BE WARNED...... I joined this gym , was asked would I like a personal trainer for $286, it was CLEARLY NOT STATED that it was for 12 months, I was PURPOSELY misinformed as to sign up for a MONTH, when I confronted the manager about the 2nd charge of $286 he advised "im sure I told you this was for 12 months" IM SURE... really, so BE WARNED they will lie to you, this has happened to others to at this gym..
Now they put me into collections...
So be careful with what you sign, they CON PEOPLE.

Convenient but dirty -all the time. Showers, locker room, carpet, machines… professional Cleaning crew or A hired janitor maybe? There are a lot of people in there most of the time when I’m there. The more people, more cleaning required. Currently considering, strongly considering, another facility just mentally preparing for the commute.

This gym has its highs and lows.
Cleanliness and maintenance are not its strong suit; the photo I attached is not uncommon to witness. I let the staff know of the issue at the beginning of my work out and it wasn’t addressed when I left an hour later. There are usually multiple water fountains or machines out for weeks.

The trainers are awesome. Lawson Kennedy knocked it out the park. Praise has a great attitude towards his clients and his trainers.

Overall, a very mid gym.

This gym is amazing. It’s great for me, because it’s 24 hours. It’s always clean and the environment is great as well. This by far has been the best gym I became a member of. I just wish they had a Sauna lol. Other than that everything is great there.

Don’t waste your time here. They consistently hire lazy people that refuse to do their job. Go in as I do at 5 am every week day (when they open)only to find out they don’t sell preworkout until 6 but I’ve bought it everyday prior at 5 am. Then he tells me he has to countdown the register first. Well that’s funny last time I asked to pay with cash I was told they don’t use cash. So which lie is it club 4 ???

Not a member (yet), but I toured the facility yesterday. Andi, the GM, was personable, funny, and took her time explaining everything the gym has to offer in great detail. The facility appears to be very clean, the equipment appears to be in like new conditions and has a good variety of equipment and free weights. Just wish they had more squat/deadlift platforms. I believe there are only two, maybe 3. 24/7 if you pay for the premium which is great. I plan on using their 3 day free trial and will likely get a membership.

I would caution anyone considering a membership here to read the fine print carefully. Prior to a scheduled surgery, I requested that both my gym membership and personal training account be placed on hold during my recovery. The gym membership was paused, but the personal training account continued to accumulate charges for several months while I was unable to attend.

When I returned, I learned that my trainer had already left the facility. This was not the first trainer to leave during my time there, which raises concerns about turnover and consistency. Since I never used the sessions that accumulated during my medical recovery, I disputed the charges. Unfortunately, instead of working toward a fair resolution, the club chose to send the balance to a collection agency.

In my opinion, this reflects poorly on how the company values its members. I believe others in the community should be aware of these practices before committing to Club4Fitness.

Great gym overall, but it can get crowded, especially during peak hours, which sometimes means waiting for equipment. It would be helpful if they added a second delt fly machine, glute thrust bench, and both abductor machines to keep things moving. The women’s sauna could also use more frequent cleaning. That said, it’s still my favorite gym! Big shoutout to trainers Praise and Frankie for making every workout better.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Huge improvement — best gym experience yet!

This gym has always been clean and well-equipped, but since the change in management, it’s truly next level. The new team is professional, approachable, and clearly invested in making members feel welcome and supported. Any issues I had in the past have been completely turned around, and it’s obvious they take pride in running the place right.

The fellow club members are still as friendly and helpful as ever, and while peak hours can get busy, it’s because so many people love training here. Between the positive atmosphere, great equipment, and fantastic staff, this is hands down the best gym around.

My card was stolen and upon getting a new card I entered in my new information and paid a late fee thinking my membership was updated. I then start receiving calls saying there was a problem and when I returned to the gym I was told that my card was declining (something I wasn’t experiencing anywhere else and with none of my other subscriptions) and that I owed them more late fees. There was no one I could speak with about it (managers were no help) and I was directed to call an automated number (that of course also couldn’t fix my issue). Terrible customer service that I haven’t experienced anywhere (not even other gyms) before, it felt like they just wanted to extract as much money from me as possible.

Cool gym, nothing super crazy. There’s a little bit of something for everyone in here. Always pretty clean, plenty of space and the equipment is always in working order from my experience. Haven’t had much interaction with the staff so I can’t really speak on that except for that one buff woman that works here, she’s pretty cool. Every time I called the front desk the employee was pretty polite.

Wish they’d relax a bit on the recording policy out on the gym floor.

They allow bags on the workout floor. They don't enforce the open container policy.
They don't enforce the footwear policy. It's rare that a member reracks or return their weights. Staff doesn't clean the cupholders. All machine repairs go through their corporate office & takes weeks for maintenance.

I love both gyms with the membership I have. I use the 24 hour gym on Jones creek the most and it’s a great gym but for me and i work out at 2:45am during the work week it’s a hit and miss on if the front door works. That’s been my only complaint and frustration. I do think they have over populated the jones creek gym, if you work out in the afternoons or evenings you are parking way out in the parking lot and waiting in gym equipment to use. The location on Florida blvd is way cleaner and the locker room is not a disaster. I do hope they will expand their equipment and get in newer pieces. There is a new state of the art gym opening later this year with updated and new pieces of equipment nobody in Baton Rouge has seen before….like equipment you only see in Vegas or California. We will see how many defect over there. It will be 24hr as well Club 4 is a good gym, not a great gym but it gets the job done for me during the week, on weekends I go to my other gym because they have updated equipment.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience with this gym has been beyond frustrating. As someone who has owned a gym, I understand how things should work—and this is by far the worst experience I’ve had.

I was placed into collections for a membership I never had. I never stepped foot in the gym, never had a card on file, and in 2023, while pregnant, they even had a note in their system confirming that I did not have a membership.

Fast forward to 2025, I tried to sign up for a membership—only to be denied because of that same 2023 collection. They admitted that the system stated I didn’t have a membership, yet they still refused to let me join and continued to charge me for a membership I wasn’t even allowed to use.

If you’re looking for a reliable, family-friendly gym—do yourself a favor and go to Crunch instead. They even have a daycare for kids, and none of this nonsense

When I originally signed up, I was told that my son was too old for child care but too young to have a membership. They told me that he could stay by my side during training with no problem. Fast forward to now, my son is excited to hang out with me at the gym and I am told that he would have to go to child care, which was closed. I am beyond pissed for being lied to and will most likely be canceling my membership. Do better Club4....

Sadly no 0 star option because I hate to give even 1 star for this travesty. If you want to be treated and talked to like you’re an idiot and an inconvenience by control freaks then this is the place for you. Sad because there’s great equipment and I know a lot of good people who train here. They’ll all be gone in the fall when a far superior place opens up close by and all that’s left here will be the Karen’s.

I did a day pass because I was visiting my sister for the weekend. Overall, the gym was OK. I felt like everybody was on top of each other because of the small space. I did appreciate the gender specific saunas in the locker room as well as the cleanliness of the restrooms.

This is a great gym as far as what is offered. The equipment is great and it has a lot of other amenities. However, it very much has a 'bro culture' with a very young demographic which would be fine if they knew basic gym etiquette. There is a lot of 'camping out' on machines while scrolling social and not a lot of mindfulness of others. I've had to ask several people who were on machines for extended periods of time on their phones if they were almost finished. This happens regularly and it sucks. I wish management would address this but I refuse to be one of 'those people' who nag management. It also is extremely crowded most of the time, so you do have to be very assertive when navigating and not get easily intimidated. It's close to my house and has the equipment I need.

I gotta say, I like this location a whole lot better than the one on Florida. No shade to the other location. They're both clean and have their own perks, but this one is actually 24 hours. Clean facility, with actual weightlifting equipment. It has a couple of other amenities for use, like the sauna, red light therapy, or the massage chair. The downside is it has a very predatory membership policy that locks you in for a 1 year contract, unless you pay the premium membership which is on a month to month basis. Many people that have used this gym have had a bad experience "trying" to cancel the membership, where the manager usually cites the contractual obligation after you sign on.

One of the worst gyms I have ever been too. the equipment is ok but the the general manager is the rudest person I have ever encountered with. I was originally at the Florida location but moved to this one because my office is 5 minutes from it. I asked the manager if i could move my membership over here and he said he would. I went about my life thinking that this had been done. well one day when I'm scanning in i get pulled to the side saying i cant come in. I explain what happened. everything goes back to normal. few weeks go by. same thing happens. few more weeks go by. gym catches fire. ask them if i can work out at Florida, they say yes. I don't know if by scanning into this location it started another transfer or what but when I went back to the JC gym they said I wasn't a member. the the regional manager pulls me to the side and yells at me saying that i transferred location 5 time and that she was going to kick me out. every time I try to tell her what happened she just yells at me saying I'm wrong and the system is right. she would not even hear me out. I dont know what happen with my account behind the scenes weather it was that the store manager never switched my account or what. She game me a warning and said she fixed "my" mistake. My primary complaint is with the regional. she was a b word to me. i kept going for a few more weeks then stopped because it always felt like they were watching me. 0/10 will not go back unless new management is put into place. (I also have email recored of when I first asked my membership to be changed and a confirmation of it being done so don't reply saying we have no recored of this happening). thank you for coming to my ted talk.

The gym is clean, very busy but I expected that. However; I did have an overall pretty negative experience with the staff. I called back in August about cancelling a membership which I got conflicting answers on from the best that I can remember. This caused me to pay an additional month for the membership, which wasn’t the biggest deal in the world. What really enforced my displeasure was the disbelief the employee openly expressed during the process. Anyways, to massively summarize, I found the experience extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I’m supposed to hear back from the general manager in the next few days, maybe we can all get some clarification.
Update: I never did hear from the management and it’s been a week. My review will stay the same.

Gym was great the first few years it opened but now everybody in a 10 miles radius goes to this gym and it is ALWAYS packed. Forget trying to go after work, i had to go join another gym just to get anything done, and now when I’m trying to cancel they want another month of membership fees so you “can still access the gym”. Like i just want to not pay them any more money and never access the gym again, but nope, typical corporate gym bs. Oh well. I visited the location on Jones Creek and received an awesome tour of the facility. It was a Saturday afternoon. The gym was very clean and there were ample amenities. I even tried the hydromassage.

I decided to use my 3 day trial starting Monday to get a real feel for the place. I must say that I didn't enjoy it. The first day, I did my cardio. The second day, I trained back. I didn't make it to the 3rd day. The most noticeable thing was how busy it was. People were everywhere. There were groups of teens hogging the weights and the machines. It was obvious that they weren't really serious. It was a little frustrating. There were groups of people hanging out at machines that I needed to use as well, so it was a waiting game.

Regarding the clientele, there was one friendly person that I spoke to. The rest, not so friendly. A couple of people gave me a not so kind look. I know the difference between a benign straight face and a look that is unwelcoming and judgmental. Maybe it was my LeBron shirt. Who knows?

Moreover, I didn't like the vibe. I wasn't feeling the overall energy of the place. That being said, the staff was friendly. I didn't encounter any rude staff, which was good.

After the second day, I had decided that I didn't want to join and that I would stay with my current gym. However, I remembered that there was a location on Florida Blvd. I wanted to check it out and decided that if it was like the Jones Creek location, I would just stay at my current gym. I absolutely loved the Florida Blvd. location! These two gyms have the same name, but the vibe is literally like night and day!

Even though it's close to my home, the Jones Creek location is definitely a hard no for me!

I've been a member for 5 months and overall it's good but there's ALWAYS several broken machines. They stay broken for months and rather than fix the machines, they just change the dates on the broken sign so it seems like it has only been broken for a few days instead of a several weeks and that seems a little shady to me. Other than that it's pretty good.

Came back to edit that the AC has been broken going on 3 weeks now. Maybe they're trying to compensate for the broken sauna, lol.

🚨 Attention Members! 🚨 My car was broken into at Club4 on Sunday morning around 10AM, and the management refused to let the officer see the footage without a court order. So basically the guy is still out and will steal again. The district manager even lied about the presence of exterior cameras. Their blatant disregard for customer safety and support is astonishing. Not once did the district manager show 1 ounce of empathy. I own multiple businesses and I would not even allow someone with her temperament to manage a flower bed. Ridiculous. I show up today at 7am (they’re supposed to be staffed at 5am) and there’s a group of people standing at the door outside. Apparently nobody can get in, even the staff because the scanner at the door isn’t working. HOW DOES A REAL KEY NOT OPEN A SINGLE DOOR AT THIS PLACE?! Highly unprofessional establishment that is depending on a barcode scanner to unlock every door in the facility and nobody can get inside. We already don’t have saunas anymore and now I couldn’t work out today solely because NOBODY can get inside.

Also, multiple machines have been broke for months and still not fixed. This place is ran poorly.

$50 to downgrade membership??!!?? I’ve been a member for over a year, why can’t I lower my membership if you continually remove services. There is no cost associated with it. Only got the mid tier membership to go to in person yoga classes. Those are gone. In person spin classes are gone. Sauna is gone. 3-4 treadmills are out of commission a month. Water fountains don’t work half the time. What’s next? No dumbbells? No lights? Just like every other membership place, fees to do anything, it feels like a timeshare. I’m surprised the toilet paper is free.

Would NOT recommend. Went here this morning around 7am for a free 3 day pass because I was thinking about joining. The guy at the front counter was not welcoming at all. I inquired about the sauna because that was one of my deal breakers. He said it was temporarily closed. I asked if there was a way I could at least see it to get an idea of the size. He told me no, which is understandable. My issue is, he still didn’t offer a tour of the facility, didn’t review the different plans or perks of joining. NOTHING! The gym looks really nice and clean. It’s a HUGE gym and extremely overwhelming without a tour. As I cluelessly walked around like a lost pup, I immediately decided to just leave. This isn’t somewhere I’d want to spend my money. As I was leaving the guy at the front desk had the audacity to tell me to have a nice day. He didn’t even ask if there was anything he could help with or why I was abruptly leaving. I wasn’t even there a full 5 minutes.

Got charged a fee that was never disclosed to me upon signing up for the membership. Also, the sauna doesn’t get hot enough to justify using it, which was the only reason I actually signed up to go to this gym in the first place.

Edit: I’m replying to your reply, all I’m gonna say is that is cap. Corporate ahhhhh type response. The only reason I’m going here is because the gym I was at was closed down. Make the saunas better.

Please pay attention to your bills from this place. They charged me 2 times for the annual fee. Will not refund anything. After I cancelled my membership, they charged me for the next month and said this is standard, and I should see another charge after that. I shouldn't have had this charge after cancelling over a month ago. They are nice when you go in, but call with an issue and they get rude really fast and do not care why you called. They make every excuse to justify why they take your money.

(1.25 years in) STILL THE SAME. Welcome to the cleanest, friendliest, and most member friendly gyms I have ever attended. This gym has everything from rows and rows of cardio to several squat and deadlift areas. Everything is setup so you can get your workout done. Staff and gym members are friendly in case you need a quick spot or just someone to talk to in the morning. Complementary training is available in the second tier package. There is FRESH coffee in the bar. ALL the weights are racked NEATLY. The bathrooms, massage area, and therapy rooms are CLEAN, NEAT, and nicely laid out. AND if that is not all, they have a turf area for group training AND a group training room for those who want a directed exercise class. Cole and his team run an outstanding facility and have never been so busy that they cannot help you. Did I forget to mention they have childcare too? Yeah, they got us covered.

Canceling your membership is a nightmare. You can't even cancel in person. They send you through a bunch of hoops to cancel. Had a good experience working out here and would have come back but this has soured the gym for me.

My experience with this gym has been nothing short of frustrating. They lack honesty, overcharging accounts and employing incompetent trainers. The management is subpar, and the overall vibe feels like a scam. Giving it 0 stars due to the disappointing service and questionable practices.
Avoid that place at all costs – it's a massive mistake waiting to happen. Whether it's the dishonest practices, overcharging, or incompetent trainers, you're better off finding a more reliable and trustworthy fitness option.

the gym is nice, but i’m giving it one star because of how scammy they make it. I tried to drop down a tier for my membership because i realized i wasn't using the extra amenities that came with my membership. in order to do that i would have had to pay ANOTHER annual fee, which i believe was $50 or something. then, to cancel you have to pay for the month you’re in even if you cancel at the beginning of said month. i understand these may be policies but i feel like they aren’t fair, and if i would have known about them i wouldn’t have signed up with club4 in the first place because i hate supporting scams and scammy businesses. my mistake for not reading the fine print when i originally signed up. good riddance club4

This gym is a complete joke and both management and company practices are unscrupulous. Avoid Club4 at all costs; there are plenty of other gyms around that are much better (and cleaner!).

1. Joining: if you absolutely MUST sign up for this sorry gym, don't agree to anything more than the $10 monthly membership. If you sign up for the Premium Plus membership like I did, they'll try to charge you $50 to downgrade. They'll tell you it's in the Club Agreement, but it IS NOT. When you point out to them that it isn't in the Club Agreement, the manager will just tell you it's their policy, even though it isn't posted anywhere. After I said I didn't want to pay the fee I didn't agree to, he asked me did I want to cancel my membership and re-enroll for $10/month, WHICH WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN ME PAYING ANOTHER $50 ANNUAL FEE. Lol. What a scam.

2. Cancellation: they lure you in under the pretense that the gym is contract-free, no commitment, etc. Eh, that's half true. You do need to cancel prior to 30 days before the next payment is due to get out of it.

3. Management: no customer centricity whatsoever. I'm not surprised because the employee turnover is astronomical, and if you read other reviews here, you'll see why: Cole, the manager. They don't enforce rules, here either. People are always naked or in only their underwear in the sauna. Disgusting.

4. Personal Training: Immediately they will try to sell you on personal training when you join, which is just a money grab. You will not see results lol. You won't even make it 3 months with the same "personal trainer" with their high turnover rate. We paid $100 each monthly for 3 months for personal training and weren't even notified when our trainer quit. I was also injured during workouts with them twice because they don't know what they're doing. They just hire college kids who need a job.

When my membership ends, I will not be returning. Read the other 1* reviews; they're true.

My wife and I signed up for the $25 plan each. After several months we decided we didn't need all the extra features in that plan, and with Christmas coming up we wanted to save some money and downgrade to the $10 plan. We were informed that there was a $49.95 DOWNGRADE FEE - per person. This is a total ripoff. Our year here as member ends in April 2024 and we're seriously thinking of cancelling after.

Outstanding, clean, well adorned gym at a more-than-fair price. The staff are all courteous and helpful. Like any gym, the busy times of day are, well, busy. However, there are more than enough options for whatever muscle group or cardio goal you’re targeting that day. My only critique would be the Seated Pec Fly/Rear Delt Machine… having 2 would be excellent although, not necessary for a 5 star rating. Highly recommend.

The culture at this gym is bad. A lot of people invading personal space, people hogging equipment, and a lot of crowding gym-bros. All of that said though, still pretty middle of the road as far as gyms go. What made this go from a 3 star to a 1 was the cancellation process. I went in to cancel and was given a card with instructions for a third party website. The website itself is a borderline scam investment website, and the instructions on the card, if followed, will not allow you to cancel. You end up having to call. The automated system will also not allow you to cancel, you will instead be directed to an investment customer service person who will then have to transfer you to a billing department.

To be fair, once you get to this point, it is pretty seamless, and the CSR was professional and polite. But getting there was like pulling teeth.

This is the best gym I’ve been to in the greater Baton Rouge area. It’s new, fresh and in a safe area. The entire staff is friendly and will greet you when walking in. They don’t sit back and chill like most staff at most gyms. Impressively, they are always cleaning up and keeping the place looking fresh. The work ethic is impressive. There are large TVs all over the place, which allows for some entertainment while working out. The hydro massage chairs and red light therapy are the icing on the cake. You have got to try this stuff out. If equipment is damaged for whatever reason, it never gets neglected for long. I used to work out at LA Fitness / Esporta and that was a major problem there, even though I and others often asked the managers to do something about it. Cole, the manager, is doing a good job. It's obvious he cares about keeping the gym up to a high standard. Yes, I have been called out twice for not re-racking the weights, as some other reviews have mentioned. I didn't take offense to this. It's common courtesy to pick up after yourself and I respect that. Either way, highly recommended gym!

Just wanted to write this to share my experience. I have been a very loyal customer to not only the Club4 in Baton Rouge JC but also to the Club4 in Shreveport. I originally bought the $10 membership at the Shreveport location and loved the staff, equipment and everything about it. I then went off to LSU and upgraded to the $24.99 membership so I could go to the Club4 in Baton Rouge JC. I was there the first day and have been going ever since… until today. My membership was banned from out of nowhere bc I barely poured water in the electric sauna. (My first time doing so at this location and also the Shreveport location has the same exact electric sauna with a bucket of water and ladle!) I was truly shocked to see how a loyal and longtime customer of Club4 could just be kicked to the curb like this.
