The gym has gone downhill DRASTICALLY in the past year. Management is non-existent. Equipment is outdated. Takes forever to fix something. Not a large variety of equipment. Too small for the amount of people they sign up. Good luck getting a decent lift in during week days. It looks like a high school football locker room with the amount of teenagers just taking up space. I HIGHLY SUGGEST not signing up here and going somewhere else. There is little to no positives to this location. Go to a snap or Beach Club Fitness.

Was debating between a four versus five star rating for this gym. I went with five because the equipment and layout of the gym is still solid. They have an exceptional dumbbell rack that goes all the way up to 150 lb. They have virtually any sort of machine that you would want. Good assortment of various cardio machines. Major downsides are that they only have two full function squat racks, rowing machines are functional but ergometer display not working. Probably could use some updating/ renovation. However, overall, I had a several great workouts here.

The nicest gym in the area but the stair master machines (3 of them) have been broken for 3+ years and for whatever reason the owners aren’t committed to having them fixed.

I can't say enough about this place and the staff. 1st off, my home Gold's gym is in TX and it's 4x's the size of this one but what this place lacks in size it makes up for in customer service, cleanliness, and location.

My first encounter was with Nicole who understood that I was in town for business and from a Black level Gold's gym. She extended me a guest pass and showed me around their facility which is filled with everything you need to get an amazing workout in. Christy and Christine also welcomed me with open arms and helped me feel right at home. These three wonderful and cheerful woman alone make this location a very desirable and more than efficient place to workout. You'll enjoy a friendly atmosphere while doing so as well

As far as cleanliness is concerned, I've never been to a gym that works this hard to keep weights put back in place, endless access to towels and disinfectant spray, moping, trash cans emptied and very sanitized restrooms. This gym is definitely worth visiting if you're in Prairieville or surrounding areas.

I strongly recommend this place if you're a hard-core pro or weekend warrior or somewhere in between.

Wonderful gym!!! This gym offers a wide variety of group fitness classes, for all ages and levels. They constantly change up the options to keep your body from plateauing. I also really appreciate the childcare. My children have enjoyed going since they were babies. They truly treat my kids like family. The new management team is truly working hard to improve everything!!! This gym has it all!!

I've been a member since June 2021, I drive from Denham Springs every morning (30 min.) to workout before I go to work, I usually get there between 4:30am-5am; today was the second time the gym wasn't open because nobody showed up to open the doors. POOR MANAGEMENT!

The owner is rarely there, the equipment is Ok but been missing a 25# dumbbell since I joined and nobody I guess is going to replace it. There's a big lack of leg equipment and most of the equipment is outdated. I recently visited north Carolina and went to the Huntersville Gold's gym, WOW..all updated Arsenal Equipment, high quality staff who actually cares, clean environment, big selection of actual Gold's gym apparel and most importantly Punctual! The owner of the gold's in Prairieville, LA should go visit that gym and take a page from it and do some updating!
We pay way too much for a membership for the lack of good equipment, and poor management that we get. Oh and the TV's don't work either!

Anyway if you are ever in NC, go visit the Gold's gym in Huntersville, you'll be Wowed, I hope one our gym gets it's S&%t together!

There are 18 (!!!!!!) ellipticals but only 3 stairmills. 1 of which has been out of order since I moved here two years ago. There is a pretty decent weights selection. There aren’t many choices for gyms around here though so really what can you do.

A great gym as you would expect.
There is plenty of equipment to where you don't usually have to wait for a machine. The free weight section is a little small for a big gym.
There's plenty of machines for cardio .
They also have large bathrooms with lockers and when you're done working out you can get a smoothie.. A big perk for me is that they are now 24/7 !

This is a nice Gold’s, however membership fees are a little higher than other competing gyms in the area. Weights and machines are nice and in pretty good condition. They offer group classes, and also have a functional training room. While I would like to see another squat rack and a deadlift platform, this gym is still solid. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the staff is friendly as well. If you like an empty gym, get in early and avoid the after work rush that begins at about 4pm (though this is true of any gym in America) Overall, a good place to workout!

Not your planet fitness or anytime gym audience here. Most of the people in this gym are serious about what they are doing. I expected them to have more free range squat racks (only 2). The staff are courteous and nice. There's a juice bar and fridge if you want to store something.

Large gym with nice equipment. The gym is organized and spaced out well. The seperate rooms are nice to keep everyone from being on top of each other. I like that the gym offers a variety of classes for begginners to advanced athletes. I also like the fact they have a protien and smoothie shop in the middle of the gym for your convenience. The only downfall I've found and the reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is the small amount of free weights.

I really enjoy this gym. The people who work there are really nice. The manager is a really friendly guy. It's a good facility and the members as a whole seem very nice to me. I'm tempted to take a star off because the sauna is always broken! They need to just invest in the digital timer to keep members happy.

This gym rocks, and the staff are more than willing to help!!!! No snobs, no judges just people with positive attitudes wanting what we all want to live a more healthier, happy lifestyle and live life to its fullest. :)
