in the future!

I did crossfit for about 2 1/2 years. After my wife and I got married, we just couldn't afford to goto crossfit anymore.. Which was very heartbreaking. We tried to goto a global gym, but easily got bored because we were so used to the communal/cooperative experience crossfit provided for us. After slacking off for about 6 months and gaining about 15 pounds we finally mustered up the courage to goto Christfit. Even though we don't get the olympic style lifting we so enjoyed doing crossfit, Christ fit Gym meets every other prerequisite we wanted. The atmosphere is always charged with excitement because there are so many people to workout and interact with. Even when I was at my old gym I always tried to play Christian Hip-Hop and Rock, but because it wasn't a Christian establishment that didn't always workout. But at Christfit they're always listening to modern upbeat Christian music and I love it! Another thing I love is how the workouts literally push me to my limits everytime, which is something I just couldn't get working out by myself. If you're shy don't worry, because the people here are all really cool and approachable, and the coaches are very good at remember names and asking how you're doing. Another thing I really appreciate is how everyone is right there with you during your workout, encouraging you not to quit. Last but not least, they always start the session by honoring God, which helps to remind me that the workouts are not only physical, but spiritual. I find myself praying while I'm working out to go further than I had before. They also do a lot of outside the gym activities. Anyways, I encourage you to come check this place out if you haven't!
