Boston Personal Training has been a part of the MetroWest community since 2005. We are conveniently located in Sherborn at the intersection of routes 16 and 27.
Our trainers and clients are making their lives better through exercise and healthy lifestyles. BPT is inclusive — we serve all ages and levels, from high school students to senior citizens — no attitude, no pretense.
Our mission is to make it as easy as possible for you to get in shape, and stay in shape.

I’ve been working with Mary at Boston Personal Training] for over five years, and I can honestly say she’s been a game-changer in my fitness journey. I’ve had a couple of surgeries along the way, and she’s been incredibly thoughtful and creative in finding ways to keep me moving forward, especially in collaboration with my physical therapist. Her approach is always tailored to where I am at the moment—whether that’s post-surgery or ramping up training for tennis.
What really sets her apart is her ability to mix strength training with functional movements, making sure every session pushes me without risking injury. She’s strategic, adaptable, and keeps me motivated, whether we’re working on injury recovery or performance. Thanks to her, I’m back on the tennis court and stronger than ever!
If you’re looking for a trainer who listens, adapts, and really cares about your long-term progress, I couldn’t recommend Mary enough.

Boston Personal Training is terrific. I've been training with Coleen for a few years. The workouts are super well structured and have done wonders to keep me flexible, stronger, and feeling good. And, doing FaceTime workouts since COVID started has worked really well -- good communication and interaction and, while not as much fun as in-person, still a great workout.

I started in person training with Coleen in the studio this past summer and have loved it. I'm the type of person who needs someone to really push and guide me through exercises and Coleen definitely knows what she's doing. With the recent surge in Covid cases, I decided to go back to online sessions, which have also been great and very accommodating. I love how she plans exercises for my individual body and ability-would absolutely recommend!!

Coleen has been my trainer for several years now, and I am still in awe at how much thought she puts into the workouts she compiles for me. Sure, some of the same movements come around again over time, but paired differently, such that each workout is just the right level of challenge. And challenging they are. During the pandemic, we moved right over to FaceTime sessions. And lest anyone think that they need a studio full of equipment to get a thorough workout, you DON'T! Not with Coleen in the picture. Nor are the sessions boring due to lack of equipment. She has made excellent use of what I do have (a mat and a 9-lb dachshund door stop)! She creates workouts that are plenty challenging and effective. Because of this, I've been able to continue to make progress during the pandemic. I am very encouraged by the level of fitness I've attained over the many years of training at Boston Personal Training. That, plus Coleen's encouraging, easy-going, personality is what keeps me, an exercise-reluctant person, coming!

I have been working out with Coleen. at Boston Personal Training for a little over a year and a half. I was a gym regular but was not really seeing results until I started with Coleen. The varied workouts, full body focus and regular motivation have me in better shape at 57 than I have been in years. And somehow she gets you to do more core work than you realize without it being 1000 sit ups.
We did not miss a beat with Covid. With a few minor pieces of equipment in my home, Coleen and I have met on FaceTime twice a week throughout the lockdown.
And since it is one on one in a spacious and airy room, I am back to visiting the her facility in Sherborn and feel totally comfortable.
I highly recommend Boston Personal Training!

I joined BPT three years ago for weekly workouts to get back into shape, build core strength, and feel energized. In March, when the world shut down, Coleen pivoted to on-line workouts and, honestly, they just might be harder! Coleen adapted workouts to fit my at-home gym, accommodated my schedule, and always has a new workout - no repeats. I can't wait to get back to BPT, but until then I couldn't be happier with Coleen's at-home workouts.

I have been training w/Coleen for over two years and I’ve been able to get back into the shape I was aiming for after having my second child. I’ve always worked out my whole life with youth sports and then road races during and after college. What I love about BPT workouts are they are personalized and never the same which keeps it interesting. Each session provides a full body workout! Even when Covid hit I didn’t feel comfortable going into the studio. So she adapted and sent me my workouts and offered to zoom with me during them. My work schedule is crazy so the workouts in my email are perfect for me, I fit in my workouts in between work zooms and the kids schedule. I never missed a beat achieving my goals and she was always available to answer any questions. I can’t wait to be back in person with Coleen and team! Highly recommend BPT for whatever goal you are trying to achieve all workouts are customized to you!

killer workouts. technical knowledge off the charts, which means workouts are tailored to your own fitness level and fitness goals, and adjusted easily when scheduling/injuries/races require a shift in approach. justin is a wealth of knowledge for strength training, nutrition and general fitness/wellness. awesome addition to sherborn - 2 hours a week is life changing. other trainers seem fantastic as well.

I thought I was in pretty good shape until I started training. Then I learned I wasn't. Within several months, then I actually was in okay shape. The workouts are difficult but within my capabilities and I really enjoy the atmosphere and hard work they make me do.

Highly recommend! Justin has been my trainer for a year now and I have always found him to be fun to work with, encouraging, reliable and highly skilled as a trainer. I have been going to BPT for over two years. I started with once a week, and within a few months I was going 3 times a week. Justin is experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and creates workouts that fit my goals and accommodate any injuries I have. He is good at working with all ages of clients, and adjusts workouts for the fitness level of the client. He has helped me push beyond what I might think I can do, but does not expect everyone to be a Cross-Fit competitor. I have gained in muscle strength, aerobic capacity, muscle definition, and daily functional ability. I have lost over 20 pounds and 4 dress sizes. I am 63 and have had back, knee, and shoulder pain; Justin has worked with any physical therapy routines I have had. I no longer have the back pain and sciatica I had when I started working out with him. I have started running again after 20 years of not running due to knee pain. An hour with Justin gives me the high intensity, aerobic and anaerobic, and compound weight training workout that I love and I feel great! He's very booked so call early.

I have used Boston Personal Training on & off now for over 7-years. Justin and company are great. They are the nicest and most professional trainers I have met. I recently signed my 13-year daughter up to start working out with Leeza, my daughter wants to work on her core area and get in shape for the start of softball season at school.
