About the Club

Established in 2022, BRICK by BRICK Training Systems is a premier 5000 sq. ft performance training facility suited for both the top athlete and regular gym goer serious about taking their fitness to the next level.

We believe that fitness has a place in everyone’s life. Our mission is to guide the process to ensure safety, satisfaction, results and longevity for all members of all ages.

At BxB we prioritize optimizing movement quality to develop resilience and enhance ability/ performance. Through the utilization of our tried and true systematic approach to fitness and overall wellness alike, we will take you from building the foundations of your fitness process and setting goals through to achieving those goals and conquering more.

Highly recommend Brick by Brick training! If you’re looking for a gym that you can call home, this is the place for you! Nyles not only walks you through your training sessions but he provides the educational aspect as well. I had been through a lot of physical therapy before but it really wasn’t fixing the problem. Nyles was able to pinpoint the issues and wrote out a plan to get me moving pain free. I can honestly say, this place has changed my life!

Nyles stands out because he truly listens. He takes the time to explain each exercise and every session is tailored to my needs and capabilities, and he somehow knows exactly when to push me just beyond what I thought I could do—safely and effectively.

Update: Still working out 2-3 times per week with Nyles and really seeing the benefits. I had to get my wedding dress down from the attic. On a whim, I decided to try it on. Nearly two decades later, it zipped up no problem! How many brides can say their wedding dress still fits? Thanks Coach Nyles.

Nyles and Matt are great! My husband and I both go for personal training and our boys (9 and 11) do a weekly training session. We’ve all gotten stronger and more agile. Nyles and Matt are motivating and great with the kids. They make workouts fun and are so knowledgeable. They can easily modify exercises as needed. They’re professionalism is shown in how thoughtful and personalized the workouts are.

My experience training with Coach Nyles this summer was extremely helpful. He helped me greatly in the weight room and I was able to see the results on the field as well. I learned how to lift safely, properly, and how to move weight with an intention. Every time I came to train I was looking forward to the workout. Nyles was interested in what I as an athlete wanted to focus on and the workouts he gave me really benefited me as much as possible. Through playing football and lifting at UNH I have been able to apply what he has taught me and use it to my own benefit. In every exercise I do up here, I am able to implement knowledge that I gained through working with him over the summer. I have been at BXB for about 2 years now. When I started I was rehabbing a ACL tear and had a lot of Focus on regaining strength and getting to where I was. But as my work there continued I began back into Athlete training and not just weight training. Everything we go at BXB is done with purpose and reason we always build on top of things week in week out. The family aspect at BXB is second to none over the past 2 years I have become best friends with the people I spend time there with. Nyles runs a great business and really knows what he’s talking about and is someone I trust leading me and my teammates. He’s a great coach and friend but he’s a better person. Always looking out for his clients best interests would recommend BXB to anyone looking to take steps to the next level.

I’ve been going to brick by brick since this winter, and i’ve improved in every aspect of my athleticism and strength. I was just okay at certain workouts, but since coming to brick by brick Nyles had taught me so much about form and safety. To the point where i’ve been able to add 15+ pounds to major workouts like bench press and squats. Nyles trains you like and athlete and it shows on the turf, field, court or wherever. I’ve been training here since the winter of 2022. I am a college athlete, and I missed my fall season due to illness. After working in here for just a couple weeks during the off-season, I got back into better shape than I’ve ever been in. I came back this summer to train for my next season. Hal and Nyles were super helpful with getting me in despite working a heavy schedule and playing 4-5 games a week. They always made sure there was time for me to come get my work in, and there was always a plan in place for me to get in the best work possible. They’ve helped build my confidence as an athlete beyond what I’ve ever felt.

Nyles is amazing! I’ve worked with him for about six years. That’s long enough to appreciate both his consistency in approach and his adaptability to changing needs. He peppers his years of experience with fresh research into new techniques to keep training engaging. This is important for someone like me who can quickly become bored with repetitive workout routines. He fully appreciates the mind-body connection and takes that into consideration when putting together plans for clients. He approaches training like a team sport with the goal that both he and his client can grow and succeed together. He also embraces a diverse clientele, ranging from kids to elderly, novices to extreme athletes, healthy to those overcoming injury. He’ll meet you where you are at and challenge you to get to the next level. He’ll introduce you to muscles you never knew you had and encourage you to embrace personal growth. Five stars is not enough to communicate my enthusiasm for Nyle’s work since he goes above and beyond.

I have to say that Joining brick by brick was the best thing that I ever did for myself. My only regret was not joining sooner. Within a few weeks not only did my flexibility improve greatly ALL of my muscle and joint pain went away soon after. (My wife is happy to not have to hear my constant complaining). If you want to feel 10 years younger and don’t have access to a Time Machine, then simply check them out and change your life for the better.
You won’t regret it.

I have followed Coach Nyles through several years and locations. He has guided me through many ups & downs in fitness, health, injuries, and overall life experiences! All the while NEVER giving up on me or ANY client, I've seen him train. Combining forces with Coach Hal (Matt) has increased that experience two-fold. Both Nyles and Matt are an overall joy to exercise with. They create a welcoming environment and are nothing but pure positivity. I started training with Hal and Nyles last winter and I have seen so much growth in a very short period of time. Wether you are an athlete or not this is the spot to be. I can confidently say these are the best trainers I have ever been with. What makes them difference is how much they care. They are in it for the right reasons and have a passion for you and your growth. Their facility is top notch and it is only going to get better. If you are looking for results this is the place to be. I have learned a lot about my body and how it works. I wish I would have started a lot earlier. So I wouldn't suggest making the same mistake I did. While on the field at the University of Maine I have noticed so many of their teachings and exercises translate to the field and to my regular life. I am in the best shape of my life and I can honestly say Nyles and Hal played a major role in that.

I trained with Nyles for 2 years before I moved to another state and when I come home to visit my family I always sneak in a few sessions! He is a great trainer, he is very knowledgeable and the things he has taught me has stuck with me to this day. Six weeks into training with Nyles and I’m already feeling and seeing results. I’ve been training for years and after a recent injury I’ve been stuck in quick sand. Nyles took me in, did his Jedi assessment and developed a plan for me that has brought me back into the race. His patience and attention to detail is unreal. He’s cleaned up every aspect of my form and function with incredible purpose. Many of the exercises I thought I was killing took on a whole new meaning. I have worked with Nyles for 7 years now! When I was 16, I began training with him as a timid young athlete. He always made me feel comfortable and pushed me to be a better athlete! With his help, I became a member of Team USA, and he made sure I was strong enough and healthy enough to compete at my best. When I went to college, I missed his sessions so much I made it a priority to commute over 1 hour back home regularly to continue our sessions. Now that I’m no longer an athlete, I have found I still value our sessions just as much, if not more. As a woman of a particular age (58) gyms have always intimidated me, never mind working with weights. I feel so comfortable there and the coaches are so positive and encouraging. I’ve been using Nyles as my trainer for 5 years now - he always brings enthusiasm to the workouts and tailors them to what I need (but also makes sure I work hard!). Matt and Nyles are both incredible trainers! Everything inside is clean, upbeat, and safe! Both are extremely well trained and provide quality workouts for anyone of any body type, health status, athlete or not.

Working with Matt was one of the most rewarding gym experiences i have ever had. It’s easy to fall behind and lose track of yourself, but Matt does not let this happen. After training with Matt for about 3 months, I saw changes in my body I hadn’t seen in years. His ability to pinpoint exactly what your body needs in order to meet your goals is incredible, and he makes it easy for you to want to come back the next day and do it all over again. Matt makes it a mental game, and that’s the hardest part about getting in shape. He pushed me in ways I could not push myself.

I attended brick by brick training systems for a couple years. During that time, I benefited from both trainers (Matthew & Nyles) expertise and their continual journey towards excellence in providing me with an overall healthy lifestyle program of physical, emotional and spiritual growth that has met my personal needs over the years. Both trainers are continual students and teachers always bettering their knowledge and putting into action the benefits of their learning through specific fitness program and communications.
One of their strengths is providing a program that never gets old or stale. They have the capacity of changing things up, making the workouts interesting as well as challenging using new and varied techniques along with different types of fitness equipment. Both trainers were there providing me with not only a fitness program that met my needs to keep active, along with keeping me safe from injuring myself , but they were there also as a support system as well. I"ve been with Nyles for over 8months with one on one training. My goals were to not just to "get in shape" but impliment a new way of living with a good balance of fitness in my life. Nyles has not only helped me acheive and surpass my goals, he also educated me along the way with nutrition, byphasic and corrective movements to help gain a great foundation before we even dove into the strength aspect. This now allows me to continue this whereve I go. Im in my early 40s and have a few existing conditions. He spent the time to learn them and train me to overcome them with time! His focus, dedication and awareness is above and beyond! The new space is so welcoming to all ages and skillsets. No macho BS in there, Ive literally seen as young as 10 yrs old up to 70+ along with people that have life long injuries that are limiting them. Also some crazy good athletes ages 16-22 aspiring for elite levels of sports. All of them leave with their heads up and excited to come back. Brick by Brick is a unique space and is the only reason Im taking the time to write this detailed review. Ive been through multiple trainers and gyms, this one desrves to stick around and continue to aid and educate anyone that wants a change large or small!
