The adaptive swimming program rocks. After spending 2 years in a very expensive program, and not making rapid progress, we started with Stephanie in Haverhill YMCA.
She has set high expectations for independence and for problem solving. My son - who has significant disabilities - is doing so well at the Y program.

So grateful to have a gym that maintains a quiet gym space. Most gyms have a loud, obnoxious radio blasting at all times, ruining the workout experience, but the Haverhill YMCA is a sanctuary from all that noise pollution nonsense.

Love Tricklin' Falls. Kids stay away from electronics and they have fun outside all day long. They come home wiped out! The bus is very convenient from Amesbury and they also pick up in Haverhill. My kids hadn't experiences that I don't get to do with them. They asked to go back this Summer after going last year.

Good place to Workout but Not a good Place to Live!!! I have severe health issues and use an inhaler and my requests haven't been meet! Living here has been nothing short of a nightmare. Yes it's Lower income housing but at what cost!!! Your health is very important! You only have 1 life people forget that!. I've lived here several years now and has cost me a TON just to Breathe this building needs a REVAP!!! It's filled with people who can't follow simple rules such as going outside to smoke not only do they smoke in thier rooms! But they also smoke crack or meth as well this nonsense needs to stop immediately!!! Maybe this will reach someone that actually cares! Again great place to Workout or Catch a swim but avoid Living here! Nothing short of a nightmare! I have to Add some of the staff downstairs are very nice and i enjoy going downstairs more than living in my room. Huge issue there your room is supposed to be your safe Haven not a fight to breathe. 😞

Camp Trickling Falls is a really good place and my daughter loves it. We did the family night and she was so excited to show us all the activities she’s doing and the friends she’s made since attending. The counselors were very friendly and my daughter likes them all. She’s very happy everyday to go and even more happy when she wakes up to return. This is a very nice place for children and I would recommend the camp and YMCA to everyone.

This Y is generally ok, but becomes unusable after 5 pm when the teenagers roll in. The gym etiquette isn't great, people tend to leave weights around and stuff isn't reracked. I also got yelled at by some rando for taking a work call in the weight room. It's like the meaningless rules are enforced but the ones that keep the gym usable are not. Staff have all been nice. Severely overpriced if you are just going to lift.

Im very thankful for the YMCA. My children go to their child care program and I have nothing but great things to say about the caring and engaging stuff. Seriously I appreciate them more than they’ll ever know!! The Y facility is nice as well, plenty of machines to use, clean pretty pool and awesome big basketball court.
