If you're not sure what to do following physical therapy or an injury, this is the place for you. I've had the privilege of working with Michael and Casey, and both are amazing. They are both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They always have modifications or substitutions ready, never making me feel unsupported. They coordinate well with doctors or PT, and build programs that are safe and even fun. I still hate pushups though.

I signed up for personal training with Michael at Foundation Fitness last year to kick start my quest to get in shape. 9 months later, I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only have I lost weight while putting on muscle, Michael tailored our workouts to account for my specific injuries and goals. Today I visited the new Severna Park branch of Foundation Fitness gyms.It consists of a spacious, well-lit room with windows on two sides containing a growing collection of exercise equipment. This branch is the studio of Michael Labs, who is the personal trainer of a growing list of clients there.
Michael creates his workout sessions to the individual needs, abilities and goals of his clients and has a large repertory of exercises to fit. Having worked with Michael for several months, I find him to be one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know, and I look forward to every session with him. Over this period he has greatly improved my strength and balance.
