My favorite studio in Boston, hands down!! This place is truly a local community πŸ’• I love the puzzles, tea, and staff. The classes themselves are a good variety and leave me feeling rejuvenated.

Boston Yoga Union in Coolidge Corner is such a peaceful, calming space. From the second you walk in, it just feels goodβ€”like a little escape from the chaos of the outside world. It’s clean, quiet, and has such a welcoming vibe.

I especially love taking classes with Matt and Tim. Their classes are so creative and uniqueβ€”it’s like getting a mini workshop every time, but still within the flow of a regular class. They explain things in a way that really makes sense, and you always leave feeling like you learned something new about your body or your practice.

The whole studio just has great energy. Everyone’s super kind, and it never feels intimidating.

We greatly enjoyed the Summer Yoga class with Dana at Time Out Market Boston.Traveling in from Texas to escape the hurricane and so grateful for an inclusive, functional and engaging movement practice today... Dana has a lovely way of giving options for people who need to tailor their practice to their needs and the park had great shade and sun. We can't wait to visit the studio! Great Job Coolidge Yoga!

This review is for a sound healing session led by Mandy Goldman that I attended a few weeks ago.

While the sound bowls themselves were lovely and created a relaxing atmosphere, something that happened near the end of the session left me feeling quite disappointed. Another participant complimented Mandy on the Indian music that was played during the session. To my surprise, Mandy responded by saying the music "sounded like nonsense words" but claimed it gained meaning with repeated listening.

This comment about the traditional Indian shlokas being nonsense words was disrespectful and dismissive. It's frustrating to see cultural practices like shlokas being borrowed from Eastern traditions, potentially simplified or altered, and then presented in a Western context without proper understanding or reverence. This feels like spiritual colonization rather than genuine exploration.

If you're seeking an authentic experience with spiritual practices, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Took the Gentle and Restorative Yoga class. The class and the instructor were great. As an out of town visitor, the staff was very welcoming. A beautiful studio with lots of equipment and amenities. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend. Such a warm, welcoming and friendly space. Really feels like a community. The teachers are wonderful and the classes are terrific. I also so appreciated the owner's thoughtful approach during the pandemic and as we emerge(d) from the pandemic.

What a wonderful, warm, welcoming yoga studio! I attended a class that took place late on a Sunday morning in winter. There was lots of available parking, a nearby coffee shop for some pre-class coffee, and nearby restaurants for a quick and easy post yoga lunch. Emily, the teacher, greeted every one individually before leading us through a fantastic class. It was well balanced, moderately challenging, and fun. I will definitely be returning to Coolidge Yoga and look forward to taking more of Emily's classes! I would recommend the studio to anyone.

I have been doing just replays at home as that works best with my busy Schedule. The variety of classes on replay is great, and I can cater to what my body needs on that given day. I particularly appreciate the information provided by Tatyana on the specifics of what each of the classes she offers focusing on. That helps me to choose accordingly.

This is one of the best yoga studios I've been to. Two years ago, when I lived in Allston I had a membership here and would go five times a week, and was never disappointed. They have a wide range of teachers and class types that I was always able to find what I needed for that day. I've since moved out of the area and often find myself missing access to this place. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend taking a class with either Laura or Tiffany!

I took my first yoga class ever here about four months ago. Since, I have seen more improvement than I ever thought possible. The staff is not only friendly but fun, energetic, and very personable. I highly recommend CCY to those looking to practice at any skill level!

Been doing yoga here for 3 months now, can't complain at all. I enjoyed it so much, love everything about it, the atmosphere, the class, location, environment, staff, teachers, everyone here is so welcoming that makes you feel great to be a yogi. Sometime it would be little bit crowded (too popular lol) but mostly it's a great place to practice and have fun!

So very thankful to have found the amazing community at CCY. I've been practicing at this studio since its opening in 2013 and find the facilities, teachers, and fellow yogis to exceed others in the area. This is a place for the experienced and the beginner; the resident or the traveler; all are welcome at CCY. The teaching staff is creative and supportive and the class line up offers everything from traditional vinyasa to kids yoga, hip hop flows, and a meditation class. It has become my second OM - you won't regret practicing at CCY.

DO NOT GO TO THIS STUDIO. My Birkenstocks got stolen in the waiting room. The staff did very little to help and my shoes were never found. The classes are also overcrowded and the staff is quite average. Down Under Yoga is MUCH nicer with more experienced staff and a beautiful studio.

After a favorite instructor over at Beacon Hill Athletic Club went on vacation and was replaced with a sub-par replacement, a friend and I decided to sign up for the 30 days unlimited classes for $30 program. Best decision ever!!!

Love the variety of classes available and different time offerings. Have had classes with four different instructors now and though they are all different in their practices, they have all been great. Sometimes the classes are not as challenging as I would like (I like a lot of variety vs repetitive flows) but I've never walked out feeling disappointed. It might not be what I wanted but it is always what I needed. Space is large and designed to make one feel very relaxed. Do wish they had free mats ($2 rentals) for use but they make up for it with offering access to free props.

Been doing yoga for 2 years and tried this place for the first time. They are not welcome to new comers to the studio. My yoga teacher for vinyasa was pretentious and impatient. I'd recommend the yoga room in Charlestown over this place.
