Blue Hills Yoga is a small independently owned studio that combines yoga with fascial fitness training. The studio offers small group classes (up to 6 people) and 1:1 sessions at a very affordable price.
Classes are focused on improving mobility, breathing, flexibility, and meditation. Having trained from an Indian Yoga school, owner Chandana Gopal stays true to the yogic tradition while still incorporates her training in modern Fascia strength and release techniques to provide a truly unique experience.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Chandana at Blue Hills Yoga.
Chandana is an incredibly knowledgeable instructor. Her cues are precise, thoughtful, and easy to follow along, even for challenging poses. She blends deep anatomical understanding with the philosophy of yoga, providing adjustments and modifications tailored to attendees of a class. It’s clear she puts immense preparation and care into every single class.
The welcoming environment she cultivates is safe and inclusive. She has a magical ability to make a diverse room of practitioners feel like a close-knit community.
If you are looking for an instructor who is both an expert in her craft and is warm, look no further. Her classes are the highlight of my week, and I highly recommend her to anyone, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi.

I have been regularly attending 1:1 sessions at BlueHillsYoga since June 2025. I started these sessions to help with my episodic back pain due to my long frequent drives for work from Massachusetts to New Jersey . I started my yoga sessions with Chandana to help with the goal of enhancing flexibility and minimize or eliminate any back problems in long run. Chandana took the time to evaluate finer details that even most physicians will miss and created a customized program tailored to address issue at hand. She used her knowledge of anatomy and fascia to provide therapeutic yoga exercises that remarkably helped me recover fully in a few sessions. I highly recommend Blue Hills Yoga and see how it can have a positive impact on your health.

Chandana, our yoga instructor, is a truly inspiring presence-respectful, caring, and deeply spiritual. Each session with her is a holistic experience that nurtures both body and mind. She thoughtfully tailors the practice to suit our individual flexibility levels, ensuring that everyone gets the most out of each class.
And then there’s Mica, her adorable dog, who knows its yoga time the moment his leash goes on-he’s the sweetest bonus to our sessions! We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of her class, and we’re thriving.
