My new go to for weight training and nutrition! Fits perfectly into my day with early AM hours! Training is served with real knowledge, a smile and plenty of fun.
Since I started at the beginning of September, I have definitely seen my clothes fitting nicer, definitely losing inches as well. (and a little weight too) However, the energy and focus boosts along with my better mood is exhilarating and I’m gaining that increased strength and endurance, I came here for. I am looking forward to more results! Thank you to the is amazing team! 💪🏼❤️

First month in the books and really having a great experience at Big Day! Max, Maria, and Jake lead highly focused and efficient sessions. The variety and tailored workouts are making a difference and Big Day is a very support friendly environment that I am motivated to keep going back too! Looking forward to month two and the Thanksgiving challenge to keep me on track with working out and diet. Highly recommend!

My wife and I joined a few months ago and it has been one of the best decisions we have made. The Duxbury staff is extremely knowledgeable, personable and keeps the workout entertaining. I love the cadence of the class as well as the variety of exercises they implement. Overall I cannot recommend Big Day Fitness enough.

I can't say enough great things about this gym! The trainers here are absolutely fantastic — they're not just knowledgeable, but genuinely invested in your progress and personal growth. They take the time to understand your goals and push you to reach them safely and effectively. One thing that really stands out is how closely they monitor your form during every workout to make sure you're doing each movement correctly and staying injury free. The workouts themselves are challenging, fun, and varied, so you're never bored and always improving. Plus, the facility is brand new, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!

I joined BDF just a couple months ago with the goals of improving my strength, agility, and balance. Within this short amount of time, I can already appreciate the progress I have made. My trainers (Maria, Max, and Jake) are attentive making sure I am using safe proper technique, but also that I am challenging myself. Their enthusiasm is contagious which keeps our small group sessions light-hearted. Big Day Fitness-Duxbury you rock!

The team at Big Day is fabulous. They are very attentive to individual needs while also continuing to push each person to their highest ability. They take the time to truly get to know each person and also work to create a lovely community with the members. Big Day is the best! I used to work out with two close friends but they have since moved away and I really struggled to work out by myself. It just wasn’t fun anymore and I didn’t like going to the gym without a workout buddy. But then I started coming here and instantly loved it. The small training group quickly became my workout community and I look forward to my weekly sessions! The circuit training makes the workout go quickly and the trainers are great about making sure you work a little bit harder each time so you’re always getting stronger but not overexerting yourself. Big Day Fitness is exactly what I was looking for in a gym and I’m so glad they opened one here in Duxbury!

If you’re age 40+, this place is for you! I met Maria a little over a year ago when my family and I first moved to Duxbury and immediately fell in love with the Big Day Fitness concept. At the time, the gym was based in Norwell only, and with my busy family and work schedule, I just couldn’t add an additional commute to and from the gym. I told Maria, ‘If you ever open a location in Duxbury, I’ll be your first member!’ — and here they are!
This gym is exactly what I needed. I actually look forward to my workouts! Maria and the coaches are incredible—supportive, down-to-earth, and always keeping things fun yet challenging. They are skilled at modifying workouts to accommodate injuries and prevent new ones too. The small group setting makes it personal and the sense of community is genuine. I leave every class feeling stronger, more energized, and ready to take on the day. So thrilled Big Day Fitness is now in Duxbury!

Big Day Fitness is the ideal combination of personalized training and a motivating community. I’ve done group classes before that lacked individual attention. I’ve also done personal training but it didn't have that fun, engaging environment that you find at BDF. They also help you fine-tune your diet to make the most of your calories. In two months I’ve gone from lifting 5 pound weights to 25 (and managed to lose 10 pounds, too!) I love that you can choose what days you want to go each week and can make changes if needed by just going online. Last weekend my husband and I went to see a house for sale on the Cape, and I actually told him I don’t want to move too far from Big Day Fitness:)

I'm really enjoying big day fitness! I love the small class sizes and the functional training. The trainers are great, knowledgeable, and push you when you need it. They have so many times available for you to come in for a 45-minute class which is great because I need a flexible schedule.

If you’re looking for a gym that makes you excited to do a workout…this is the place. The motto at Big Day Fitness is essentially Gain with No Pain. Any movement causing pain is highly discouraged and an alternative body movement is immediately implemented. This means any one with injuries old or new will find a way to work around it. For me, this gym has been a blessing! Maria and Max are amazing….they are encouraging and they follow through. I have received several texts encouraging me to keep working hard. In this first month I have lost 2 inches off my waist (crucial to bring down blood sugars) and have lost 5 pounds. More importantly I have more energy and am finding ways to live with better body mechanics. I can’t say enough good things about Big Day Fitness except to say…try it out! Your health and well being are worth it.

I walked into Big Day Fitness nervous and unsure, but found a place where small wins are celebrated and every journey is respected. The support here is real - no judgement, just encouragement.
Everyone’s path looks different and that’s okay. I’ve noticed changes, not just physically but mentally. The hardest part was showing up that first time, and I’m proud of that step.

I was very excited when I saw Big Day opened in Duxbury. The trainers are terrific and they have helped me to jumpstart my fitness regimen after being sidelined by an injury. Big Day Fitness in Duxbury has improved my fitness accountability, strength and overall well-being! Before joining, I was trying to do at-home workouts, but it was too easy to put it off and I often ended up not doing them! I wasn’t being consistent. I also had been searching for a gym nearby that I could fit into my schedule.
Now I make my appointments and have to show up! Max and Maria have been great coaches meeting me where I am at, while also encouraging me to challenging myself. The small group sessions allow the coaches to help each person and the rotation between different exercises helps to target different muscles groups while keeping the workout varied. They also provide nutrition and wellness tips as well as encouragement in between sessions. Thank you Big Day Fitness!

I am so grateful that BDF opened up a branch in Duxbury. In the short amount of time they have been open in Duxbury they have already grown an inclusive, inviting and kind community. And that starts with Maria and Max (and Bobby). After being away from the gym for a few years I knew I needed to get back to taking classes but was overwhelmed by the large class sizes that were available. Then I found BDF… the classes are maxed out at 6 people per trainer so I know that my form will be checked and I will continue to be pushed. Each class starts with a group warm up and then there are 3 rounds of 3 exercises that we rotate through… all at your own pace and at your own level. Max always offers options on how to make it easier if you need it, or to make it a little harder to push yourself. The exercises are geared toward functional strength and mobility- and no burpees!! I have already upped my deadlift weight significantly (even if Max has to pull out the kettle bell for me) and I am back to being able to do pushups on the floor. I can feel my strength coming back!

I turned 50 this past year and along with that came extremely high cholesterol. But my defining moment was seeing a picture of me at the beach on July 3rd this summer.
I immediately started searching for a trainer. I came across Big Day Fitness. When I first started I just thought oh I will lift weights with a trainer a few times a week. But God gives us what we need not what we want. And WOW Big Day Fitness is everything and more!!! Exactly 💯 What I needed and still need.
Its low impact deep core/agility workouts had me hooked immediately.
At 50, mentally I thought I was agile and just needed to get toned. But man I had it wrong.
In the two months I have been going to Big Day Fitness so much has changed. My Confidence, My Body, My Energy, My overall Vibration for life.
The Owner's and Trainers are absolutely phenomenal people with such beautiful souls. Everyone you meet are at different levels all here to better ourselves inside and out.
I Started my Journey at Big day Fitness in Norwell just about 32 months into my Sobriety journey. I couldn't wait for the Duxbury location to open and its become my new home away from home. I look forward to my 3X week, 5am workouts with them.
When I started I was pushing well over 195# at 5/9 with an extended alcoholic belly i couldn't the get rid of. Today Im 171# and feeling so much more alive
and loving myself.
So my advice come join me at Big Day Fitness Duxbury where you to will fall in love with who you are again.. Hope to see you soon ... Ned
