Fitchburg Strength and Fitness is not only the absolute best gym in Massachusetts with some of the best equipment but also the very best owners and members. I know because it is owned by family, not just saying it because of being family but instead for the truth. I could not believe one day when I came to see my brother and found how not only were the customers now members but had all said how they become family there. It was so nice to see and hear this from the customers because most places customers are just customers to the owners and employees. Here at Strength and Fitness they not only have competitions, trainings, very supportive of one another in many ways but also have so upgraded their equipment. This gym has something for everyone. Trust me you will not be bored and will want to become like second family to the owners and members alike! Just What I Know As A Matter Of Fact! Give this place a try; you will not be sorry!

I can't speak highly enough of this local spot. If you need brand new equipment, TVs, and classes this isn't a place for you. If you want to lift with every machine, rack, barbell and platform you could possibly need.....and hardly anyone there.... This is the place to go. They play WAAF instead of top 40 so you don't necessarily need headphones either. I'm a competitive powerlifter and it's perfect for someone like me, a body builder, and it even has some basic strongman equipment.

Ok I will not lie my younger brother and stepfather own this gym. But I will not bé bias with my post either. If you are looking for a great gym that offers every piece of equipment needed then this is the gym. If you are looking to be HARDCORE and Extreme without worrying about béing asked to leave then this is the gym. If you want to be yourself and not worry about what others may think then this is the gym. I have been to many gyms such as Planet Fitness, Global and Boost just to name a few and all of those gyms are fantastic gyms. The only major differances between those gyms and Fitchburg Strength and Fitness are: if you don't Physically fit in with the clientele you definitely will feel like a watermelon in a basket of oranges FACT... If your skinny, lean and in decent shape you won't feel awkward at those gyms, but how many people can honestly say when starting the gym they are at that level? Not many. This is coming from someone who considers myself to be extremely athletic and at times excellent physical condition. Again im not taking anything away from the other gyms because they are all fantastic. But at Fitchburg Strength and Fitness you can bé yourself without worry, theres no hidden fees or contracts, they have every piece of quality equipment one could need, the fee is ridiculously low, and they sell supplements, drinks and shirts. From what I remember the first workout is FREE. The gym offers thousands of pounds of free weights, weight machines, cardio machines, lockers, and boxing equipment for those who are into boxing like myself. In addition, there are many people who compete on a regular basis at the gym all of which are friendly and will offer advice if asked. My stepfather has broken NUMEROUS World Records for power lifting. He has benched pressed an incredible 585lbs at a body weight of only 210 lbs and just missed a 600lbs bench moments later. His knowledge alone is worth going to the gym and at least looking. Go to the gym I promise you wont bé disappointed:) And you might catch me there doing one of my workouts as well :)

Glad there's a gym in this garbage town. It's in an old warehouse which is pretty weird. Not in a cool way either, just in a creepy way. That said, they're pretty cheap. They're cool with short memberships and stuff, which is awesome. Looooots of machines too. No track or courts or anything. Plenty of freeweights, couple benches, couple of squat racks.

This is a real throwback to me old school training lots of top-of-the-line equipment very pleased with the atmosphere wish I lived close by would lift here 4 times a week enjoy competing in powerlifting and will be back in the future the staff is friendly and Lifters are well known in the sport

It's more than just a great gym and a very supportive friendly environment. Every staff there is very polite and respectful. I greatly recommend this gym to anyone that are looking for a great place to challenge the benefit of their overall health and wellness quality.
