It's a great place to work out and great staff. Protein shakes are really tasty .paid around 25.00 for a week. Swimming pool also is great.

Desk worker too busy on his phone to do anything but greet people. Asked for help to connect to their wifi and he shood me away saying "i dont know anything about that ...sorry" without making an effort to get an employee that does.

Ps. They dont regularly restock so always check if there's toilet paper.

You’d think with the all the focus on the rebranding the gym would care to take care or it’s equipment and building. Example; I hope no one plans to get exercise using any kind of spin bike because the ONE they have has had a “scheduled for maintenance” sign scotch-taped to it since at least December 2019 - and I’m not exaggerating.

LA fitness in Baton Rouge in Perkins Row is now Esporta Fitness. Does this mean Esporta Fitness will expand the free weights area. It so crowded with old benches and this makes it hard to manuvour. Will Esporta Fitness replace the old worn out equipment? How will Esporta Fitness address the Muscle/ bodybuilder men and women who drop and throw weights around and could care less if they hurt someone? Overall I like the experience .

LA Fitness in Maryland has security officers escort out non mask wearers customers are selfish at this gym. As soon as management leaves they take off masks. I blame headquarters for inadequate monitoring of selfish guest panting without masks. That's so extra and hazardous

I signed up for an account a couple weeks ago and suddenly my account has been cancelled the front desk clerk tells me. It’s past 3pm so no one is working who can reinstate me or resolve the issue. Therefore, I am not allowed to enter the gym. Yet, I’m still paying for the membership. Either change your policy or give your employees more access to fix issues within your system when management isn’t around. This simply should not happen

I love this location & their group exercise classes! Alorna, Shina, Tonya and Blake are the best instructors ever! Tonya R. is the bomb and offers a variety of great work outs! Shina R. adds new exercises every Saturday, she even brings the exercise balls or weights from the other side of the Gym, if needed, and shows us new stuff every time! She makes it hard, adds variety to it and makes it interesting, just goes extra mile to make sure we get good work out! We need more Power Circuit classes at this location on Mondays at least!

They only have one person who does sign ups it seems, made an appointment with someone to give a tour, got there 5 mins early for the scheduled tour. The guy already took someone else 2 minutes after I got there. When he noticed I left after waiting around past the time that was already agreed on, he called me and then got very upset I left and then hung up on me. Very unprofessional and made me not want to join this gym. Hey LA fitness maybe hire more employees seeesh

Having tried several different fitness clubs around the area, I find LA Fitness to be one of the best. ARC Trainers, Hammer Strength MTS and plate load machines, etc. Friendly staff, never overly busy. Only real downside would be the weekend hours, which could be better.

I travel for a living and have a gym membership in every location. The equipment here isn't the newest and the weight area could use some more space, however the staff seem more inviting (unlike the larger newer one)

I have a membership here. While the equipment is not the newest it works the staff is awesome. The personal training is great pending on who you are assigned to. I have no complaints great place to start your fitness journey.

They dont keep up the equipment at either location here in Baton Rouge. I went to the one in Austin, and it has been open a year and a half and all of their equipment is in better condition than BR's was after 6 months. Staff doesnt discipline any of the slobs and meatheads that workout here. Allow people to personalize the lockers, on and on - poorly managed.

This use to be a BALLYS FITNESS, they cost a LOT OF MONEY to build and keep up. Bally's could not sign up enough people I suspect because a lot of people signed with them in other towns and were charged the total membership and had their credit slammed by these people. See I got homeless and could not turn off my membership you don't plan to be homeless it just happens to you you are in bed sleeping your wife wakes you up cops say she wants you gone and you have to leave. That was it I was injured could not walk and I was homeless. They slammed enough people with these credit dings where they could not sign people under the Bally name so I guess they said lets try this name? LA fitness. Well now that I hear the business model reminds me of what they did me. They charged me the full membership charge not $99 sure wish they had just tried to ding my credit for a $99 charge rather than a few thousand dollars? TOO GREEDY they know I did not go to the club any more I had no place to live but Bally saw fit to ding my credit for thousands WOW kick a man when he is down PLEASE the rest of the world does.

My son is working in Baton Rouge for the Summer and asked for a two month access to the facility, THEY LIED and MISLED him, saying he could pay first and last only and then cancel because an LA Fitness didn't exist where he lives full time. But they are charging $99 cancellation fee anyway for 36 month contract. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy!! I see a class action lawsuit brewing against these crooks!

They are liars and crooks. Had an employee sign me up, feed me a line of crap about paying first and last month, pay month to month with NO contract. I go to close my account and I'm told I signed for 36 months (which IS a contract) after advertising and being told there is NO contract. I was also told I would have to pay a 99$ cancellation fee l which when asked about that at signing up, I was told no fee because there's no contract. Now all of a sudden, this employee that signed me up no longer works there and apparently several members encountered this same problem. Anyone joining, beware. They lie and have hidden fees. I would never join again and will warn friends and friends of friends about this place.

Good and clean, basic amenities - some free weights and machines and lots of stuff for cardio - lots of windows in workout area - bathrooms are good and clean. They also have a steam room and a few free classes. I'm waiting for the new one to open on seigen - dry sauna, steam room, pool, etc etc.
