My son started going for the summer camp and the experience has been wonderful everyone is very caring and nice I don't understand the low reviews. For my personal experience and my 4 years old son everything is super at the little gym. I would recommend every parent and I'm a planning prek registration 🎉

I signed my son up for a summer camp on their website. They charged my card and sent a receipt, but the camp did not exist. They were closed the Monday camp was scheduled to start. I called early Tuesday morning and sent multiple emails. They have yet to correct the issue and give me my money back. I’ve spoken to the receptionist who promises that the owner will call me back. The owner never calls. They have my money but my son was not able to attend this mythical camp.

Please be careful when signing up for anything at this business. It seems they will take your money and not offer the service. I would not have expected this from any business especially one that is a franchise.

I actually really enjoyed the classes when I went with my kids. The problem I have had is I scheduled a new class but canceled a few days before because I had an injury. The person I spoke to said no problem they would hold the account and I wouldn't be charged. Hadn't gone in and signed any sort of renewal or new consent . We were going to discuss payment on the day of the class AS i was going to pay up front for the session. A few weeks later I got charged on my account on a card they used to hold my place in class..I reached out via phone Text phone and email. Got an email back saying they would look into it and it's been a few weeks and no one has responded to me for weeks... if I hadn't had this issue I would have returned once my injury was better...but now I'll go elsewhere.

Update: still no response . I have now filed with my bank to ensure no more charges occur ..

Slightly scammy. Recommend only paying one month at a time.

I paid for 6 months of classes, because there was a slight discount. After 6 months, when I said we were stopping classes, the owner said that I wasn't allowed to cancel "early," and made me pay the original amount in full. I didn't sign papers that said anything like that. It's too bad, because the owner was very friendly and a great teacher. Loved kids. But the experience of stopping classes felt dishonest and left a bad taste.

Wednesdays became my favorite days to spend with my baby since we started at the Little Gym.
I was a nanny and Au Pair before becoming a mother and I used to take the kids I nannied to the Little gym and that is how I met the place. Over the years everything at this place got even better and I see the owner giving 100% of her to give us and our kids the best experience! My baby is only 10 months, we do the Bugs class and he absolutely loves this place! It’s fun for him, for me and also a bonding time for the both of us. Not even getting into details about how much it has helped him improve his development and growth. I would and do recommend this place in a heartbeat and I am never taking my kid from these classes! :) 🌸

I cannot say enough good things about The Little Gym of Frederick and the owner, Tiffany. My son began attending classes when he was just 8 months old and, as a new mom, the parent-child classes were a great way to bond with my baby while getting to interact with other parents. From the day we started classes, Tiffany made a point of getting to know my son and giving him individual attention. She is just amazing at striking the right balance between meeting my sometimes-hesitant child where he is and knowing when he needs to be pushed out of his comfort zone a little. I love seeing the pride in his eyes when he achieves something he didn't think he could do - like the first time he climbed the rock climbing wall on his own! After Covid arrived, my son was heartbroken about not being able to go to the gym . . . but then Tiffany created the most amazing interactive virtual programming. The virtual classes were the best source of consistency and normalcy for my now 3.5 year old and were an absolute gift throughout this time period. My daughter, who just turned 16 months, started the virtual classes at just 5 months old and they gave us the chance to have a special activity even with so much closed because of the pandemic. Even over the computer, I have gotten to see her learn to socialize with other babies and she lights up when she sees her teacher come on screen . . . I can't wait to be able to take her to in-person classes as soon as that is an option. Finally, a few weeks ago I realized that, after a year of being at home, my son really needed the opportunity to have peer interactions and learn to separate from me. I immediately reached out to Tiffany and she helped my son get started in the Wonderkids preschool program, where he is getting all the attention and support that he needs to be more comfortable in a school setting. Thanks to the many opportunities The Little Gym has provided, I feel confident that when my son begins preschool in the fall, he will thrive. Tiffany has gone above and beyond so many times for my kids and really made a difference in their lives. I had to leave this review because we are so grateful!

This place had potential, we had some good class and some not so good. The last straw is when I tried to cancel my membership during the pandemic. We had let our membership continue even through the gym had closed hoping things would reopen soon. After paying for 2 month of the gym not being open we decided to cancel and was told we still need to provide 30 days notice, so that was another month of we had to pay for nothing.

The concept is good but execution is poor. Classes are hit or miss in terms of when they will be held and how good/engaged the instructor of the day is. Would be worth dealing with at half the price.

We love Little Gym! Our daughter has been enjoying classes since the fall, and everyone is super nice. There isn't much to do with a small baby or toddler, but this is a perfect way to enjoy time with your little one and meet other families in the area. Tiffany and the other instructors are so good with the kids, and I appreciate that they share how or what our child is learning from the activities going on. We also just attended a birthday party there which looked like a professional party planner put it together! Surprise - they do it all and did it well! Keep it up Little Gym!

We love The Little Gym in Frederick! The Owner Tiffany is great and the teachers are wonderful. My son and his cousins look forward to going to gymnastics each week. They are both getting stronger and have so much fun learning to tumble, walk the beam, flip on bars, etc. There are different themes each week, along with extra practice sessions that are included with the fee as well as extras like parties, themed parent’s night out sessions (for an extra fee) preschool and summer camps. We can’t wait to have our next birthday party here as well!! I totally recommend!

We absolutely love The Little Gym. My daughter has been going there for almost a year and she has learned so much. The teachers are loving and so helpful. The owner, Tiffany, is fantastic and really takes time to get to know the kids. The extra events (ex: Christmas party, Valentines Day party) are always well coordinated and fun. I highly recommend classes for anyone who wants their kids to have additional socialization and exercise.

I was excited and nervous going to my little gym of Frederick. Never been to child gym the staff was very welcoming and the parents are very friendly TIFFANY the owner is amazing with the kids we took my 10 month old to participate in the birds class during this class they sang songs, played games , had some mat play and walked on the beam(assisted) they also had parashoot play and bubbles and TIFFANY also taught them how to do front and back rolls my daughter not in daycare so I thought it would be great for her to socialize with kids I think she liked it I do think its a little pricey $80 for the month but I guess you get what you pay for. Other than that I had a great time at my little gym of Frederick first class is free it definitely worth checking out

Recently the instructor that my grandchildren loved was not only fired but bad- mouthed to the kids which is totally inappropriate! The lack of communication is extremely frustrating, the bookkeeping is inadequate and the push to purchase outfits is apparent. The new owners attitude when called out is rude and sarcastic. Had such high hopes a year ago.

My kids love going to the Little Gym of Frederick! The instructors are very nice and the facilities have recently been upgraded. They offer a variety of classes and extracurricular programs that keep kids active and engaged. Often the hardest part of going to the Little Gym is getting my kids to leave at the end. I would highly recommend it!

We started at the Little Gym after attending an open house and meeting Mr. George. My whole family fell in love with him! It was supposed to be 1 weekend class for just a few months. Now, 2 years later, my kids attend several classes a week and I've met some wonderful moms and dads. It's our home away from home!

When looking for a gym for my almost 3 year old twins I heard that this Little Gym had just been taken over by new owners and thought it was worth giving it a try. Tiffany and her staff have exceeded my expectations in every way!
One of my twins started out a clingy and shy little one and once we joined the gym that lasted ONE class. That is because of the amazing teachers they have, Mr. Cody and Mr. George are both energetic, patient and clearly understand how to work with young children.
Tiffany has been awesome to deal with, so much so that in less than 2 months she has become a close friend. My boys LOVE going to gymnastics. I also have two older daughters who expressed they had zero interest in gymnastics and now are begging me to sign them up after they tried out a class.
They have also redone the lobby and the gym. I didn't see it before the renovations but it is clean, bright and safe and the lobby is awesome for both the kids and the adults. I would highly recommend.

My daughter and I absolutely love the little gym. My daugher has so much fun playing with the other childern her age. She is also improving with her developmental and gymnast skills. Went online and signed up for the trial class to see if my kids would like it, have never been to a little gym before. Walked in and nobody is at the front desk. I signed in where it says to sign in. There are about 2 other families in the lobby area. There is a man that opened the door and the two families went in, KEEP IN MIND I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A LITTLE GYM. I have no idea if I'm supposed to go in, if I have to sign something first. Nobody ever came out to talk to me. I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes while my kids played because I felt bad leaving since they already saw all the toys. When someone has never been to a place before and they are not sure what to do if great if someone would SPEAK to them so I could figure out what I'm supposed to do or where I am supposed to be. Needless to say I would never go back again. It's a shame because what the other children were doing looked like fun and I'm sure my kids would have enjoyed it. I've been to other places like Bella Ballerina and they greet you at the door by name. It's a completely disappointing experience.

Are we allowed to give 0 stars?? This place is AWFUL!!! Ok, the instructors are really nice, kind and great with kids but SUSAN is a swindler!! I canceled my membership months ago and I'm still being charged! I've left several voicemails (because she never picks up her phone), went in to see in person - nothing. I'll have to get a new card just to get her to stop charging me. SUSAN IS A CROOK!!!! She will do anything to not refund your money. Won't call back, promise you it'll be refunded soon, etc. But in reality, will keep charging you. At this point, I'm going to BBB to file a report, then the police as this is pure theft. Let me repeat - SUSAN IS A CROOK!!!! SHE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY MONTH AFTER MONTH even if you ask her to cancel your membership. AVOID GIVING SUSAN YOUR CREDIT CARD!!! Did I mention - SUSAN IS A CROOK???

Absolutely horrendous although the staff is very pleasant the Management is Atrocious it took an act of GOD to get a refund from Susan the supposed manager after she informed my wife that due to the billing inconsistencies and us being double charged we would not be charged for this month. To our surprise our account is charged now normally it would be seeming easy to get a refund but no not with this place and the 13minute conversation with the manager/owner who instead of trying to help was more evasive and elusive and not wanting to do anything to retain a customer took the phone call to a new level with accusations of threats and reluctance to return the charges that were fraudulently made ,including spending several minutes being butt hurt about not being the one who bills and its the system .I mean seriously 13minutes of hostility from this person about a erroneous charge that could have been resolved with a good case of customer service instead we got hostility ,elusiveness and reluctance to resolve a issue .Now the rest of the staff awesome the facility awesome MGMT atrocious

First, the instructors at The Little Gym are fantastic. They are great with the kids and are really very enthusiastic. Our issues are with the owners, who charged us for two additional months after we had cancelled our membership. Under normal circumstances this mistake would have been resolved quickly and we would have no complaints. This was not the case, where over the course of the next 6 months I attempted to contact the owner about this issue on multiple occasions (via phone, email, and hand written notes left on the front desk) with a response rarely received. Further, what little information the on-site owner provided me was typically incorrect. For example, the on-site owner told us that our membership and credit card information had been immediately removed from their system after cancellation, and so she was not sure why we were still being charged. Later I found out from the second owner, who manages the sites finances, that in fact this was not the case leading to the multiple charges to the credit card. Despite this explanation, no reimbursement has been received, even after the owners themselves assured us that they would take care of it. After multiple months of this we turned to our last options, contacting the BBB and the franchise itself; with resolution still pending. It's really a shame as the staff are great, but the owners really seemed incompetent at best when it came to handling membership issues, and at worst disingenuous.

My Son has been going here for about 3 weeks now and both him and I are loving it. The owner is amazing, very helpful and letting me know what is best for my son and went above and beyond to help set up his birthday party at the end of this month. Also all the staff is great and loving. I am very impressed with this and so happy I decided to get him signed up
