A truly special place and community. I have come to this space periodically as a teacher and a student and I am always inspired by the generosity, compassion, and loving curiosity of the Sama community.

Donation based, lovely yoga classes. They introduced me to rubber yoga mats-game changer! i found a cork one for $35 online, just as good a grip as the rubber mats! Grateful to have experienced this place!

If you are lover of yoga and all things peace and harmony then this is the place to be! The teachers and the community are very welcoming! Here you will experience different types of classes from beginner to advanced and everything in between. It's a donation based community focuses on keeping the studio up and running and don't worry about paying, every class is free! From retreats to having a sit in just to talk. Not to mention, food comes with it. I HIGHLY recommend coming here on the daily. This will be your second home.

I have attended classes here since 2006 and have taught here between 2017 and 2021. I love this place! Just the right amount of space for classes that not only support individual practice but also a community of practice. All of the teachers are dedicated folk who provide donation-based classes that support the studio and yogis who attend them. This selfless service generously makes available yoga, meditation, and study of sacred texts.

Swan River Yoga Arabi is such a wonderful and welcoming studio. They offer a wide variety of classes that accommodate students at all levels and the teachers are all so kind. And one of the best things is the studio is completely donation based! I have loved this space since the minute I walked through the doors.

It's the sweetest studio space with the greatest cohort of dedicated amazing teachers. You can feel the love and intention in the space. It's a seva based, or donation based, studio that remains in service to us through love and dedication. I love getting to this space. The classes are amazing!

Swan River Arabi is a yoga studio for all people. Everyone is welcome here. If you're seeking something more than a place for physical movement, Swan River can also be so much more than a yoga studio. For me, personally, it has provided an inclusive community that has helped strengthen my mind and emotional well-being as well as my physical body. The teachers are all very attentive, thoughtful, and kind. Swan River Arabi is at the top of my list of places I'll miss when I move away from New Orleans.

This is a wonderful space to practice yoga. It is donation based yoga which is very rare to find. I became a member for $20 per month for unlimited classes and many special classes as well. They even offer zoom classes that you can do at home. Love this space!!π

This is wonderful business that does more than its part to bring the healing power of yoga to *anyone* in the community, regardless of past experience or ability to pay. I've been practicing for many years, and come to Swan River Yoga Arabi for a consistent experience of quality, welcoming classes, and would recommend this business to anyone trying yoga for the first time or seeking to deepen their practice.

very welcoming space with lots of windows. Sara is a friendly instructor and made me feel welcome from just walking in. great slow(er) but not slow flow that was great to warm the body and work out the muscles after my weekend 10K race. I was a bit sore and had to take a few short breaks but thoroughly enjoyed the class and hope to get back again soon even though its tough for me at 10:30 AM. Definetely another studio I will try to return to soon as able. thanls for the class :)

This small studio is a Love offering to the community. They offer donation only Yoga classes daily, never even asking for a donation. Eight years later here they still are, an island of Peace in the roiling sea. Stop by for a yoga class, meditation, Kirtan or even a retreat.
