We are a diverse and inclusive community with a culture focused on fun, hard work, and safety. All our members know each other’s names and support one another during workouts. I started Crossfit a few years ago to build strength to augment my running and never thought I would end up loving it so much! I love the fact that if you show up, you WILL get stronger and in shape if you are consistent. I had heard that Crossfit is a recipe for injury - but found that not to be true at all. There are always ways to modify and like anything in life, you get out of it what you put into it. I love the variety and have so much fun doing it. Everyone is wecloming and friendly - it's kind of like "Cheers" except healthy! Tara is an excellent coach and cares about every athlete that walks in the door. Definitely worth trying out if you are curious.

I joined Powdermill CrossFit about 3-4 months ago and it has changed my life. I cannot say enough good things about it. Tara and the rest of the coaching staff are tremendous. They are knowledgable, encouraging, and meet you where you are while pushing you to extend your own (not anyone else's) limits. The workouts are different every single time, so you are always pushing yourself in new directions. The community is extremely supportive - everyone is working on their own goals at their own level or pace. Cannot recommend it highly enough, no matter your age, gender, or fitness level.

This place is great- the trainers are really good at pushing you but not beyond you can do, and they accommodate if you need to modify the workout. The people there to train are fantastic- friendly, supportive and just plain nice folks.

If you've ever been curious about CrossFit, this is the place for you. The gym is clean and well equiped, but the coaches and community are what makes it special. Whether you have 10 years experience, have never stepped foot in a gym, or are working around limitations, the coaches will meet you where you are and help you achieve your goals.

Getting a workout in here is always a highlight of my day.

So happy to be part of the community at Powdermill CrossFit. Perfect place to "Reignite my fitness" after a substantial injury during a pandemic! Coaches are skilled and knowledgeable, as well as consistent; zero turnover in 2+ years - dedicated. They're always willing to work with you to achieve your fitness goals. I knew Powdermill was for me when I ran into a coach at a local business shortly after joining and only attending a few classes...the coach addressed me by name and said hello with a friendly disposition. How did he remember me and my name so quickly?! The coaches are invested and care about the members. Tweens class is also fantastic and has made my tween realize she is an athlete and can participate in challenging fitness skills despite not playing team sports! Thanks for being my home for fitness Powdermill CrossFit!

Powdermill has turned my physical health around. I have lost 50 pounds and dropped my resting heart rate to 55bpm from 90+ since I started going here. But the best part has been learning to enjoy weight lifting and gymnastics which keeps me going back. The coaches are wonderful and really helpful in achieving my goals.

I never thought I'd be a CrossFitter, but every time I leave Powdermill I feel pumped up and ready to come back for more. The coaches kept me going during Covid by offering at-home workouts and zooming me into the gym, pushed me to safely workout harder when I was back in person, and are now supporting my workouts throughout my pregnancy. The coaches are consistently ready to offer expertise and modifications and I always feel like I get a good workout in.

My first experience with CrossFit - have exercised for 20 years but needed a change of pace. The workouts have been challenging and I’ve seen results in 6 weeks. From the first visit, coaches were professional, friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable. My experience has been that the members are all ages, body types and levels of experience - and welcoming. Give it a try. They offer a trial period to determine if it’s the right fit so there’s nothing to lose.

I’ve been working out with many of these folks and some coaches for over 10 years!! Their commitment to every member’s experience and progress is second to none. Enthusiasm, knowledge, continued learning, and creating a strong community feel are what keep me coming to the gym even when I’d rather sleep in. The facility is clean and classes are well organized. They’re always excited for newcomers and they will help you get a solid foundational knowledge and appropriately scaled but challenging work out. Check them out!

Awesome community, super friendly and professional while having fun above all. Whether competitive or casual, classes here are great.

Inclusivity also, coaches will adjust workouts for every level, age and experience and are ULTRA attentive (they have eagle eyes) to anyone with injuries.
