Edit: The gym has seen some pretty good changes in the last year. All of the cardio machines work now and while the weight machines are old they work just fine. Changing my review from 2 to 4 stars.
Old Review: Almost all the cardio machines are broken. The other machines have definitely seen better days. 100 lb plates don't get reracked like they are supposed to, so it's your job to figure out how to get them off the machine you want to use.

To put it simply this gym is unclean. The floors are dirty, the equipment is in poor shape, and there are dead bugs and grime everywhere. There are items that have literally been broken for years.

Just wish they had more than one assault bike. Otherwise it is a great gym. Much prefer it to the larger one on the other side of Base

It's nowhere near as busy as the main gym on base. Have almost all the free weights you could want (why are there still no 60s?). I miss the metal weights. People just throw those rubber ones everywhere. Sometimes makes it hard to find what you're looking for. Also, crossfitters normally leave a mess, especially with hand chalk. If there was any accountability for leaving the gym a mess this place would be perfect.

Let's check off the list shall we? 24 hr access, huge central Cross-fit style area with plenty of Rouge hardware, heavy free weight area. Isolation machines (both rack plate style and stacked adjustable selection). Separate machine rooms and cardio rooms. Outside area for flipping tires, pull-ups, etc. Men and Women's bathrooms with showers, lockers, and a handicap accessible bathroom. A brilliant upgrade from the 2d Force Support Squadron. This fitness center is a converted basketball gymnasium renovated a few years back to offset the load of individuals at the SrA Bell Fitness Center. A bit more accessible to residents of the Eastside, this alternative gym offers an air of seclusion and focused energy. Pros: Never too busy, 24 hr access allows for shift workers and the like to take advantage of gym time without everyone crowding in during normal 12 hr days. Huge open area for Cross-fit and heavy weights,. Cons: Bathrooms could use renovating, cardio room lacks central TV functions that the machines are designed for.
