This place is great! After 2 years here, I can say that the coaches are amazing, and will cater to your skill level to make everyone comfortable. The people who go to this gym are super kind, and have become really great friends. All levels are welcome and celebrated here, and the small box is a great way to do crossfit, whether you've been doing it for a long time or not too long. It's so much to come and stay a while, or just drop in. Either way, you'll meet awesome people.

I’ve been a member at this CrossFit gym in Lowell for a while now, and I’m continually impressed by the exceptional quality of both the coaching staff and the overall community atmosphere. From day one, the owners and trainers go above and beyond to make newcomers feel comfortable and supported. You’re not just another member here—everyone genuinely cares about your progress, your concerns, and your personal goals.
I've been doing Crossfit for years at different gyms and what really sets this place apart is how well the trainers cater to individual needs. Whether you’re working through an injury, dealing with chronic soreness, or just feeling a bit off on a particular day, they’re quick to adapt the workout so that it still challenges you without ignoring your body’s signals. The balance they strike is perfect: you get that push you came for, but it never feels like they’re disregarding your limits or risking your long-term well-being.
Just as impressive is the sense of camaraderie. It’s not unusual to have more experienced members cheer you on or offer a helpful tip—everyone wants to see you succeed. The atmosphere is upbeat, encouraging, and fun, making you look forward to each class. Coaches are very personable and inspiring on both a professional and personal level- many of them being actively involved in charity work in some shape or form. Really great people.
If you’re seeking a well-rounded fitness environment—where expert guidance, understanding coaches, and a warm, supportive community all come together—this is the place to be. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I would recommend 100% without hesitation. As a 50+ guy with replaced knees, I was reluctant to start CrossFit to say the least. I had preconceptions of a lot of cultish shirtless cheering :-). I was also honestly more than a little intimidated. My oldest daughter talked me into going there at a time when I needed something to get me back into shape as my workouts at that time were not getting me where I wanted to be. The coaching there is outstanding. They help you adjust and learn prescribed exercises to ensure you get the most out of them. This was especially helpful on the ones I struggled with (ie. pullups and some of the more complex weight movements like cleans and snatches). The membership there is very inclusive, supportive, and a lot of fun to be around. There are all ages, abilities, and body types. At about the 3 month mark, the aches and pains went away and the physical changes were significant. If you are on the fence, I would recommend going for it but give it enough time and effort to allow the program and coaching to work for you.

Great coaches, great equipment, great community. As a 50+ athlete, I really appreciate that the coaches give me direction when appropriate, while allowing me the freedom to go "off-program" when I need to target some specific improvements of my own. Time at Crossfit Lowell is always some of the best time of the day.

Esse box é uma maravilha! O dono é espetacular, os treinadores são super profissionais, e a comunidade é sensacional. É uma cultura de suporte e zero julgamento. Eu adoro poder entra e conhecer as pessoas que eu treino. Existe pessoas de toda idade, todo exercício é ajustado para seu próprios acomodações. I feel like my opinion might be a bit bias. But it is simply because I have grown to love & respect this crew as family of my own. The camaraderie, motivation & grit that goes into almost every WOD is simply outstanding. These people would go to bat for you under any circumstance - exactly like a family should. Nothing is taken personal & in fact it is all left on the floor. So get at it. Get a barbell in your hand & go hard. It is time to move.

Crossfit Lowell offers a supportive, motivating, competitive and inclusive environment. As an older (over 50 y/o) athlete, I must make modifications in my workouts to accommodate my worn-out knees. The coaches at Crossfit Lowell take it all in stride, working to accommodate me while keeping things fun, challenging and safe. I have been a member for two years and learned so much about the sense of community and support. Coaches provide lots of instructions and work at every member's level. For me, it is a great place to focus on my health and add to the positive experience of others. There is a sense of great community especially in Saturday class, where members of all physical levels workout side by side. If I miss Saturday class, there is an open gym, where I get the same support from my peers. I am grateful for all the support I get from coaches Sean, Jason, Trent, Christine, and Tiffany.

This gym is great! I haven’t had a lot of experience with CrossFit but it doesn’t matter here. Sean will take care of you. They all will take care of you, including other coaches and members. I recently experienced issues with billing and the owner responded immediately to take care of my needs. Place is awesome. Get there!

Come as you are, workout as you can. Crossfit Lowell is a place for everyone. I was in town only for 2 months and found CFL as the right place to crossfit during my stay in the Greater Boston area. This is a super welcoming community with such amazing people that I already call “family”. The coaches are excellent professionals, always dedicated and ready to help. Facilities are roomy and clean. They got really good equipments and besides the racks and the regular gym area they have a side room with a weightlifting platform and accessories as well. One thing about Crossfit Lowell that really caught my attention was the programing and all I have to say is: they are really good at it. Every week day is scheduled with a main purpose so every athlete can develop all different areas of fitness either strength, endurance, technique or cardio.
If you’ve never done crossfit and want to try you should give this guys a chance. If you already crossfit I also highly recommend this place. If you’re just passing by, drop in. You wont regret!

Some people look at CrossFit as some sort of cult and others as a fad. Well, they are both wrong. It's a community where we train together to improve our daily lives physically and mentally.
I was nervous when I first joined, but can honestly say that I'm in my best shape ever now. It's a commitment and challenging, but the coaches will push you and others will inspire you.
CrossFit Lowell as a community cannot be beat. It's always about the people you are with. They help create the experience more than what you're actually doing. Whether you just started or been there since the beginning of time, you are warmly welcomed and feel a part of it.
If you are looking to get fit and enjoy doing it, this is the place.

Caring, educated, motivating, energetic; I can go on for ever. Anyone can read about what Crossfit is on the web, what you can't get online, through a review, is the amazing vibe this place has. Come check it out!
Personally, they have been life altering for me. I joined at 300+ lbs April of 2015. Diabetes Type II, High blood pressure, Sleep Apnea with a CPAP. I wore 4x shirts, my waist was at 46 inches. The athletes and staff motivated me over the last 12 months, pushed me, encouraged me, coached me. Diet, exercise, proper scaling, recovery and straight up fun. When I say they care, I mean they REALLY CARE! If you do your part, they will do theirs.
Today, a year later, I'm at 215lbs, Pre diabetic with no meds, no high blood pressure meds, no CPAP. Size L shirts, 36 inch waist.
Come join us, put your sweat in, 1 hr a day, 3 days a week. You will feel amazing!

The most important factor when considering a Crossfit affiliate is coaching, and Crossfit Lowell has some of the best in the business. The coaches here are dedicated, knowledgeable and helpful. Their number one priority is the personal success and safety of each athlete.
The CFL programming can be tailored to people at all levels of experience and physical ability. I've been a member for a little over two years, and have witnessed some really amazing success stories.

I've been a member at CFL for almost 3 years ... Words cannot explain what this box has done for me .. Not only physically but mentally as well ! When I first walked into the facility I thought I was going to walk in to a random gym but little did I know these individual became part of my family ! The expertise of Coach Gina and Coach Sean are indescribable, simply amazing ! I've crossfitted overseas and out-of-state but I must say ... Nothing comes close to my little home that I am proudly to say "CrossFit Lowell" :)
