Train with Sean! I turned 40 and started working out in August at Built in Boston, and it was one of the BEST decisions I made. Sean is expert, approachable, encouraging, and FUN to train with. Every workout is distinct and he clearly puts tons of thought into every class to challenge us to improve. The culture of the gym is also so encouraging. Since I started, I feel so much stronger carrying my kids around, running, swimming, and have no low back pain anymore and I can do the monkey bars again with my kids! Training here is an investment in yourself that pays back thousand-fold. I canβt recommend Built in Boston with Sean highly enough!

Sean is a skilled trainer who spends the time to get to know his clients, asking plenty of questions to understand the full picture of what your goals are and how he can help you get there. I came to him with an existing workout regimen that I wanted to supplement with more rehab-focused movements and he took the time to assess my weak areas, understand my current training schedule, and create workouts for me around those parameters. I am moving and feeling much better than when I first started seeing him thanks to the time and effort he put in. Regardless of where you're at in your workout journey, if you are interested in getting some 1 on 1 guidance, Sean is an excellent coach to work with.

We started training with Sean in 2013. He's the best fitness coach I've ever worked with including cardio, strength, flexibility, balance, and nutrition. Sessions are long-term and short-term goal-oriented. I've lost weight, increased my strength and balance all while learning new techniques and achieving new goals I never thought possible. The workouts are challenging in a very positive environment. Sean helps you stay accountable to your goals. And he is also excellent at adapting movements to those with limits to their range of motion.

Sean is an amazing trainer and fitness professional! I went to him for help with losing weight and my overall fitness and he was able to help me with my diet, exercises and routines outside of his gym, and daily discipline. His training sessions are no joke but I always felt amazing after them and like my whole body was getting the movement it desperately needed. Great place. Great trainer. Sean is very personable, knowledgeable, and is great at tailoring workouts for different styles of individuals and groups. Training with him I've dropped 70 lbs, and gone from not being able to do 1 pushups to now deadlifting 325lbs (working towards 400lbs). I loathe standard cardio (running, biking etc), but he makes it fun using combinations of kettle bells, medicine balls, jump rope, rowing, you name it. Could not have done it without him. Highly recommend. Weight training? Go there. Cardio? Go there. Trying to figure out how to get healthier? Go there.
