Much more spacious compared to the Rosedale location, but the cleanliness is a little iffy at times esp. the equipment. A lot of the members use the equipment and don't even bother to wipe it off. So gross. Also, I think they need to ditch some of the ellipticals and add more Stairmasters

He takes his time and is so patient with his clients!! It would be great if there was anyway to dim the lights in the personal training area… They are so intense and very hot. You cannot lay on the mat without the light burning your eyes.

Terrible customer service. Won't answer more extensive billing questions, nor provide a better contact, nor provide a name of the current person you're speaking to so you're forced to drive all the way there just look at the name tag and then ultimately decide to cancel and go to Golds because is it really even worth staying at that point? During the summer, the Mondawmin location is overrun with teenagers b/c they’re given free access which is nice, in theory. Paying adults, are thrust in the middle of a non-stop gym class without any supervision (can not expect $16/hr Employee to control situation), the locker room is a loud hangout, equipment is broken from aggressive use or occupied by a teen staring at their phone. It is thoroughly unpleasant.

It's clean and the people are pretty nice. Someone was taking pictures of other people in the yellow section and I get its a public space that makes things really uncomfortable. I reached out to one of the people at the front desk and they went to check that area. I don't know, I just appreciated that. I'll keep going to this one.

I've been a member of PF for over 10 years and have always given a 5 star rating. In the last few weeks I have encountered problems around 11 am with the availability of the equipment because people are spending 20 minutes on their phone, using multiple machines at the same time while securing the area with their car keys and garden gloves. I brought this to the attention of staff on two occasions and nothing was done. I will adjust my workout schedule to around 2 p.m. in hopes that I will not encounter the problem anymore. I have to wonder how many memberships you lose because people can't get on the machines.

Overall a good place except for Jimmy vagneir. I canceled 4 days before my no contract was up. They tried charging my card the next day after I canceled even though the document they sent me says 16th if applicable (which it wouldn't be) but this man committed fraud and set the cancellation day as the day I get charged. On top of that, because I didn't have money on that card (it's my cash app and I only keep money on it when I need to use it) they charged me a late fee on the 20th. So I like the gym itself but Jimmy Vagneir needs to be fired and promptly taken to court for the fraudulent act.

Note: After reading the entire user agreement, policies of both workers and gym members. He has violated the Maryland Consumer Protection Act (MCPA) Along with the breaking of company rules and policies along with their "code of ethics".

Regarding the hydro massage, the bed smelled like dirty clothes and sweat. It was my first experience using one of those beds, it was a nice 10 minute massage. Turns out people install the planet fitness app in each other's phone. Turns out, one person buys a membership and installs it in all the phones of the people living in Dundalk. Unfortunately, when I checked in using the planet fitness app barcode in my phone, the guy at the front desk said I wasn't the guy in the picture ( Sir, I signed up for a planet membership a week ago and I don't look like one week ago? ). I signed up for the black card membership (in Baltimore) which allows me to visit any location in the US, but the Dundalk employee pointed out that Gym wasn't the home location I was supposed to visit, so you don't even know what the benefits of the black card membership are ? There's only a few memberships to learn, it's your job to know about them, it's not rocket science. You just sit behind the front desk playing with your phone all day long? I checked in with my barcode and used the gym, because I do have membership. The employee called the cops saying I didn't check in at all, I checked in a second time in front of the cops and a couple of PF employees, and everyone realized it was my membership. But I must have hurt someone's feelings. They canceled my my membership. Oh well, bye bye planet fitness, hello Gold's Gym ☺️. Talk about judgment zone, the employees here harassing customers who buy the best membership, what a royal treatment. With a black card membership, I can even bring a guest, can't I? Well, it's not even useful to bring myself into this facility. I'm sure planet fitness is a fine company, but the employees manners and customer service skills are just unacceptable. Yes, some of the employees are actually super nice, friendly and helpful if you ask something ( one day I asked if someone could help me find a carabiner clip). The employee I came across yesterday was the worst of the worst. Yes, U, the guy with afro hair 🤮. My membership lasted like 2 weeks 👋.

I was told I would receive a refund for my June membership fee, and annual fee, which was billed after I cancelled my membership. I have been told several times by GM Tavon I would receive this money… I have not. I would like to speak with a Regional Manager prior to processing any refund. Up until tonight, as in a few mins ago, this was my secondary gym, being my home planet fitness is in Waldorf. I used this gym while I'm in my tractor otr doing loads with Amazon. I can work out, take a shower and everything is ok. But, a few mins ago, I get threatened to have my tractor towed, even though I told the tow trk dude, I'm going in the gym and leaving after. He didn't care and told me if I go in, he's towing my trk. So now I have no place to workout while up here in Baltimore and have to wait until my day off to go home and workout. This sucks and I'm not too happy about it. Considering closing my account all together. What's the point of the black card, if you can't use it, because of the vehicle your in. Note, I'm bobtailed, no trailer .

We love to work out on various machines and use the Hydro Massage if they are even Working 😫 UGH , sometimes younger groups of kids that are there and acting very immature and never attended by an adult, example I was in a bathroom stall and a group of kids joking around and laughing threw sink water into the stall and I got wet, not so funny I reported it to the front desk and I believe they were approached by a Employee other than that incident all is good,the staff are all friendly and very helpful.

I go there during over night hours when it's not too busy. As a result I am able to observe the cleanliness of the building and equipment. As the result of another post I payed special attention to some areas. As to "dust bunnies" in the tanning rooms I checked didn't see one bunny ( it was Easter so they may have had plans elsewhere) but seriously I have never noticed anything out of the ordinary

The equipment is okay. But the tanning bed rooms are absolutely DISGUSTING! Dust bunnies everywhere, floor are horribly filthy. They pay zero mind to the cleanliness overall at this location. Half the cleaner bottle nozzles are broken too which then leaks out tons of cleaner onto the floor. Half the time the front desk girls are around the corner visiting and talking or on their phones so you gotta go get them for the tanning or the massage chairs.

This location okay, but the lighting inside is too dim for my liking. If you like a semi dark, calm gym atmosphere this location is for you. I'm not a fan by how they crammed the smithsmachines into a corner, especially right near the entrance, it felt very claustrophobic. The original equipment they had was 10 times better than the new equipment they have now.

I went in for my workout today it's now 10a.m and there is a palet at the bathroom entrance filled with supplies yet I report to desk that they need toilet paper in the men's room in which they Only have 2 stalls yet I waited for the 1 stall to become available for about 8 minutes interfering with my workout just for the (4) GENTLEMAN STAFF to continue to stand at the desk without fulfilling the bathroom duties. No excuses! Highly unacceptable I left due to not being able to use bathroom and complete my workout 🤬THANKS DUNDALK!!!
