I've been a member at Confidence Fitness going on three years now. I'm in the best shape of my life. Coach asked via our Facebook page to comment on what we're 'building' in the gym. Essentially asking 'why are you doing this.' I commented 'I'm building my old lady body.' I want to be strong, agile, mobile, sharp, with good balance and live a long healthy and vibrant life. Given what aging looks like for the average American, that's a big ask.
But I've found it really isn't. I'm in my seventies and I have found that with the combination of a personal 'why am I doing this', a little discipline (ok a lot of discipline) and a gym with professional certified coaches whose mission it is to give you the tools, encouragement, accountability, know how and support in a safe environment to accomplish your goals, it's completely doable. And fun. Did I mention patience? Rome wasn't built in a day and creating a strong and healthy 'old lady body' takes time and patience with the process.
What I'm trying to say is that if you don't yet match the image of the strong, healthy and vibrant body that you want for yourself, and you're ready to take a step in the right direction, seek out Confidence Fitness. I think you'll find what you need there. They are committed to helping you get strong, healthy, and vibrant not just for the short term, but for the long term.

If you want a large gym with 100 machines and mirrors on all of the walls, this is NOT for you. If you like small group, Individualized training and coaching, this IS FOR YOU. Great trainers and owners. You are not just training; you are training right, as the coaches, coach you every step of the way. ( as needed )

I have been going to Confidence Personal Training for about nine months. Was reluctant at first but my gut said, do it! And I am glad I did. I have some health issues and I know that I have to take things slow. Coaches Nora and Sean meet you where you are at. As you progress they increase the challenge. And yes, they can tell if you are not challenged with a particular exercise. They have an exercise plan specifically for you and it changes every month. The program hits all muscle groups including the brain, because of the new exercises each month. Frankly, challenging my brain was one of my goals. I am in the over 60 group and they are a wonderful group of people, supportive, kind and fun! Also, coaches Sean and Nora are there to adjust your form if need be, to prevent injury or get the most out of the exercise. Important for me because I have never done strength training before. Definitely happy I listened to my gut.

Wow! I sure found the perfect work out studio for me and my needs to do strength training. Small studio, smartly designed, excellent coaches, personalized program, even an "over 60" group, everyone is so welcoming! Never been to a gym before, but they are so complete in their care and instruction, I feel competent and CONFIDENT as I rebuild muscle strength and balance as a protection against osteoporosis. I worked with Sean at Confidence Fitness from April to June for personal training, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. Two years ago, I injured my back and hip, which led to significant muscle atrophy and chronic pain—especially during lower body workouts.
With an upcoming surgery on the horizon, I knew I needed to rebuild as much strength and stability as possible to support my recovery. That’s where Sean came in. He created a smart, personalized training plan that focused on gradual progress without overexertion. He listened closely to my feedback, adjusting exercises based on what felt good and what didn’t.
In just a short time, I started to see real changes—not only in strength and stability but also in weight loss. Most importantly, I felt like I was finally gaining control over my body again. Sean also provided a solid plan to carry me forward, and I truly can’t thank him enough for his help and support. I look forward to working with the Confidence Fitness team again in the future.

Since joining Confidence Fitness I feel stronger, more toned, more energetic, and I really enjoy my workouts! The trainers are all super knowledgeable, they'll fix my form so that I get the most out of each exercise, but in doing so they're also making sure that I don't injure myself. They customize my workouts so I'm constantly challenging myself, and they offer modifications in the rare instance when they notice something doesn't seem challenging enough, or if I'm just struggling with form. The trainers are constantly observing each client and offering encouragement or advice, which is super helpful and motivating. And it's a fun environment with great people, so I really enjoy my gym time.

Been a member now for approximately 2.5 years and would recommend to any and all.
Coaches work with members and tailor programs to their ever changing needs. Perfect example for me was last December…had a sudden bout of Sciatica and instead of skipping sessions went to all of them and the coaches helped me recover (working on mobility, spinal decompression, etc.)….within a week and a half was feeling good again… and that’s just one example of the quality service and staff at CF!

In just six weeks, I’ve gained 6 pounds of muscle, and even more impressively, my baseline blood sugar levels have leveled out. That’s not just a fitness win—it’s a health milestone I didn’t think was possible.

The team at Confidence Fitness made it easy to get started. My introductory call with Coach Nora answered all my questions and helped ease my anxiety about starting at a new gym. On my first day Coach Sean talked me through the program and what to expect, and worked with me one/one through the first workout. I have been a member of Confidence Fitness for 6 months. At the beginning of my “journey”, my goal was to become stronger and feel healthier than I was at the time. I began the strength training and cardio program and felt my confidence level climb to heights I didn’t realize I could achieve! I just had my physical and received a very good report on blood work etc., to the point that my cholesterol (and especially my triglyceride levels which were high for some time) has come down to much improved numbers. I feel that I can attribute the exercise regimen (and watching the diet of course) with the great report from my doctor. I still need to work on certain areas but feel that Coach Sean, Coach Nora (and Coach Jack) will keep me on track and will keep encouraging me to do the exercises even if the routines seem difficult at first. By the way, I’m 72. If you are able to, give them a try! It’s challenging but we also have a lot of laughs along the way!

Almost a month without CF GYM and “coach” (both of them). Travel for work (and long dinners…not my thang). Travel again for a lot of schooling. No real workouts and only occasional walks. Preparing for a huge exam. Sleep became unrest. Social activity and church were put on hold as well. Sleep turned into unrest and anxiety.
Last evening was great to be back in the gym!! Coach’s watchful eye correcting my form.
Last night was the best sleep in over a month!
Now I’m ready for third and final stage of “the big test”.

Confidence Fitness is the place where fitness and community comes together. The classes promote individual training in a small group environment. Regardless of age, fitness level or goals, CF workouts will get you healthier and stronger. My personal story was to get stronger prior to a hip surgery. At 57, I am not ready to hang up the ice hockey skates or stop doing the things i enjoy. I needed to get healthier and stronger for the surgery and to be back on the ice afterwards.
In the 3 months before surgery, even with my limitations due to injury, the coaches provided me with a variety of exercises and modifications to reduce further risk of injury but strengthen my hip/leg while strengthening my total body.
Four weeks now post surgery and i am ahead of schedule with PT, feeling better than ever and looking forward to get back to training at Confidence Fitness. Highly recommend CF for those who want to get more fit, healthier and stronger to “stay in the game.”

I can't say enough about my experience at Confidence Fitness: The owners and trainers are so friendly and professional; I was made to feel right at home. The 4 week '50 Strong' program that I just completed was individually tailored for my fitness level. It was challenging, but trainers Jack and Angela were great at cheering me on, while making sure I was working out safely. My 60 year old body definitely felt the burn, but it has been worth it to see my strength and balance improve so much even after just 4 weeks. Owners Nora and Sean provide continuous support, and there seems to be something for everyone here. I would highly recommend Confidence Fitness for anyone who is looking for a place to safely work out under the watchful eyes of professional trainers in a warm and supportive environment. As a young athlete, Confidence Fitness does an amazing job at prioritizing not only

Confidence Fitness has played a major role in our lives. During the pandamic I used the gym and had a tremendous experience. As a result we entrusted them with task of personally training our daughter Zuri as she pursued her ambitions to swim at the highest levels. Coach Nora and coach Sean and coach Tess were amazing! You go through an initial evaluation before starting so they know exactly how your body moves and what a good starting point is for each individual. Then they created a personalized plan for me! I found a difference mentally; - in that I feel good about doing something positive for myself.
In addition, I have always had a weak back. After doing physical work - yard and house, I was aching. Now? I mow the lawn, spread much, plant my annuals, do weeding and all my household chores without an issue. A big relief!

Firstly I don’t like gyms. Years ago I said I would never join a gym again. Why? I roam around not knowing what to do & the help I got was not genuine.
Fast forward to feeling unhealthy overweight miserable & just not fit nor strong.
While searching for equipment that deep down I knew if it came in my house I would probably be hanging clothes on it or something. I found their ad offering a program for 50 years old + women.
I looked at pics it looked ok… I hit reply to find out more. I got a fast response from Nora, a few texts & I went in for a free consultation. I told Nora I don’t do gyms, I’m unhappy with myself, I need to lose weight, I want to wear a T-shirt & feel ok not worrying about my flabby arms. I want to be toned I want confidence. I want to lose weight but tone & strengthen at the same time. But I have no idea what to do. And then it was easy everything was taken out of my hands as far as a plan. One on one I will repeat.. one on one with NO judgement NO embarrassment I was put through a few things, squats, etc to see what I could do. Just me no one else. What I could do. Then I was scored again no judgment I have a few old injuries that hamper me a tiny bit. I signed up! Very much worth it. You get 2 apps to download which are easy and step by step. I got a one on one with Sean. This is where alone he set up my very own workout for ME. No one else just ME. What can I do with no pain.. completely personalized. So there is a PLAN then my homework which is REALISTIC don’t fib!! I have never felt so comfortable and so safe. Remember I don’t do gyms! But this is ok, this is different there is no judgement. We all come in different shapes & sizes we all have different stuff going on in our lives. There are youths getting training, there are people just like me! Not once have I been “sold” nor judged. I was introduced to people, which was nice. I am me, I am not changing for anyone else but me. I need change & amazingly I feel I can become confident again for me. They are located in Attleboro easy to get to. Lots of times to fit your availability. And for everything you get affordable! Make an appointment & check it out! Confidence fitness deserves 5+ stars. The coaches truly care about helping me reach my fitness goals. The small group personal training approach they take means every day I get individualized attention.
My workouts are tailored daily specifically to me, not a group approach where one size fits all.

Personally, I was coming out of covid frustrated with the limited programs available in my area. I was surprised to find something so close and never heard of them. I normally love strength training and I needed help getting my hip and back stronger. Confidence Fitness adds layers to their program to ensure youre able to maximize your workout. The dynamic stretching is especially helpful and an area I typically lack or cut short.
Overall, the people and atmosphere are very welcoming and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and never intimidating. dont hesitate, make an appointment!

I went to Confidence Fitness faithfully for 5 years. It improved my life immensely by keeping the late 50 something, mentally, and physically toned despite the aging process.
I then chose to leave for one year, COVID really had nothing to do with it, but for me financially.
About 3 months after I left I said I don’t need the workouts, I’m good. 6 months I started to really notice my decrease motivation and energy.
A year after leaving Confidence Fitness I started to shop around. I was looking for that better “price”. As I looked I found that I wasn’t going to get the same personalized , and professional coaching the Sean and Nora Cryan provide.
I have once again started back and loving every workout, and feeling relaxed and an all together better feeling about myself.

I started to go to Confidence Fitness as a way to lose weight in a weight loss challenge. I did lose weight but what I really got from that experience was whole new outlook on proper nutrition and exercise. The coaches at Confidence Fitness are very knowledgeable and costom tailored exercises for my individual needs. When I became a member and had lower back pain. lack of energy and motivation. I was approaching 68 years old, still working full time and feeling old. I have always been “allergic” to structured exercise. Until….a friend told me about Confidence Fitness. It sounded so different than anything I had heard about. So after a knee replacement surgery allowed me to walk and climb stairs again, I showed up at CF to ask lots of questions. I was skeptical. I liked what I heard and saw. Science, nutrition and exercise physiology all came together as we talked through my fears and doubts.
The kindness and thoughtfulness of the coaches as they plan for my individual needs is remarkable. I feel strong and encouraged. My balance is slowly improving as we work on careful ways to strengthen my core. I always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Do yourself a favor and come check this place out! Confidence Fitness is by far the most comfortable gym environment I have ever been a part of. The coaches are super knowledgeable, supportive, attentive, and just overall really great people. I’m aging, (no kidding Huh) and though I always tried to work out and keep moving it was without much help or direction. Over the last few years, and after a few injuries and operations, I really backed off exercise. Late last summer I joined the gym with Nora and Sean and have been receiving personal training sessions since. Through a progressive program of softening muscle tissue, stretching, and exercising I’m seeing quite a difference in stamina, agility, balance, and strength. Nora carefully evaluates my progress and each session becomes a continually evolving approach to improve all facets of movement to improve overall conditioning. Her concern with my gradual change is guided by safety against aggravating old areas of injury or pain. I’m feeling great and I’m loving it.

I contacted Sean from a referral to help with my upper body mobility.
At 63 it was difficult to reach for a glass out of the cupboard.
This restriction placed me into a “get moving “ mode to recover back what I had lost.
I was too young to have this restriction and it was not going to improve for me.
I signed up for two days of personal training and with time and consistency, It has paid off! Huge!!!
I feel at least 5 years younger and workout at this gym 3x a week today.
I know you said Sean that “ you could take ten years “ well I am working on it:)!
My energy level has improved 100 % and feel great today.
The Strength training has improved me both physically and mentally with work and daily living.
It’s like having a new lease on life!

I would highly recommend Confidence fitness. I have been going there since January 2020. You get a personalized workout tailored to your specific fitness level. Sean and Nora are knowledgeable and down to earth. I feel so strong now and my family has noticed it. If you have an ache or pain, we work on it. It may be a little more expensive than I regular gym

I started at CCT on September 2019. I cannot say enough great things about Coach Sean and Nora. I’ve always had chronic back issues and have re-injured myself working out with other trainers. Not only has my back felt phenomenal but other health issues subsided as well. I feel so much stronger and healthier!! Coach Sean takes the time needed to get to the root of the issue and puts the proper exercises/stretches in place to help you get better for good!
