There are peak times and can't get to equipment but I check crowsld meter in app.

Better than the Labarre location. Nice staff, machines are fixed promptly. The peak hours are annoying as it’s mostly high school kids hanging out with no staff to enforce. A good gym to first get into working out or keeping toned. Haven’t had any weird issues with billing and I’ve been a member for 3 years. Do wish it was 24 hours but, you know I don’t really pay the price for a 24 hour gym. If you want that…pay way more and just go to EFC…
TL;DR Staff are nice, nobody is loud, and I look forward to going to this location.

We started going to this location even though it's a longer drive, because the closer one to our house was just too packed!

The vibe at this one is one of the best at the many locations we've been to. The staff is pretty great... they are friendly and welcoming. I mean, in a way that stands out!

Small, hours not suitable if you have work/school. My main issue with Planet Fitness is that even if you have not been using a membership for nearly a year, they will not refund you the hundreds of dollars you have lost to them. Doordash and other companies have completely reimbursed me, while Planet Fitness remains greedy. “It’s in the contract you signed”, well I don’t care to be honest! Change that contract and stop making money off of all the people who move away and can’t cancel their membership (only in person btw) until months later! This place sucks. Go to another gym

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Planet Fitness in River Ridge. The staff members are friendly, welcoming, and helpful on every visit. The cardio equipment was just upgraded, and I have especially enjoyed the new choices. As opposed to some other locations I have visited, all pieces of equipment are in good condition, and we rarely ever see the dreaded "out of order" sign that is sadly too common at some other locations. Whether you choose the very economical membership or upgrade to the Black Club, both choices are well worth the financial investment.

Been going here for a couple of years now and it feels like there is no monitoring of what’s actually happening. The machines are ridiculously dripping wet from the people spraying them down and not wiping them off. People using the same machine for an hour, or taking up two machines with their drink and phone, or just sitting on the machines watching movies on the phone. I always wonder why are there 3-4 employees behind the counter when all they are doing is greeting you upon checkin but are totally oblivious to what’s happening on the floor. Seems to be run by a “silent owner”

The facility is nice but the staff is dismissive and rude. Last night they closed at 10 and the staff just wordlessly turned the lights off and went about their night. This is the only PF in the area that closes at 10pm on week nights. It's super weird.

The staff have the easiest job lol check people in and wipe stuff down. I don't know why they operate with such a stoic attitude. Even though this one is the closest to my house, I'll try to avoid it until there's some staff changes.

All that being said, the equipment is in great shape and the facility is clean. The staff just ruins the vibes. If you don't mind being ignored and treated rudely, definitely come work out here.

There are many things that i like about Planet Fitness. One in particular is they have all quality equipment. And rarely when a piece of equipment does go down, it's usually repaired in a day or so. They also keep the gym nice and cool. In addition, the gym is always clean and fresh; and that includes the men's locker room. The staff is very friendly and they never bother you. I've been work out, in gyms, off and on since the early 1960's and the River Ridge Branch of Planet Fitness is the finest gym I ever had the pleasure to train in.

Went with a friend to try their massage chair and water massage bed.Although it doesn't take the place of a wonderful hands on massage,it it very good for in between getting regular massages.Its not a full service club like Ochsner Fitness Center is since it doesn't offer massage therapy, pools, recreational areas or food court but it does meet the needs of many people that only want to work out with quality weights and aerobic equipment at a cost effective fee. I know a lot of people that are happy with PF as it is convenient to their location, very clean and and they don't have the need or time for the frills. The staff was friendly and helpful. I happen to enjoy both Planet Fitness membership and the full service Health Club for the versatility.

I had a phenomenal experience at this location. In my personal experience this location is far superior to anyone in Kenner Metairie New Orleans or the West Bank. I have been to planet fitness is all over and have never had customer service experience as good as this one. I’d like to personally think Jessica and Crystal for being very thorough with the explanations of the red light therapy and tanning that I was going to be using, their friendly and bubbly energy was extremely refreshing. This location is also far more up-to-date and equipped than every other location that I have been to. 11/10 will be going to this location from now on.

I love planet fitness but this location doesn't fit with most others. The locker room is nice but they probably have way to many lockers for how small the location is. The machines are all old and not up to date. They lack several machines like ones for abs. This last one I hate to do but got to tell the truth. I was on the old style elliptical and before I use a machine I clean it now there were 4 employees at the desk that is directly in front the cleaning station and there were no paper towels I banged on it so they saw it was out. I went to a different one cleaned my machine and spent 90 minutes on it and afterwards went to the same station and still no paper towels while 3 female employees chatted and one male employee was playing basketball. Then I noticed in the red light therapy booth the matt was filthy I go in and clean it after being here 2 days in a row. Also the employees didn't greet me or anything both days. I only came here cause my home gym is getting newer machines for the past 2 days. They need some help over here

I've been a member for almost a year and had 100% great experience every visit. Everything from the staff, to the facility, to the machines, as well as the Black Card perks is awesome. The price is affordable for even those on the tightest budgets and the return on investment is outstanding.

There is a wide variety of machines and free weights. Anyone looking to get and stay fit can afford Planet Fitness and should consider a membership.

The red light therapy, water massage table, massage chairs and more are amazing Black Card perks that would cost hundreds of dollars just for a day at the spa.
