I booked a birthday party for my 7 year old son at Downtown Sports. The person who was running the party was the only person in the building while our party was happening as well as several other volley ball games and other customers needing attention who were coming in and out of the building. You could tell the party facilitator running the party was very stressed. With that said he yelled at the kids several time, seemed short tempered, yelled at the parents who had younger siblings who were innocently playing on the sidelines saying that "this is a birthday party not free daycare", there were many other rude comments that I cant even list them all. Then when the part was almost over and the kids were eating pizza he announced we to everyone we have 5 more minutes and then we all had to be out of here since there was another party coming in. I was mortified so many times in the span of 2 hours. I will NOT be using Downtown Sports again for a birthday party or any thing else. AND I can assure you the 20+ kids I had at this party will also not be using Downtown Sports for anything as well. What a bad look for a local business. My final point is he could have had more class by speaking to me on the side rather then yelling at the kids, or expressing time concerns to everyone he could have spoke to me and said make sure we have things wrapped by within 15 minutes...rather then speaking that way to our guests. Sadly we had a horrible experience.

Downtown Preschool has been an incredible place for my daughter’s early learning journey. From the moment we joined, I could see how thoughtfully and expertly the school is run. Ms. Melanie, the director and lead teacher, is truly exceptional in early childhood education. She creates an environment where children learn not just academic skills but, more importantly, social-emotional growth, independence, leadership, and character development. The life skills my daughter has developed here will stay with her for years to come.

Ms. Brenda brings a wonderful element to the school as well, creating a sense of calm while introducing the children to individualized and enriching social, emotional, academic, and artistic/musical experiences. Her calming and grounding presence adds something really special to the classroom.

The overall atmosphere of the school is peaceful, nurturing, and structured in a way that helps children thrive. My daughter has grown so much—learning how to be a confident, socially responsible person while naturally picking up reading, writing, math, and science along the way. I’m so grateful to have found a place that balances emotional intelligence with academic learning in such a beautiful way. I highly recommend Downtown Preschool to any family looking for a warm, well-run, and enriching early childhood education experience!

Great place for a birthday party, the gym was huge and had more than enough room for large groups of kids to enjoy a few hours of play. The staff was wonderful and very helpful setting up and breaking down the party. Also great sports programs. The flag football program is run efficiently also

We have been here for drop-ins, open sessions, birthday parties and team events. What a great space and concept for the kids, that doesn't break the bank for parents, and gets the kids to use imagination in play and get out from behind screens. It is not only a great training facility, but a great community resource!

We have been going to Downtown Sports for the last two years and really like that it is local to us and here when we need to practice basketball. Court time that doesn't require a full gym membership is hard to come by. Even attended a skills workshop for basketball there.

My daughter has been with Franklin Youth Soccer for 4 years now and has participated in many activities and classes offered by the Franklin Soccer School at Downtown Sports. This really is a great organization - everyone involved is extremely dedicated to helping the kids advance their skills and work together as a team. The location is convenient, there is plenty of parking, and their fees for trainings and activities are very reasonable! Highly recommended!

All four of our kids enjoy the facilities at Downtown Sports - whether it's soccer, lacrosse or basketball, Downtown Sports is a weekly destination for us. Been going to Downtown Sports since they opened.Grandson loves it here.Well supervised,secure,and Lots of fun.Many different activities going on so something for everyone. Coach Rich and Coach Kevin are fantastic, and they've built up such a kind, patient, fun and talented team of people at Downtown sports. We are so happy to see the expansion of the facilities, and the branching out into other sports- my girls always love going to their programs, and say they are amazing!
