I was recently informed by a friend that a trainer at this location was not professional or respectful to him/his wife and of the people who are also paying to use the same areas of the gym that he needs for his classes. This is a disgrace to the PF name and the members who come there for what should otherwise be a "Judgement Free Zone". I really don't like rude customer service or lack of basic respect towards others. PF please fix this ASAP, your community deserves better!

While this gym location is otherwise satisfactory, the behavior of one particular trainer is unacceptable. He is rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. He repeatedly forces members to leave the 360 area for his training, even when they were using the space beforehand. His method is highly aggressive. He needs to improve his manners and learn to communicate with people in a normal, respectful manner, rather than with an intimidating and bullying tone. This behavior has occurred with me on multiple occasions and I have also witnessed it happening to other gym members. He creates a very unwelcoming atmosphere. In all my years of visiting various Planet Fitness locations across different states, I have never experienced such poor conduct from an employee. The rest of the staff at this location is very helpful and welcoming.

I've been a member for years, I pull up on a Saturday at around 6:30am and the doors are still locked. Online it says they're supposed to be open at 6 am. Several others were just sitting in their cars waiting, and some just gave up and left. If they don't really open at 6am they should really change the time online.

Gym is fine, clean, friendly people. Certainly not enough free weights and benches. 4 smith machines. There is only one wall with mirrors, none in front of the smith machines. Wish there were more to focus on form and avoid injury. An abundance of cardio equipment. If you are just starting with your gym journey, this is the place for you. Easy to use equipment, not intimidating.

They call it the no judgment zone. I found it it was no helpful zone. I was never showing around completely was never shown to have any of the equipment was to be used and of course if you use it incorrectly it can do more harm than good. And I had asked to be shown a couple times and they pointed in that direction told me about it Never showed me. I canceled my membership.

I've been a PF member for 13 yrs and have been to a dozen locations in MD. This is one of the bigger PF gym's with plenty of equipment and room in between machines! If you go during the week at peak hours (early morning or early evening) yes, it will be crowded (just like every other gym), but I've never had to wait for a treadmill! Just some other machines, front benches, cables or Smith machine.

You can check the crowd meter on the app if you want to go when it isn't as crowded. If you don't want to go when it's the busiest I would stay away M-F between ~4-6pm and go at a different time!

I love it there! I’ve gotten gym memberships in the past and I’d go here and there but never stick with it!! At planet fitness, I go at least 3 times a week. The staff is great, it’s never super crowded and I feel good!! I love it

Down 47.7 Lbs since July. Planet fitness did not make me lose the weight. 99.9% of my weight loss came from individual effort to change my perspective on life, health, and wellness. Planet fitness provided a venue for me to work on health and wellness! Regardless of what facility that you attend, if you do not put in the sustained effort over an extended period of time, you're just wasting your time and money. Im not judging just being honest...I am still a 300 pounder....but 323lbs is better than 371lbs. Im telling you that weight lost literally begins between your ears!
.....Crazy part is that I just opened this up to leave a review and realized that I didn't hit send earlier this year. At the time I weighed 323lbs....but in August 2024 I weighed 330lbs. When I had my hip replacement surgery on Nov 11t, 2024 I weighed in at 292lbs

Absolutely love this place!! The gym is large and has plenty of equipment, the place is well maintained, but the best part are the staff. The evening staff are incredibly kind and helpful! They keep the equipment very clean & have always been great when I needed help or had a question. I love my local PF! Joe and Danny are the best in the mornings to make an early workout more fun. The equipment is in good condition; the building is clean; bathrooms are in good order-I have never used the showers-the sanitizer spray is always full and nearby; I could go on. I have never used the black card perks besides the guest. Even the other staff whose names I don't know because they work sub shifts or alternate weekends are pleasant and friendly.It's a great gym!

I live by Bowie so I usually go to the one by that one but this one is very nice. The bathrooms have always been clean. Even the water dispenser is better because it doesn't take forever to fill your water bottle. The cleaning stations are between because they use something that you can pull out the paper towel instead of something that has a mechanical part that can just break from constant use. It is also nice it is not migraine bright there either.

I love the gym but the trainer needs an attitude check. As someone not from the area I did not feel welcomed. Very clicky atmosphere. All I wanted was a barbell and he got angry I needed to grab one since he was doing a class, very rudely hitting my arm saying “you gotta go in teaching a class.”

I was hoping to get a good workout at the gym, but it just felt awkward. I kept getting stared at and feeling uneasy. Keep in mind that I'm a guy, not even a big guy or anything like that. I just felt like I wasn't welcome there. While they had all the right equipment, everything felt cluttered and sparse at the same time. It didn't feel like a good gym. And let's face it, this is what you would expect from a $10 a month gym. The lights were too dim as well as well. I feel like they can organize just a little better.

I’ve been coming to this gym since September and I’ve never had an issue with any service or anyone working here but today I came during the morning shift for the first time so I could use the tanning bed and the guy who is bald is extremely rude in every way. For starters he was messing with me in the most serious and unfunny way where he said I had to have a tan card and my black card didn’t matter and I was like um… then said he was kidding with no insinuation he was telling a joke, and then he did it again when I requested a specific bed and said I couldn’t do that… I can handle humor lol but this was just frustrating at this point and I always have my eye wear on me but switched purses this morning because my zipper was broken and forgot it, but I’ve never been asked about my eye wear before. I’ve tanned at multiple PF’s and this one many times and it’s never been an issue. He was rude about it and said I could buy a pair so I was going to but then said he can’t accept cash and insisted trying my card on file but wouldn’t listen when I said my card is cancelled bc I lost it and I’m waiting on my new one. He was just an overall rude douchebag and I understand the eye wear rule but if he wasn’t just repulsive from the jump the interaction would’ve went better but it’s like he wanted to piss me off because he has nothing better to do
