If you sign up plan on having the membership forever, I've been trying to cancel my membership for 5 months and the owner just rushes me off the phone and doesn't actually cancel my membership. This is also the most disgusting gym I've ever been in, I dont think it's ever been cleaned. The bathrooms are absolutely repulsive, I go across the street and use the McDonalds bathroom, and that's saying something. The entire gym reeks of BO and sweat, and I wouldn't recommend letting your skin touch any of the equipment. The ceiling is covered in water damage and mold, and every light in the gym is filled with dead bugs.

Update: its been 7 months of trying to cancel my membership, the owner just rushes me off the phone and keeps billing me. Had to request a new card number from chase so I dont have to dispute the charge every month. Terrible business practices here.

Who ever answered the phones is incredibly rude and need to work on her customer service skills a bit. Called about a applying there and she gave me a bunch of attitude about how it's a private gym. It doesn't say that anywhere on Google so how would I know? The other private gym down town states that they're a private gym this one doesn't so she shouldn't be giving me any attitude about something I didn't know.

Complete 180 from what it was a few years ago. It’s got a fresh paint job inside, nice and bright and clean. Badass equipment and well organized. 24/7 access with door code and only $35 a month. And even the music is better!

Horrible gym owner, she ignored any discrepancy involved in her business. Charged for 10months of billing after asking to have my membership terminated. Then when I confronted the issue she just ignores. She is very unprofessional.

Clean, safe environment that I highly recommend. It is a place where safety, hygiene and respect are number one. An amazing amount of machines and options. Questions/comments/support - the owners are right there to make sure you are safe, succeed and have a place that you just want to come to. Can't recommend more highly - and this was coming from a short time ago when I joined and thought I was way out of my league. I couldn't have been more wrong! A huge thank you to Mike & co at Brickhouse and the great people that view this as "their house". :)

This is the best gym in Sanford in my opinion. If you are interested in lifting weights and making gains, there's a lot here for you. Trainers are available most days, and the other gym members are very friendly. There is more than enough equipment to go around, including CrossFit stuff like tires, ropes, and sleds. Brickhouse works well for me because it's open 24 hours.
