Poor facilities. Very dusty and unsanitary. Sanitation stations do not exist at this area leading to unclean equipment. This affects yoga mats as well, wiping is not a precedent at this location. This can lead to fungal infections!

Very little room to re rack plates which causes precarious situations. Equipment is old and heavily interfered by classes held in the large basketball space.

I do not recommend this gym unless they update their facilities and cleaning practices.

This is an excellent facility. I am there 4 times a week and really enjoy it. I have benefitted hugely by joining again almost 1 year ago. Love it !

Horrible facility with very poor, old quality equipment. I have only gone to this gym a few times but every time I have been there, there is an older man who sits up front and has never been kind. I asked him a question and he rolled his eyes and gave me a bland response as if I was wasting his time. Knowing I am paying $15 for a day pass to use the facility, there should be some respect and the equipment should be better.

Joined on a family plan, which is available for anyone sharing the same address. Lots of cable/strength machines available in multiple stations, including some nice tucked away corners if you (like me) prefer a little more isolation. Good variety of cardio equipment, free weight stations, and a large tennis court and group fitness classroom. Haven't tried the pool yet. Gym gets busy around 6pm but folks are very polite.

Best thing for me is that the gym is so close to my house.

I usually got here for swimming. The water tastes pretty salty and I guessed it's because of the sodium hypochlorite. And my friend said he felt itchy after swimming.

Okay I guess… over priced for what you’re getting. Small weight room. Mundane arbitrary rules throughout facility. The hours are an absolute joke, and the main reason I’m giving this the score it has. 8pm closing for $45+/mo is pretty ridiculous. Some of us work longer hours and can’t even get in until 7:30. If you’re someone who takes exercise and lifting halfway seriously don’t join here it’s an old folks home.

I called them to inform them about a large hornets nest in a bush by the driveway after my wife was stung twice and the person who answered the phone blew it off and nothing got done. My wife and I went down early in the morning and took care of it. Luckily no one stung was allergic but things like this need to be taken seriously and not with an attitude that "oh its just another boomer complaining ". Very poor

This is the worst gym I have ever been to. I got harassed by an older man at this gym and I was still charged after trying to cancel my membership. I called to explain my situation and I was laughed at over the phone. I wanted to like this place but as a young woman I always felt uncomfortable and disrespected. If you are a woman this is not the gym for you.

We love HAC. The pool, hot tub, sauna plus the childcare make it a no brainer choice for our family. You'd pay much more for an equivalent spa visit.

The membership base skews older but that's not an issue for us. It would be great if they had a mailing list to update members on changes.

The recent fire was a huge blow to the community, right now childcare is not available and a free amenities are missing. But hopefully they will rebuild and return to fill functionality quickly.

Two weeks ago a Male lap swimmer crashed right into me in the free section of the pool he broke two of my toes! The young lifeguard would not put him into the lap lanes but told me and another woman to move over stating he had a right to swim in the open section even though lap swimmers have there own area!

I spoke with scott the manager today having not been able to use the pool because of my injury.

He was incredibly rude, talking to other members while l was talking to him. He did not care that l was injured, he did not ask if l had medical bills, he did not apologize.
He stated that they allowed lap swimmers to swim in the open section even though they have their own section from 5am till 10pm and open swim is from 3pm till 8pm.
Because of this many people get injured and people quit this club because it is not safe!

Some of the young lifeguards sit and text and wear pants instead of a guard swim suit.
There are two excellent guards Hunter and a older woman.
Everybody has the right to swim, water walk without the fear of aggressive Male swimmers crashing into them. This gym has many and they rule because management does nothing to them. The gym has a duty of care to its members to provide a safe place to swim and workout. It fails in this duty.
This club used to be the best in the area until new management took over. The previous owners never let lap swimmers into the open section ever, hence there were never injuries.
I will now go to the YMCA in noho as they have promised me l will be safe and my children too.

Cons- $55/month plus $25 to setup a new account.
- Gym equipment looks like its not been maintained since the 1970s. Dirty, dirty, dirty.
-Punching bag in the basketball court is cheap. Made in China, too light for an average size boxer. The bag will swing constantly because the height is too far from the ceiling--the ceiling is the top of the basketball court roofs....Ineffective

-Dirty dirty. Weight room is small and tight. Lots of dudes grunting and yelling. Most of the weight equipment is missing safety components or grip tape.

-I asked if the Wi-fi worked. It does NOT.

Just join Planet Fitness or another local gym.

-Bad customer service.

It is a pretty gym in the woods as opposed to in a strip mall. I could not afford it for more than a month. I'm not sure what the price covers; maybe towel service? as it's not like there are multiple pools. The pool feels short and also shallow as I was brushing the bottom and dreaded trying to make a flip turn in the shallow, not relaxing.

But, although older, the facilities themselves are as clean as you get for their age.
