I enjoyed working out at the YMCA in the Shreveport Bossier area. All the trainers were great. I used your facility to participate in half marathons and 5k’s through sports spectrum. I even utilized your services to run the Rock N Roll Run series in Nashville Tennessee. All that benefits st Jude children’s hospital. I have participated in your spin classes and even took the onboarding class for cross fit at the lash family ymca location when it opened. I recently had to cancel due to relocation and getting a new job. I originally was at Rad Tech at ochsner lsu health Shreveport but have now accepted a job at Willis knighton health system. I enjoy being a part of the Shreveport and bossier community. The facility was always clean and well maintained. The staff was great and used excellent customer service. I even worked out on my birthday and they the time to acknowledge me. I would definitely recommend the YMCA for anybody’s fitness needs. Keep up the great work.

There aren't that many machines and free weights. Plenty of cardio machines. The pool is great and they offer child care to let you work out.

I wanted to love it. The pool is great so are the classes. But the childcare. My kids are homeschooled so if I want to work out I figured I'd put them in childwatch, they only do up to age 7, fine no biggie. My little girl told me that one of the employees spoke mean to my toddler. A couple times they've brought my baby to me saying he's hungry when he wasn't. Plus everytime I walk by the room the ladies are staring at their phones and have the littles infront of a screen as well. I'm just wary to put them in there now and I have no other way I could bring all my kids. A shame really.

It's a nice, new gym. They used to keep it very clean, but the new management seem to be slacking or something. The place gets old pretty fast. The classes aren't anything special, because the instructors rarely engage in personal interaction or instruction.

It's an all right gym with a lot to offer. But, nothing special.

This YMCA (BHP), formerly the Broadmoor Y, exceeds expectations. The staffers and members are all so very courteous. The facility has tons of activities and group classes. I love the unity that the Y promotes. It’s Christian-based foundation is evident in the youth that I encounter. They are well-mannered, polite, and even grab the door for me! Most recently, we experienced the COVID lockdowns and our club, like all others, had to close. Yesterday, I returned for first visit since reopening. WOW!!! As if it wasn’t clean already, I was blown away by the efforts set forth by management and staff. Every single machine was as shiny and spotless as a flawless sparkling diamond! Every inch of the huge facility smelled so good! There is constant, non-stop, sanitizing and disinfecting. I am so pleased and so proud of our Y!!!

I’ve enjoyed the fitness classes very much. The teachers are very good at explaining the benefits of various exercises.

The pools are very nice. My grandchildren enjoy the two smaller pools. I’ve enjoyed the water aerobics classes, as well as the lap pool.

BHP was a great corporate citizen when they gave their support to the YMCA. BHP YMCA is a great asset in our city.
