BEDT YOGA EVER!! It’s hot … great tunes… no pressure, especially with the dark room! Infrared heat also means you really sweat out the toxins. The teachers are all top notch also!!

A fantastic yoga experience! The music was a vibe, the lighting was low and calming, and the instructor got straight to the practice without any unnecessary distractions. The class was hot, challenging, and exactly what I was looking for in a great workout. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this studio to my friends!

Interesting non-traditional yoga class! I took the Fire60 class which is a heated, flow class with upbeat vibes. Be warned that there's very little emphasis on breathwork or proper technique/postures.
I do agree with some of the other reviewers on some of the concerns here:
1. If you're a beginner at yoga, this may not be the best for learning fundamentals. There's minimal cueing for breathing or full/partial expression of poses.
2. The room is VERY dark, there's no mirror in the front, and the yoga mats provided (free!) are black, which means I was basically doing warrior 3 blindfolded. Fun challenge, but maybe not for beginners.
3. At the end of class, we took a very short shavasana, and then everybody just started leaving abruptly. Not complaining since I do like efficiency, but maybe not the most traditional way to close off a yoga practice.
4. The music is upbeat and the bass is pretty strong. I didn't have an issue hearing the instructor since I was up front and she used a microphone, but the music stays upbeat even during the resting poses at the end.
5. The floor outside the actual studio is concrete which may be a bit chilly on the feet.
On the positive side, there's plenty of space in the big room. Also, the first-time class is a great deal, and they gave a free rental mat + towel!
I was always curious how a yoga class with EDM would work and I don't regret the experience. Just be aware that it's not a traditional yoga class.

Fire Flow is a space, which invigorates, calms, restores, challenges & transforms. I can show up in any mood and get what I need from the music, heat, especially the dark & of course the flow. My body has never felt this strong from any exercise routine or practice; and even more, my mind - body connection is reset regularly in ways I have not been able to previously achieve. Regular Fire Flow has me feeling my best self!

I don’t often leave reviews but this feels important. The studio is very dark and the instructor started by saying she hoped she didn’t step on us in the dark. It made for a very uncomfortable start to class. The darkness also made flowing and especially balancing unnecessarily difficult. The music was very upbeat and loud which didn’t match the flow or the instructors voice. The flow was clunky and unbalanced. The instructor offered no cues and just called poses. It says it’s for beginners and I think beginners would be very lost. I’m posting this just so others know what to expect. If you are looking for a workout and wanting to leave with a healthy nervous system, this won’t be it.

By far my favorite yoga studio. I found Fire Flow while traveling for work and quickly made it a stop every time I was in New Orleans. Now that I live here I go whenever I can. It is dark, warm, and electric, which may not be for everyone. I always leave feeling fully refreshed. You get a reset of your mind and body like a more traditional yoga class, with the added benefit of a solid workout and pretty hefty sweat. Everyone that works there is incredibly nice and helpful. They helped me plan the perfect private class for the morning of my wedding! The membership is a great deal, highly recommend. If your traveling try it out. It may be so good you’ll move across the country!

Above and beyond. I like the fact that the lights in the room are dim. They offer a cold lavender rag, which is good and brings the body temperature to equilibrium.

I want to like this place more. It is definitely a "cool" idea with the darkness, neon lights, music, and bass... but in practice it just misses the mark.
Ultimately, the music made it difficult to hear the instructor so I had to rely on visual cues which didn't work so well because it was dark.

Awesome awesome awesome
Not traditional and exactly what we needed that day
They were able to accommodate our out-of-town crew and we were blown away by the cool vibe but hot yoga... sincerely challenging but appropriate. Mental toughness exercised along with the physical.
Will sign up for a class everytime I'm in NOLA.

Very dark during class, know this makes balancing and alignment much harder. The flow was clunky and very fast, and I’m not new to heated power vinyasas. Instructor yells to hype up class and be heard over the energetic music, which was jolting more than motivational in my experience. Three stars because it’s possible that people love this place and it’s just not my thing, but i felt that it should be made more aware how dark the space and aggressive the hyping is. Shower was lovely!

The yoga happens in the dark, with a dim red led strip at the front of the room. So the instructor can't see if you're doing the poses correctly, and the only way to see the pose is to look to the front of the room. Also apparently, it's really hard for me to balance when I can't see the ground, so I felt almost like I had vertigo once or twice. The poses that were repeated over and over put a lot of pressure on the knee-- like a lunge, with torso lifted, resting all your weight on one knee. There wasn't much of a warm-up; the first pose was pyramid, which I personally need a little build-up to. The instructor made no distinction between warrior one and two (I mean if she did, I couldn't see it in the darkness). The music was super loud, and the instructor didn't have a microphone, so she was yelling over the noise. Between the heat, the dark, the red light, the overwhelming music, and the shouting, it was the first yoga class I ever almost walked out of. It felt like a stretching session for runners, not yoga. People were rolling up their mats during the "final rest." This is the only type of class they offer. Perfectly nice staff and cool facility, just not at all what I was looking for.

Great experience all around! Beautiful, welcoming, clean facility with all the amenities. Practice space has such a fun vibe. Plenty of room to spread out. Wonderful instruction! Felt like a million bucks afterward. Can’t wait to return.

This is a really cool yoga studio, it definitely feels higher end. The lighting and heat is done very well, the design on the wall behind the teacher is super cool, and one thing I absolutely loved were the guides for mat placement. Nothing is worse, especially in a hot yoga class, when they over crowd the yoga class so you don't have enough space, and Fire Flow's design simply doesn't allow for this. I also think its a really good intro to Hot Yoga, at least the flow I did. You certainly would want to know some basic poses, but the teacher doesn't take you through so many high cardio flows that you are gasping for breath... the only thing I'd mention as a con, which isn't a con for me, is that this is quite far from traditional yoga, and much closer to a yoga inspired workout. The hip hop and electronic music will get you moving but it will not feel like a spiritual practice, which is ok with me, but good to know if that's what you're looking for. I'll definitely be back!

This place is incredible!
I’ll never go back to traditional yoga. I love the atmosphere at Fire Flow: It’s hot, but not a sauna, dark (why does that feel so great?!), no mirrors, high ceilings, immaculately clean, plenty of personal space (🙌), great music, and it’s a workout! Caitlin and Allison are amazing! LOVE FIRE FLOW!!! 🔥 ❤️
