Absolutely the WORST gym ive ever joined. Imposdible to cancel membership. I have contacted this gym on multiple occassions and even have visited multiple times trying to cancel my membership that I havent used since 2017... Each time I visit/call an employee informs me that I need to “meet with a manager” in order to cancel my membership. The manager is NEVER there... beyond ridiculous . Don't join this gym you will be locked in for life... seriously

The manager mike is lazy as hell and is never on site, god knows why. Have tried contacting him 6 times now to cancel my membership and an employee always claims they will have him email me the cancelation form, but never does. The customer service is absolute trash, such trash your better off walking around the parking lot to get your cardio in. Very nice employees but he takes advantage of them. No wonder everyone left to go to other gyms.

Good gym for the basics but screwed my mother over $800+

My mother has been trying to cancel her gym membership since December of 2014 in person and via e-mail due to a medical reason where she was not able to return to the gym. We kept the e-mails in writing and even have confirmations showing that they received it.

During the several management changes, I continued to follow up with those responsible and still had no luck. I recently sat down with the most recent manager, was very friendly and patient and explained the situation to give him a chance. He was very attentitive of my concerns and tried.
However, when he reached out to his 3rd party billing company, they said they never received it even after showing them proof of our e-mail exchanges. Due to this, we were unable to get our money back. I was extremely disappointed especially because I had proof on both ends in writing!

Unfortunately, my mother is not the first person who has experienced this situation. It is unfortunate that this situation has occurred as we have 3 memberships at this gym and have been members since the start. We are currently exploring options to ensure that my mother receives the money she deserves.

In response to your post Mike, I understand I need to look into my mother's financials. As a manager of the company and hiring the third party financial firm, you should be able to easily pull that information versus me providing you with all these documents to prove a point. I have plenty of evidence of with the e-mail chains over the years to reflect what we are owed. I should no have to go through this much work when you and your financial team should easily be able to pull this information from your database. Extremely disappointed and thank everyone from the Fit Focus staff except yourself for being so understanding, attentive and helpful with this process and getting me cancelled. I always love supporting family businesses such as this but not when my family and I are treated like this.

Tons of equipment! Comfortable environment! Free personal training session for beginners! It’s comfortable space, I’m out of shape and don’t feel intimidated. They offer babysitting and so much more. Before you join another gym check them out! My favorite part is your not locked in for a year it’s no commitment unlike all the other gyms in the area that have long commitments. They always run great specials!

Pretty good equipment, some need repairs and stay that way for a long time, but that only represents about 5% of all their equipment which they have a ton of.

My two biggest complaints have to do with their front desk staff and the lack of a woman's area. They in fact had a woman's area but closed it off so they could create a specialized exercise room for classes. They said that instead they be closing off an area in the front of the gym to create a new women's area. But that has never happened.

Additionally, when bringing a guest we've had multiple experiences where they take my guest's ID and then when we try to retrieve it at the end of our workout and no one is manning the front desk to help us.

What I do like is that it isn't very crowded, they have tons of different kinds of equipment and free WiFi.

Clean and bright. Can't beat the price. Not a trendy health club, if that is what you are looking for. Never gave to wait for anything!
NOTE, the men's locker room is lousy. Small and none of the lockers actually lock.

It's a gym, not a fancy hotel or restaurant. It has the equipment necessary to work out, which is why you're there in the first place. Is it perfect? No but you can't beat the price and it's also open 24/7. If you're someone who needs to work out at a nicer gym, you'll also be paying a much higher monthly/annual fee.

The facility is clean, and the front desk is super attentive and friendly. There's also plenty of equipment to utilize. I'm a huge fan of the Group X program, love Petra's, James & Anya's classes! I attended their heart rate training classes earlier this spring and I cannot wait to attend them again in September!

No one explained the membership rules while signing up. I came to know this later that we have to pay monthly though you do not use facility for months. They charged one month payment ahead that will be used towards 30days after your cancellation. No one told about these things that Cancellation will take more than 3 to 4 days, its all manual, you need to get form from gym, fill out and mail to their billing dpt etc. this is ridiculous.
More over they do not even have the patience in answering the questions.
They charge $49.99 for rate lock for one year, if you cancel your membership and then wants to start again after few months in the same year, you got to pay again $49.99, so absurd...

Dont join unless you want to get ripped off! ABC financial is THE worst company to deal with when it comes to trying to cancel a membership, they refused to prorate the annual enhancement fee. I cancelled my membership two days before the fee was due to come out, and they said that i had to give them 30 days, but i could still use the facilities until september, but refused to work with me on prorating the annual fees! I will NOT re-join this gym, nor will i refer any friends or family here!
