I FINALLY found a yoga studio I love! I've been practicing for 15+ years and have been so discouraged because it seems 99% of the yoga classes available are all the same (sun salutations and warrior poses get very old, lol). Drift & Oak has such a great variety of yoga classes, including yin yoga and yoga nidra, multiple times a week! The fact that they also have barre, mat pilates, and functional fitness means it has everything I'm looking for. I did the new student 3-week intro, and immediately found several classes I knew I'd want to attend every week, so the unlimited membership was a no-brainer for me! I literally schedule the rest of my week to make sure I can attend my favorite classes here. And on top of all that, the instructors and other patrons are so welcoming and friendly! Highly recommend!!!

Drift and Oak Yoga is conveniently located in the Medway Mills (where I also work), which makes it so easy to pop into a class before or after my day. Their classes are incredibly mindful and grounding — you can really feel the intention behind every session. The instructors are welcoming, knowledgeable, and create such a peaceful atmosphere. It's become a highlight when I can jump in on a class.

I absolutely LOVE Drift + Oak Yoga. I had been searching for the right studio for quite some time, and am soooo happy I gave them a try. The studio space is dreamy and the classes are amazing. I was really seeking a beautiful space where I can take some restorative classes to destress. Drift + Oak hit the nail on the head. Highly recommend!

Drift and Oak Yoga Studio in Medway, MA is a wonderful home for your yoga practice. As student at Drift and Oak, I’ve experienced tremendous growth both on and off the mat. This is largely due to the diverse range of classes available, whether I'm in the mood for a challenging session, something invigorating, or a restorative practice. The studio caters to all levels and needs, providing a balanced approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit.. Located in a beautifully restored mill, the studio offers a calming and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and mindfulness.

The instructors are not only approachable and kind but also incredibly knowledgeable. With a schedule that changes seasonally, there are always flexible times to explore different classes. I particularly appreciate the workshops, special events, and series that keep the experience fresh and engaging. The membership is definitely worth the investment.

Bianca has created something wonderful that anyone who is interested can be a part of.

Finally found the right yoga studio for me! I love the community vibes, the hours are convenient, the classes have variety, my practice has strengthened… and I’ve made a few yoga friends along the way. I’m so grateful for Drift and Oak. Highly recommend.

Owner Binaca Fantoni initially appeared welcoming, but over four months of regular practice, I felt subtle unfriendliness and a cliquey vibe from owner Bianca whenever attending her classes.
After two months away I returned to the studio to attend a lovely class by another teacher. Three hours after that class ended, without any prior feedback from the owner or any other teacher, Bianca emailed me to suggest I practice elsewhere!!!
Her email was hurtful, unprofessional, and without any warning. And as a practicing yogi and mental health counselor since 2000, as well as a certified yoga teacher and prior yoga therapist her “ warm regards” email felt personal and a far cry from what qualities I understood a yogi should embody.

It’s taken me time to be able to compose this, step away from my initial emotions, and accept I am another client who has felt unwanted and unwelcome by her. I will continue to practice at my other local studio where I’ve always felt respected, welcomed and treated with grace.

Came in to do a community with Ms.Stanton and it was a wonderful experience. The studio was super clean and smelt wonderful. Abby was so patient with the whole class, and she made the experience easy to follow.

Highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to do yoga.

I joined Drift and Oak back in January with my daughter. Never had done yoga before. I had no clue what I was doing. After my first class I instantly fell in love! All the teachers are great. The studio is so warm and inviting. The studio and the classes have been my saving grace. It has done so much for my mind, body and soul. I am grateful I have found Bianca’s studio. I look forward to ending my days there.

NOTE: This is going to be a long review.

Six years ago I used to practice regularly when I lived in the Boston area. Then came kids, moving out of the city, and prioritizing my own health was the last thing on my mind. I am so thankful that I listened to that little voice in me, urging me to go back to my mat this January.
The space that Bianca and her team have built is one of kindness and care. I came from a place of embarrassment (I don’t know why, maybe it’s Millenial-core), practically apologizing, walking into every class saying that I’ll probably spend most of the time in like an up ended turtle. Every instructor was unphased, offering modifications and having the same message throughout class: listen to your body and be kind to yourself.
If you are looking to get back into practice, start new, or are a veteran seeking “the vibes” (said in Julia Fox vocal frye), I encourage you to come to Drift and Oak. The instructors are very knowledgeable, there are a variety of classes (from chakra flow (my favorite!), mat Pilates, functional fitness, vinyasa/yin), and the students are of all levels so you never feel alone when you practice.
If you are wondering about instructors specifically, please find a couple notes on those I more often than not practice with.
Bianca - If you’ve practiced in Boston, think Ame Wren/Brenna Matthews, and I say with the highest compliment as they were my two favorite teachers. I think Bianca’s power is her interesting sequences that cleverly lead to your peak pose. Great playlists, mostly no-lyrics. I am very thankful for Bianca. Because of her, I have started to feel like the self that I thought I lost. Bianca is a true gem.
Amy - If you’ve been hesitant to branch out of yoga, I urge you to take a mat Pilates or functional fitness class with Amy. This was me, two months ago. Amy is one of the most charismatic people I’ve met. Amy being Amy is what draws me back to her classes every week. She is so much fun. Her playlists have such a playful spirit and you laugh the 45 minutes you spend with her. She checks in on you regularly to make sure you are using the weights correctly in functional fitness and the disks, rings, etc. in mat Pilates. You do not need to have any strength or Pilates background. I didn’t! And Amy welcomed me and offered modifications continuously. She pushes you, with care.
Cathy - Have you met someone and thought, this person is a healer, whether it be the mind or body? This is Cathy. She is a reiki practitioner and the only way I can explain it, is that Cathy’s just has this energy. You feel this huge amount of warmth from her. A true joy. Cathy has a weekly restore/reiki class every Friday that is sold out and it’s like winning the lottery if you get in. Cathy is 100% the reason why that class has a waitlist four to six people deep; she’s that warm bright light you want to be around.
Al - The first time I walked into Al’s class, while I didn’t know her, I knew I already liked her, as her playlist sounded incredible: Taylor Swift’s Evermore! How could you not think, this person is it. Al has the talent of reading the room/asking for suggestions and creating a flow (in her head!) and making it align with what’s going in the class. Really smart sequencing and cues. I am hoping Al increases the classes she teaches. If you have a chance to attend, do it. She’s like a rare bird you don’t want to miss. Find her and take her class.
Becka - So so so nice. Has the millennial playlists of my dreams. She’s played back to back Rhianna y’all. Brilliant. Super sweet demeanor while flowing through challenging sequences. Almost like you don’t see it coming because how nice she is? But in the best way. I’ve mostly attended Becka’s classes when she’s subbing due to my work schedule. I will say that when I do see Becka subbing I absolutely do not cancel because I know the vibes are going to be immaculate.

I hope this (long) review helped and inspired you to come to Drift and Oak.

Love this yoga studio. I joined a few weeks ago and I’m so glad I did. Not only do they have a variety of classes and times to suit everyone’s needs, the teachers and members are all friendly and approachable. One thing I very much appreciate is that these aren’t yoga classes just for exercise. In addition to exercising your body, the instructors also weave in the true nature of yoga, spending time on meditative elements as well, for a true mind-body experience.

Drift & Oak Yoga Studio has changed my life for the better. I am so proud to be a fulltime, monthly member for over a year and a half. Coming into D&O, I wasn't just looking for a space to exercise, but a community in my neighborhood where I could meet people outside of my career (hard to do for an adult!) Bianca, the owner, was SO welcoming and kind when I started. Her teaching beginners is wonderful. I truly believe she can teach anyone. I have improved so much since starting at D&O. I have never done any sort of regular exercise in my 31 years of life. It has always made me nervous. D&O is a place where I feel at home and feel like it's ok to just be where I'm at.

Bianca, has built an incredible community. This community ebs and flows and changes and grows with her business. She is open, kind, and friendly. She genuinely cares for each individual student. She is a great business woman - she started her own business in the height of the pandemic and is THRIVING. I run my own organization, and I know firsthand the challenges and frustrations this can bring. Bianca's studio is thriving, and I can't recommend more that locals try out this location. You won't regret it.

I joined D+O in April 2022 with no expectations, as someone who has enjoyed a yoga practice in the past but never found her “place”. From the first class I took with Bianca, I knew I had found it. D+O has been my saving grace the last ten months and I look forward to every class I attend! The class offerings are diverse enough to choose your own path and the instructors truly care about each person’s unique journey. Feels great to be a part of something so wonderful!

You may think I’m biased because I’m a teacher at the studio, but as a result I’ve had the great privilege of taking classes with many of the teachers at drift + oak. Many yoga studios and gyms these days get caught up in the “workout” aspect of yoga which is simply not what it is about. I love drift + oak for honoring the meditative, mindful aspects of yoga, while offering a range of class types from restorative to dynamic. The studio space is a welcoming, cozy, and nurturing “happy place”. Classes are intimate and you get to know the students and teachers you see regularly. Bianca, the owner, is a pro at teaching to beginners and setting students up for success and to fall in love with yoga. Love it here! ❤️

Was certainly a wonderful and welcoming space, but now there feels like a little identify crisis going. Can’t decide if it’s yoga, sound baths or boutique retail.

Regardless of the “all over the map” this studio was welcoming to everyone, but has recently been focusing on a select few to the detriment of the long time members.

I was recently injured in class, and the only person that expressed concern for my well being was scolded for talking in class. The owner, who was in class, and the instructor never once asked if I was ok.

This very much used to be a community of people that genuinely cared about others, most recently it feels like high school. Too much drama, and if you’re not at the cool kids table, you’re just a $$.

This is a great place hidden away from all the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. A quiet place for you to relax and get away after a long day with ether yoga or sound baths. The door is open and welcoming to everyone, and even if you are not in for a class the storefront is a cozy place to walk into if even for a few minutes to make a purchase. I would highly recommend checking Drift + Oak out whenever you stop by The Mills if you have not done so already.

This yoga studio was so peaceful and amazing! I am a beginner to yoga and felt very comfortable here. Today, I attended Basics. As someone who is not expierenced in the different poses, my instructor Bianca explained them all very well throughout the class. The other people attending today gave high praise about the other instructors, and I look forward to going to their classes. As a beginner, Bianca recommended I also try Yin Yoga. If you are nervous about trying yoga or haven't found the right place I highly recommend attending this studio!

i’ve been going to d&o for 5 months now. before that, i took one yoga class at a regular gym years ago and didn’t love it. i work next door to d&o so it was convenient to try it again. i wanted to give it another shot a) just to get exercise and b) to try to slow down and relax more mentally. i LOVE going now. i look forward to it every week. going to classes at a dedicated yoga studio vs a regular gym is a TOTALLY different experience. the studio is small, cute, and comfortable. i love that most of the classes i go to have like 5 students in them (but the busier classes have like 10-12). i was really intimidated and nervous to be the newbie, but i felt totally at home after like two or three classes. tip for if you’re nervous to start: get there 10m early to get a spot in the back, they have great mats that you can borrow if you don’t want to commit to buying your own right away, & the “aligned” class is my favorite.
