British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, beginning as early as 3 months. Located inside of DoubleTree Hilton, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

My daughter has been learning at the British Swim School in Milford on and off for the past year. She’s on a swim team and wanted to focus on refining her technique, and this school has been the perfect fit for her. The coaches are awesome, and Logi and his team are great: supportive, skilled, and encouraging. My daughter has progressed faster in her form and technique here than at any other swim school. The instruction is perfect for building strong overall swimming skills and for preparing your child for competitive swimming. Logi is also very understanding and accommodating with scheduling flexibility, and they offer a wide range of class times and days, which makes it easy to find what works best for your schedule. Highly recommend!

My 11 year old daughter has been attending this school for just over a year and a half and has progressed faster in her form and technique than at any other school in her 6 years of lessons combined. The instruction is top notch for preparing your child for professional level swimming, competition, and overall swimming skills. Can't recommend it enough.

Logi and the team are fantastic! The instructors are incredibly patient, maintaining a calm and respectful environment that makes learning a joy. Unlike other schools we tried, my daughter actually looks forward to going to the “quiet pool” as she calls it. Highly recommend for a gentle and effective introduction to swimming!

We brought our kids here from another location. We are blown away by how nice the entire staff is. They make sure our kids are happy. They only allow 4-5 kids and you are not committed to a 12 weeks of a class. If your child has learned all the skills for that level then the next class they will move up. They want your kids to succeed. The owners are fabulous!

Really thoughtful and effective program for learning how to swim. Within just a few sessions our kids went from being scared of the water to jumping in off the side and going under. The folks running the program are extremely kind, flexible, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend for anyone whose kids are just getting started with swimming.

My youngest started July 2, he is comfortable in the water but only knew the doggie paddle. He was excited to learn more. The staff was very helpful and friendly in accommodating our schedule!
