Nice gym. I’ve been going for about 2-3 months now. Everyone is helpful as far as the staff. There’s a very nice young lady there during the day, she’s very kind. And it’s very clean. The general manager isn’t welcoming. I’ve come in contact with him twice and simple questions make me feel like I’m bothering him. Outside of that, i do enjoy being a member.

Kid Care in Shreveport has been wonderful for the past year and a half since we joined the gym. The manager has always been helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. During her maternity leave over the past three months, however, the experience noticeably declined. It felt disorganized, and several employees were more focused on their phones than on the children, often coming across as rude. I’m relieved she’s back.

It’s a really good gym but the general manager’s customer service is not up to par at all. He dismisses the paying customers. I really felt like he just wanted me to get out of his face. I really liked the atmosphere and the gym equipment. The only thing that bothered me was that, if my friend hadn’t mentioned the 3 free days, the front desk staff would’ve charged me nearly 9 dollars. I love my experience at Club 4. They have a variety of choices. I am able to choose free weights or use the machines. I enjoy the privacy of the women only gym. I love that the $35 membership includes childcare. This is what hooked me and convinced me to cancel my Planet Fitness membership. The facility is clean and well maintained. Staff are very helpful and friendly. There is something for everyone here, beginners to advanced. There is also a free three day trial to come and see how you like it!

ETA: If you are looking for classes, look no further. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and FUN! I can't say enough positive things about the staff here. I use the sauna frequently. It is small, but usually not too crowded. If I had to complain about one thing it's that the gym floor is very crowded during peak times, but that's at any gym. This is the main reason why I do the group fitness classes. They are not as congested!

Jim has a little bit of everything if you want free weights they got plenty of freeways where there’s no weight they got dumbbells. Attention females!!! Occasionally the staff will have to clean the women's gym and bathroom. If there is only male staff on the schedule your options are to deal with them in our space for a few minutes or watch the dirt, hair, and dust build up. Some of y'all might be comfortable in a dirty environment, but real women are not. Thank you to the staff for accommodating our needs for secure spaces for women. Ladies- relax. They have a job to do.

The gym really was a great when I was a member BUT

Cancelling your membership (at least not in person) is a pain (the following took place in 2023, hopefully things have changed). This is a common tactic of big box gyms to keep their non-attending members paying. Admittedly, I've heard stories of other chains perpetrating far more egregious behavior in this regard than Club4 does, but it IS a pain in the butt and prospective members should be aware it is not necessarily just a thirty day cancellation notice.

BUT after giving me the runaround, this franchisee went a long and tried to collect continuing dues AFTER I HAD BEEN CANCELLED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AND LIVED IN A DIFFERENT CITY.

I am adding this here as I had another review detailing the full insanity of the matter which seems to have gotten deleted. Six months went by before I stopped hearing about these membership dues. Absolutely deplorable behavior.

I enjoy this gym for the most part, great equipment and lots of space. However, there have been several times now when I or another girl is in the bathroom and a male worker comes into the women’s bathroom. This has happened with a female worker present, so it seems highly unnecessary for a male to be in the bathroom. This is very inappropriate and makes us feel uncomfortable. We change in the bathroom, shower in the bathroom, and all around need privacy from men in the bathroom. I’m speaking for multiple women I’ve talked to about this situation here at club 4.

Just started going here and was initially a little hesitant to start a membership due to some older reviews. However, every staff member I’ve spoken to has been EXTREMELY helpful and beyond friendly to me and my husband! Club4Fitness is a great place to work on your fitness goals. The equipment is great ranging from cardio (treadmills, bikes, elliptical, and stationary equipment that helps you build your muscles) and weight training. There are a variety of group classes that are fun. Want relax, try the hydro massage, red light therapy, and tanning. Their subscription should be explained when signing up. If you don’t cancel and don’t pay, you will still be charged but you will NOT be able to work out. In order to cancel you have to pay the balance on your account or it will continue to charge you monthly. The system is different than most gyms and therefore should be THOROUGHLY explained at signing up because at the end of the day if you’re in situation like me (didn’t realize it doesn’t cancel from no payment, yet still charges, though you can’t have access while its still charging if you haven’t paid it but eventually will send to collections) it’s messed up to have to pay 180.00 for that.

In fact they close amenities early every day. How early they close them seems on the whim of whoever is working.
For this reason I'm considering changing gyms.

I have no issues with this gym. However, the customer service was horrible, I had the worst experience with the lady at the front desk. Their system was down so they weren’t able to scan membership cards, which is fine. But rather than say “sorry we can’t do a day pass”, she rudely stated their system was down and said too bad we couldn’t workout. I had done a 3 free day pass so she was going to let me in but told me my sister couldn’t come in. I asked if she could sit on the couch and wait and she said no she had to leave because she didn’t sign a waiver. I told her we used to have memberships so she had already signed a waiver and I even offered to pay cash for the day pass, or give her all the info so she could put it in the system when it was running again and she said no. She looked at me like I was stupid, she rolled her eyes and told me “too bad”. I understand there was nothing she could do but she was rude and unapologetic, if you don’t know how to politely speak to people you should be working the front desk.

The locker rooms always smell disgusting and the tanning beds are always dirty when I get in there and it's just not kept up well. I’ve attended this gym since July 2022 when they opened and I never had a bad experience until today with the manager Serenity Jones.
Full transparency… I had a payment issue with my account and payment was over due. I am human and I’m not embarrassed in the slightest.

INSTEAD of stopping me when I scanned into the gym or coming up to tap me on my shoulder and ask me nicely to come to the front desk to address an issue with my account… Serenity proceeded to 1) state my account was past due at least 10-15 FT away from me in front of others 2) snicker, smirk and roll her eyes when I showed her my attempt to pay on the app 3) dismissed me with a “goodbye” while I was talking when I called back regarding questions on where I could download a receipt about the charge.

Other things occurred but this post is already too long. As she put it on the phone she is “blunt” and there was not an issue with her behavior. At this point it’s a he said / she said debate and it is what it is at this point. When I asked for her name she gave it with a smile because she knows nothing will happen lol

Take a look at the reviews and you will find multiple 1 star ratings related to the rudeness associated with the staff here. LOVE the gym, and I will continue to go but for the love of God I wish a general manger would intervene and enforce some customer service training for the staff.

I go to this gym everyday- but today an employee called me a “meat head” because he wanted to use the space I was in for a private class. When he told me to leave I put my stuff away and was leaving, but I wasn’t happy about it since he interrupted me in the middle of my workout. There is no reason to call paying customers names.

As a mom who is weary of daycare services they have been nothing short of amazing. Great gym environment and equipment. Gym is a little busy, and have wondered if they will open another location. They have good tanning beds, massage chairs and over all products gyms should carry. Very satisfied

I love this gym💗 it’s so clean and all the staff are really friendly. I appreciate the code access women only section so much! Not only does it feel safer especially going really late at night but this gym gets PACKED so having another set of weights for just us girls is so helpful. I hope they expand as big as PF but never lose the quality. Moving soon and will be sad if I’m not based near a Club4 🫶🏽 one thing I would recommend is the ability to hold personal keys at the front desk. I really appreciated that at my last gym. If they ever expand, please add a pool as well

I've been a member since November and love this gym. Staisha is an amazing trainer. She designs my training around my limitations and skillset. I love the yoga class with Heather and the Body Pump with Colin. Relaxing on the Hydro-loungers is awesome. Thanks Deandre and Chris for managing a great gym!

I've only been going for four days, but the gym is extremely nice. I've had a membership with Anytime for the last few years and I pay the same price at Club4's most popular membership. With Anytime all I got to use was the gym, there were no extra perks for $35/mo. With Club4 I get the gym, do classes, tanning, red light therapy, hydromassage, 24/7 access, and childcare for two kids for $35/month. They also have locations in other states that you can use just like Anytime except you don't have to wait 30 days. That's really hard to beat.

It is a very large gym, so if you are intimidated by that or more people being there it may not be the place for you. However, the equipment is nice, the facilities are clean, and I highly recommend trying it out. The only downside is they don't allow for you to pay in advance with cash. They also try to discourage using a card. They prefer your routing and bank account numbers for payment. Other than that it seems like a great place. Will update after a few months.

The gym is good but the staff here are so rude. Everyone here needs to be fired and replaced, it’s the staff that gives this gym the bad energy like the other reviews have stated.

This place is a scam with their personal training. My parents signed a 3 month contract, they charged on the 4th month without their consent and DID NOT explain the contract stated they had to have a written notice. They were told I would not have to do anything once the contract has expired.
Personal training is $269 a month, how do you charge someone an extra month on a 3 month contract? Worse management I have ever encountered and they’re backed by the owner of the franchise. What makes matters worse is the little man (assistant manager) and the GM always post pics of themselves on the gym website. Without recourse, they took my card info and gave it to the personal training side to charge which is total fraud. DO NOT JOIN!!!!

If there was a way to provide a review strictly for the management of the facilities and general professionalism of the staff separate from the actual equipment available CLUB4FItness would receive a zero star rating.

Here's the story:

So, I have a billing issue over the holidays and decide to call the front desk to clarify charges ($89 for 1-month) on my account. Keep in mind they advertise $35 / month for the premium membership. So obviously I call in to see what going on. The first person who answered the phone seems clueless and was unable to rectify the issue.

He passes me to the General Manager (CHRIS)who tells me 2x
that late charges and any services fees can be avoided by adding a bank account. I suggest to waive the fees by adding the bank account. That's when he goes back and changes his story to state...oh we can't do that now, but maybe next time.

Once I noticed the fee seemed to be arbitrary and agreed to add a bank account the General Manager (CHRIS) choose to change the story. I questioned him for clarity and he began to get noticeably frustrated and quickly HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME.

Totally unsatisfied with the exchange I drove up to CLUB4FITNESS and to engage face to face in order to demand an apology - CHRIS the General Manager stated that even if he was being unprofessional he was fine with being so, because he served in the military. And furthermore he said he would beat me to the chase of cancelling my membership over a $9 late he could have easily waived.

I am truly disappointed in the lack of leadership, business savvy, and humility shown in a situation which could have been easily handled. CLUB4FITNESS has some of the best equipment but the issues of leadership and accountability are evident in the service and cleanliness needed to maintain such a place.

Men’s restroom is absolutely disgusting, not sure if it’s been cleaned at all in months. Especially the sauna, it has a horrible stench. Also the music they play in the locker room makes my ears bleed it’s so bad. But everything outside of the locker room is pretty good and kept up.

I stayed in starkville, MS that has a Club 4 fitness. it’s okay, one story building, okay selection of weights and equipment…i thought that’s what i was going to see when i came here. but YALL…this gym is amazing. is new, updated, two stories with different sections for machines, free weights, a cycling room, a women’s only workout area, a place for the kids to go while you workout, so so much better than the other location back home and i am so glad i renewed my membership here. if you’re second guessing coming here i’m telling you now DO IT !! you will not be disappointed.

The club and staff are amazing. They treat me like family. The trainers are amazing as well. I told him what I liked to do and my goals and an injury I have. he has worked with me and come up with a doable fun challenging program. NOTHING is cookie cutter ever session is catered to my personal tastes in workouts and goals. Yesterday i 50lb Pr-ed my squat press… for 3 sets of ten. I don’t hurt in my injured shoulder after arm day ever. I am always pumped to go i. And see what we have in store for the day.

I’m an everyday member & I’ve been to multiple gyms around the world. Never have I been disrespected like this Chris guy spoke with me today. He says whoever is above his position does not matter & he has all the say so in the gym. He claims he is the manager and general manager. If so then do better CLUB4! He needs to be trained in the basic etiquettes of customer service. He gives you no time to speak & puts words in your mouth. I’ve heard complaints about this guys from more than half the people at this gym. Hope to here from the higher ups sooner than later!!!

Solid gym, one of the best in Shreveport/Bossier. This gym literally has everything you need to get the job done and also offers amenities like a tanning bed, hydro massage, and sauna inside of the locker room. The service is great and the atmosphere is cool too. Club4 fitness is a welcomed addition to the area.

I love the group classes, the instructors are knowledgeable, all the equipment is new, bathrooms are clean, BUT, kids care particularly in this location is so disappointing. In my previous location, the kids care staff were very friendly, knew my kids' names, always were excited to see them, played with them, etc. Here, they would just check the kids in, and the job is done. My kids are complaining that they are not allowed to do anything, just watch TV and color. Before, my son didn't want to leave the kids care, but here he doesn't even want to go in.

This place was a good experience, but one of the reginals named Alex Loudin didn't treat my respect as an another employee of an establishment should, I very much so loved my trainer and I will terminate my contract here. I believe that, for example, if anyone else was an employee at Club 4 Fitness they would want to be treated with respect by everyone, not disrespected.
