Iβve been in the CrossFit world for over 12 years. Iβve been new before, Iβve been a competitor before, and I have worked as an affiliate manager and coach. Iβve seen a lot in the CrossFit world. I had to take a break for a few years after moving and having kids (while nursing a few injuries). When I was ready to return, it took some time to find the right CF gym for me. Iβm not a competitor anymore. I am a 42 year old mom who just wants to be around like minded people while having fun working out in a safe way. CF EXP has exceeded my expectations. I felt welcome from the first day I walked in. The owners, Tiffany and Nick are so kind and accommodating. The coaching staff is incredible. They are very qualified and so inspiring. The members are inviting and fun. Iβm so grateful to be apart of it all and I encourage anyone who is on the fence to give it a shot. This is the affiliate you want to be apart of.

The programming and coaching was top tier. Individual attention in a group setting can be challenging but was done very well here with excellent bits of advice for technique and motivation along the way!

Superb, they follow the format and have perfected the class flow. It's easily scalable for beginners and experts. The coaches are attentive and correct form during the movements. Great whole body workout! Highly recommended π

I've been going for about 3 months and have made great progress. I went in overweight and in pretty terrible shape. Now I am stronger, lighter, and just have more energy. It's not easy. I still have to work hard everyday on my diet and training, but the expertise and community at CrossFit EXP makes it doable. The coaches there have done a great job at modifying the class activities in the beginning to make them possible for me and have continued to motivate me to improve. It's a great place to work on your fitness goals.
UPDATE: I started going in Oct 2019 and it's April 2023 so I've been going 3.5 years. I have been there 5-6 days a week except when on vacation. It is by far the longest streak I've ever been to a gym and I see no end in sight. The community and coaches are great.

If youβre looking for a great gym with a thriving, connected community, this is the place! I decided to try CrossFit after working out at home throughout the pandemic, and Iβm so glad I gave EXP a try. The workouts are varied and can be modified for any fitness level. The coaches are knowledgable and encouraging, and know when to challenge you. They can help you with specific goals and can help you accommodate injuries or challenges so you can grow stronger in a safe way. The community is welcoming, caring, encouraging, and inspiring. Thereβs always something to work towards, and always people there to cheer you on as you work towards it.

I've been lucky enough to call EXP my gym since 2014. Through the years I have seen members and coaches come and go, but the one thing that remains the same is the fun and loving community that surrounds this location. I never imagined I would fall in love with the sport of CrossFit, but I can't imagine life without it! I have no background in fitness, but that's not needed when you have great coaches educating you along the way. I can confidently say I'm mentally and physically in the best shape of my life (and it's only getting better) - and it's thanks to this gym right here!

Coaching staff was phenomenal, friendly, and welcoming. Gym has everything a crossfitter needs. Swung in for a week of classes on a short trip and they made it feel just like my home gym. Would highly recommend.

Within the next couple of weeks I'm coming up on 4 years of training at CrossFit EXP. The family that this community creates is amazing. I have so many new friends no, family since becoming part of this community. Non judgemental, supportive and always there for an Atta Girl!!! If you had known me before starting at CrossFit EXP - you would never have thought that I would run a mile, a 5K, a 10K, start cycling, reinvigorate my love of swimming - and Sprint Triathlons!! I can no longer count all the events I have done. Mentally and physically stronger - all of us together!! Thanks to my Coaches and to CrossFit EXP for being an integral part of my life!!!

Would never deal with Crossfit Exp Leominster again. Tiffany Normandin was unbelievably unprofessional. No communication skills what so ever. Called and emailed this woman several times, and got no response. Totally unacceptable behavior from this woman.

Great place to be great place to get fit and healthy... although the paleo diet didn't work for me at all but everyone is different... prices are a little steep for 3 days a week 1 hour classes but all in all its worth checking out if u have the money.

I'm still in my first week, and I feel amazing. I'm very new to the gym atmosphere and I'm pleased to say no one has treated me less for being a newbie. Everyone is helpful in making me feel welcome. I plan to make it my second home.

I joined CrossFit EXP nearly 2 years ago. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. At the risk of sounding cliche...it's the truth, so I'm going to say it: This is a COMMUNITY, not just a "gym." The Coaches are all fantastic, well trained, personable and genuinely engaged in the health and wellness of the members. The community is amazing, it's like a family. It's a no-judgment zone. It's a place to be YOU. It's a place to become a better YOU. All with the support, encouragement and help from other members and Coaches. I have exercised fairly regularly since high school (now age 36) and I feel the best I have ever felt...the healthiest, strongest, most confident and in the best shape I've been in. Not to mention, my stress level is controlled! Something that's not easy for anyone to do this day and age. There's always room for improvement in ourselves and CrossFit EXP has given me the ability to continue to work on myself. Thank you to everyone who's a part of CrossFit EXP. Love you all!

If your new to lifting and high pace workouts then it's perfect. The class starts by showing one new exercise (snatches, one leg squat, power clean, etc.) Then a set circuit workout that runs about 20-30. This seems pretty standard to a "new-be" but for a more advance/ experience lifter it can get boring. Don't get me wrong, the workout at the end was awesome and I'm not the worlds best lifter. But I was a three sport athlete and bjj for basically all my life. Spending 30 or more minutes repeating a lift form with a bunch of moms around you can get kinda annoying. I spend more time starring at the "advance" lifters (distracting) then burning a sweat. I'm
Not trying to hate on the owners or any of the trainers because they were very nice people and knew what they were doing but I feel like there should be a beginners and experienced class. Maybe it would be different if I did stay more then the free week but they haven't even called me. But give it a shot.. People are nice and it's a growing new sport.

These guys KNOW THEIR STUFF! Highly recommend their elements course as you get going. CrossFitEXP can get you from the couch to cross-fit and help elite athletes reach their goals. The coaches tailor all discussion and workouts to the individual that makes for an unintimidating and feel good experience. Do It!

I was very intimidated my first time attending CrossFit EXP but after my first class I was hooked! The coaches are so knowledgeable and will customize any workout as needed based on abilities or injuries. I feel better than I have in years, mentally and physically! There is a real sense of community there with all of the members supporting and encouraging each other, inside the gym and out! EXP also plans additional monthly challenges (nutrition, running, etc), often at no additional cost. I just really wish I had discovered this place sooner!

CrossFit EXP has been AMAZING! I started in 2012 and came in as a distance runner who would lift on and off at the gym, but didn't know what good weight training was. CrossFit has changed all that, I have never felt this strong and my running has improved a great deal since. I haven't needed to put in as many miles in my training with the balance of CrossFit, and it has broken up the monotony of always running. The hills are nothing now with all the squats and lifting from CrossFit training. I hit a PR this past fall in my half marathon with just under 1:30 and I'm aiming for a PR in my next marathon in April. I highly recommend CrossFit EXP for everyone! The staff and friends you will make there are incredible!

Family! I have been going to EXP for over a year now, and my only regret is not going sooner. I have not only lost weight and inches but have gotten so much stronger. The coaches go unmatched, they push you to be better daily. These people have turned into my family and great workout partners. If you are reading this, it means you are thinking about it, my advice? Just go for it. I can guarantee you will be greeted with smiles and a huge round of applause and push through the workout!!

The coaches are awesome! I'm 5'11 - 150 pounds or so and wasnt exactly in great shape when I started and 6 weeks in I feel freaking AMAZING. I ran a 6 min mile 2 days ago and if you told me I was going to do that before running it, I would have definitely laughed. If you also told me 6 weeks ago I'd be doing body weight or really close to body weight in most of my lifts I would have laughed. This place has made such a big difference its honestly crazy.
If you are on the fence do it, I was and now I'm there at least 5 or 6 times a week.

I have been going to EXP for a little over a year. It quickly has become a part of my daily routine. My only regret is not trying it sooner. The programming and coaching is top notch to any athletic ability. The sense of community allows anyone to step right in. As a member at EXP I have drastically improved my health and fitness lifestyle, Iβve lost over 75lbs and am now in the best shape of my life. My only warning is once you try it you canβt give it up.

At 43 years old I had reached my all time high in weight gain. My last physical was worrisome due to high cholesterol levels. I felt I was too young for a pill regiment. I needed to adjust my diet and increase my exercise.
My son found CrossFit EXP and wanted me to try it with him. We went to our free introduction class, was met by a Coach who explained the workout and assisted us with scaling the weight for the workout. As soon as the word "GO" came out of his mouth we knew this was a different workout experience. We signed up for a 6 week program as a trial run....that was 10 months ago.
Enough can not be said about the Coaches and members of CrossFit EXP. Their knowledge is incredible, their passion is unmatched. From day 1 they have been there to help me in my form and techniques as well as importance of eating cleaner. The other members have been welcoming and encouraging throughout. The friendly atmosphere is so refreshing.
My weight and cholesterol have dropped and I am doing different activities with my family like 5k races and mud runs. I am the strongest I have ever been at this stage in my life. I couldn't be happier with my decision to join the EXP family.

Joining CrossFit EXP has got to be one of the best decisions I've made for myself. Why? Because what I walked in expecting is nothing in comparison to what I walk out with after every workout. I walk out with so much more than just a finished workout! From having a better understanding and knowledge of food to knowing the unknown, CrossFit EXP has given me the most ultimate, well-rounded workout I've not gotten anywhere else. By well-rounded I mean as in mind, body, and spirit. My mental clarity is sharper, my physique, stronger and my spirit much, much happier (and knowing what you are supposed to be eating is a bonus)!
What is better than being surrounded by a fellow crossfitters who support and push you beyond your comfort zone? What is more beneficial to your success than a very well educated and experienced coaching staff who will properly get you to reach your fullest potential in strength, endurance, and mobility? What is more exhilarating then your Crossfit family being there to high-five, hug, cheer, and scream as you beat your last lifted weight or timed personal record? Not too much will beat these things and these are all experiences I have every time I walk into CrossFit EXP. I get a gym, several personal trainers/coaches, nutritionalists and a team (now family) all under one roof!
I would recommend to anyone who is looking for that full body workout (again mentally, physically and emotionally), CrossFit EXP is the place to get it! Come see what the hype is all about!!! I feel better at 50 then I did at 30!! Crossfit has changed my life in so many different ways!! All my life I have been a gym rat..working with the same machines..same weights..never really challenging myself..When I joined Crossfit EXP, I found a whole new world of fitness! Not only am I stronger, I have more energy, more confidence in myself, and more importantly, feel great!! Each and every workout is challenging, yet modified to whatever level you can achieve! The coaches are fantastic!! Their consistency in their training is what makes Crossfit EXP stand out! Their different styles of teaching, compliment each other perfectly! They focus on you as an individual, helping you to get the most out of your workout, achieve your goals, and most of all, help better your overall health! I have been going to Crossfit EXP since last October, which is also when I first began my crossift journey. My whole life I have always worked out, but just got bored at the gym. I tried the free, class only because I had a friend that went there and finally talked me into it. My first day I was petrified, but as I walked in at 5:15 am I received nothing but good mornings and positive vibes from everyone. Never in a million years did I expect to become addicted like everyone else says you will. The people and coaches are so welcoming and genuine, and you truly will become one big family. The thought of having to go back to a normal gym with the same boring routine just isn't an option anymore. One year later, I am the strongest I have ever been and honestly look forward to working out at 5:15 in the morning everyday!

I cant say enough about Cross fit EXP! I've been a member since June 2011and LOVE IT!!!The coaches are great ,and experienced! Which is very important when choosing at cf box! If you have any problems with anything they are always willing to take time and help. The relationships you make with other people is priceless. No one is there to judging you ,just there to encourage you too do your best!!! Time to make a change in your life??? Give Cross fit Exp a try and you can thank me later.
