I quit this place when Genesis took over. Dont miss it at all. Equipment was in very poor condition and never repaired, and the staff did nothing to correct/stop people from 'saving' equipment and sitting while looking on their phones.

I have worked out down the street at Planet Fitness for a few years now and found the gym overcrowded and full of high school kids using their promotional summer pass. So I went to Genesis to look into switching to their gym. I was so impressed with how clean the facility was at first sight, all the equipment (two floors) and how friendly the staff is. I was able to speak with their manager, Matt - who has been working for that very same gym for over 10 years now (which is always a great sign). Matt was passionate about this gym, it's new management and all the upcoming improvements and upgrades planned in late 2025-2026. He quickly sold me on a membership and tour. Millions of dollars are going to be invested in making an already great gym even more so. Genesis has no competitor in at least a several mile radius when it comes to quality and reasonable pricing for a membership. I left touring the facility and truly was reminded what my old man always says - you get what you pay for. I'm kicking myself for staying at Planet Fitness so long when such an upgrade at Genesis exist right down the street. I feel like I have been paying raw meat prices for canned beans at Planet Fitness only to switch to Genesis and pay comparable prices but get so much more back. Go in and ask for Matt, you will not be disappointed. Having worked out at gyms regularly for 20+ years in many states and being a former athlete, I can tell you this gym is gem for the local area - with tenured staff who love what they do and want to make the customers feel valued and cared for - awesome gym and experience.

Genesis has made some strides in customer service as well as some improvements to the club that Esporta was not addressing. There is still some work to do and I'm disappointed they have apparently locked up the unisex bathroom in the hallway for what reason I don't know. They got the pool heaters working again which was my main reason for going here. Esporta was dragging their feet on that one, so kudos to Genesis for that!

Came here for YEARS since it was an LA Fitness and then Esporta. Never had any issues with my insurance gym membership program. When they switched to Genesis they initially honored that and let me continue to attend, then suddenly a week later decided to terminate all members with those programs. They then proceeded to offer me a wonderful “deal” for $55 a month. LOL.
This gym is overpriced and under maintained. Please don’t come here. Seriously.

My wife and I are enjoying the Genesis Health Club (formally Esporta). We met with Matt the day after the transtion to Genesis and even with everything going on he took time to show us around, discuss the classes and other amenities. We're in the Silver Sneakers program and Matt made the entire process of signing up simple and inviting. We scheduled appointments with Ahmed (Fitness Professional) to set up initial exercise routines and he was great. All of the staff have been friendly and helpful. We're very pleased with the equipment, pool, sauna and classes, and with the overall atmosphere. Stphen Lee

The staff is completely rude the gym just transitioned from esports to genesis and they are not making it easy for pll that have been operating at the location. The manager told me I had to leave the gym when coming to visit a friend with a active esporta membership. Taking my coins to crunch and one that sees this should do the same
