Horrible customer service. I went in to cancel my membership at the Eastlongmeadow gym and the tall white front desk person thats there around 7 everytime I go was very rude. I was waiting for her to finish her long conversation with another person and while I waited she took care of 4 other people never acknowledging me. I finally said hi i'm here to cancel my membership and she very rudely said im gonna need you to hang up the phone in order to cancel your membership. Quit your job if your not happy cause you definitely should not be at front desk with that nasty attitude.

Horrible gym, they should rename the place Healthtrax Daycare with all the 13 year old high school kids who are constantly tickling each other being obnoxious. When the problem was brought to management, they told me I should probably cancel my membership. Also please enjoy the 40+ year old carpets in the locker rooms which are probably capable of transmitting diseases through your shoes.

I have been a Longmeadow JCC member since 1994 and swam there almost every day until it closed on November 19, 2022 due to a fire.
I hoped JCC would reopen soon, but the newsletter said it will take at least six months, so I drove to JCC in West Hartford. 40 minutes drive is too far for routine daily exercise, luckily I met an old friend who told me to try Healthtrax in East Longmeadow.
I am really grateful for this wonderful facility that welcomed JCC members, especially the front desk people: Mike and Tiffany. They're very friendly and cheerful.
The pools with different temperatures are amazing, the therapy pool is warm enough for retirees to float around without feeling cold, the spa is great for relaxing after a swim.
I'm really very grateful for Healthtrax.

I have worked with Heather for almost 2 years now and could not be happier. Her positive attitude is better than any preworkout on the market. I have limitations in my workouts due to ankle issues and she had always been extremely cautious/conscious of preventing injuries. I would and have been asked, to join this gym but the equipment is extremely outdated for the cost of membership. For an owner to charge this much and not update every five years as the norm, is taking advantage of the current members who obviously have not been to other gyms in the area.

Nice gym .Not good when it's adult swim and 4 .13 year olds . Also people bringing in babies and 5 children into the handicapped pool.
Very inconsiderate rude people who go there.
They have the while Olympic sized pool to go in but refuse.

Are being inconsiderate in the arthritis pool.
Spoke to management 2x will again.
Shouldn't have to have 13byear old boys splashing elders in arthritis pool

I have been a member of this gym for two years now and have loved everything they have to offer. The trainers are friendly and always willinh to help. They also have a wide variety of equipment to use from steppers to weights to classes to a 25 meter pool, they have it all. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a gym

I have gone to many gyms and I am a huge fan of this one. It is enormous with tons of equipment so you can almost always find a machine you want to use! It is not a gym where you have to fight for space. It has a great vibe too. Definitely a non judgemental space to work out which I appreciate. I would definitely say it is a great space for beginners. They have circuits set up everyone can do, tons of classes, raquetball courts, saunas and a pool in addition to a functional turf, stretching area, weights room and machines and cardio deck. If you are interested in personal training you get a free hour assessment. They also have cool towels in a fridge for when you leave! It is a bit more expensive then a Planet Fitness, but for the perks it is worth it.

I’ve been a member of the Healthtrax in East Longmeadow for two years and when I moved away and needed to cancel my membership, the staff gave me the run around for TWO MONTHS and then charged me $70 for it!

I called numerous times to cancel my account, since I had moved to NY and could no longer come in. Each time a representative would tell me the account specialist was “with another customer” and would call me back. I explained my situation of no longer being in area and that it would be difficult to cancel my account in person and the rep said her manager would be able to take care of it. After 7 calls and finally getting through to an account specialist, I was told I have a balance of $64 (since the time I attempted to cancel my membership) and that I would still need to come into the location to process the cancellation (an aggressive tactic to prevent people from cancelling and to extort additional fees from members), because guess what, I take out a $500,000 mortgage without having to be in person, it is certainly not a technology limitation, it is a choice to discourage members from being able to cancel. It has been an extremely disappointing experience dealing with these scum bags.

There are plenty of better options for gyms out there. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

I've been a member since 2002. It's a bit pricey, but most insurance companies offer partial reimbursement for the club fees. For many of us it's as much a social workout as a physical one. Lots of nice folks are members.
