I prefer working out outdoors but if I have to workout indoors I come here. I go EARLY in the mornings and it's always clean. I'm glad that they incorporated the new calf machine. I was getting a bit concerned about the two stalls in the men's restroom being broken for so long but they fixed them.

Tonight I visited this Planet Fitness. Because of my job, I travel and visit many Planet Fitness locations in our country. The staff was very friendly and gave me a warm welcome. They were busy with maintenance and cleaning. I 100% recommend it to those who are undecided; it will be your best investment for your health. Regards.

Gym great and very clean; however, the cell phone policies are not being enforced. Too many people sit on machines and text between sets. This unfairly monopolizes the equipment and is very aggravating to members who want to finish their routines in a timely manner.

Hopefully management will enforce their cell phone usage policies thus resolving the issue.

When I first started coming to this location it was great. Over the weeks I’ve notice the women’s locker room isn’t kept clean, and the showers randomly have cold water only. This morning is the third time I had to take a shower before work and the showers were literally cold, not lukewarm. The first time it happened I brushed it off and went back home before work to shower, the second time I mentioned it to a staff member because now it’s a big inconvenience. She apologized and said she will let the manager know, this time I told the staff member and I got the same reply. I had a 6:30 am meeting and was not able to go home to shower so I had to take a cold shower, after my workout and it was cold outside. I was quite miserable. I would much rather go and pay a membership at a higher end gym because I know it will be clean and have hot showers.

I've noticed that I’m a few pounds lighter and feeling a lot stronger lately, which is an amazing boost! I really appreciate the Planet Fitness location I chose; it's smaller and has a pleasantly low-key atmosphere. The lights are softer, creating a more comfortable environment for me to work out in, which I find really welcoming.

One thing I wish they would improve is the massage chair. It’s currently out of order, and I think it would be fantastic to have it fixed soon. Also, I’d love for the massage sessions to be extended beyond just 10 minutes, as a longer session would really help me relax and recover after my workouts.

I was in town for business and decided to get an early morning workout in at this Planet Fitness. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the front desk guy, Chance. Shoutout to him for bringing that positive energy so early in the morning!

I got in a solid workout and pushed myself harder than usual, adding a few extra sets. But let me tell you, from the moment I walked in, I could smell how fresh the place was. Not a spot of dirt anywhere, from the equipment to the locker room. When I headed into the locker room, the cleanliness really stood out. Even the restroom and shower areas were spotless, which isn’t something you always see.

Throughout my workout, I noticed Chance wasn’t just behind the desk—he was constantly cleaning and making sure everything was in top shape. At one point, while I was peppering to shower, he even came into the restroom/ shower area and politely asked if any personal belongings left behind were mine before removing them and cleaning the floor. I really appreciated that attention to detail.

As someone who travels frequently and tries to stay in shape, having a clean gym with friendly staff is a huge motivator. A big thank you to Chance and the rest of the staff for making this visit such a pleasant experience! Props to management for hiring the right people for this location. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again! This was an A1 Experience at Planet Fitness in Baton Rouge! Salute!!

Rejoin planet fitness the last six months. Their new location on Airline highway near Florida Boulevard exchange is convenient to a lot of people. However, I wish that whoever actually owns the building would resurface the whole parking lot. It is completely pitted with holes. Several attempts of filling in the holes, but with the amount of traffic this location gets they just pop up again and it's like driving through a whack-a-mole course. Don't think I can blame planet fitness themselves for this problem, it's my understanding from talking to the staff that they just lease the building and the owners are responsible for the parking lot. It's a shame, it really takes away from the pleasure of visiting this location.

Oh, and I miss Donald the trainer. I was told that he had moved out of town, but he was super friendly and helpful whenever I had questions and even went out of the way to help fix minor issues with some of the machines when the cables would get snagged so they didn't have to put in a maintenance order which took put in a maintenance order which otherwise would take weeks to get the piece of equipment back in operation. Since Donald left there is a leg lift machine that has been out of service for 2 and 1/2 weeks and no update from the staff as to when it's going to get fixed. That kind of thing didn't go on when Donald was there.

Still, planet fitness is a great place and they keep this location very clean inside which I appreciate.

Love customer service when I come in besides the Manager with her little fro! My husband checked in and worked out and decided to purchase a bottle of water and as he was checking out the manager told him he owed for TWO core chocolate muscle milk from yesterday. Mind you he’s LACTOSE INTOLERANT. He repeatedly told her it wasn’t him but she was adamant it was him and kept saying it was him that purchased it. Before this day he had never purchased anything from Planet Fitness. He told her to run the cameras and check. She did, came back and said it WASN'T him and walked off with no APOLOGY or anything. She’s the ONLY one at that desk that does not speak nor make eye contact because she was completely WRONG! My other concern is men going in the women bathroom not paying attention. I’ve seen at least 3 men going into the women restroom not paying attention or the sign not too much visible walking that way but that need to be fixed. I’m just thankful the time my minor child was in there, I was on the stairmaster and caught him going in. With all of this, I still gave it a 10 because the place is always clean, the other workers are friendly and it’s safe and the men going in the restroom is not the company fault.

It's affordable and effective. The workers are friendly and helpful. They have different plans to choose from, they have a tanning bed, hydromassage, a red light full body workout, they have a regular massage chair with TV, and they have a meditation pod, also they have a personal trainer, for black card members. They also have showers for everyone to use if they want. The machines all have explanations on them to show you how to use them.

The weights are never reracked. The benches are all over the place. Please get some wheeles on the incline bench. Is there reason the benches are not nailed down, so they do not move? I should not have to pick the incline bench up or dragged it around. Also, staff allows individuals to utilize and take up several pieces of equipment at a time. Update: PF needs to find another alternative for cleaning the Hydro-massage. They all smell beyond disgusting; spraying that solution is not cutting it!

I love the new digital screens on machines to keep count of reps. Love Love the Hydro bed and also the new massage chair as well...

my disappointment is the cold water in the showers like what's the point in having showers if you can't comfortably take a warm or hot shower! Now I have to cut my workout short to go home and get ready for work.
This may lead me back to the YMCA, unfortunately.

Biggest complaint is the people that constantly use the 30 minute without room to sit and tie up machines while they do there 3 to 4 sets... when they have areas designed just for that. NO ONE checks on it, and it's frustrating to get knocked out of rhythm in what's supposed to be a continuous circuit training exercise.
