As a mother with young children, I have extremely limited time to myself outside of the house on a weekly basis, and I choose to spend that time at HOME. It is a place not only of physical wellness, but also of deep introspection and building a mental and emotional connection with yourself.
Kristin (HOME's owner) is an unparalleled instructor and educator. Her classes encourage you to approach your practice with discipline and honesty, allowing you to support your wellbeing while learning about yourself on and off the mat. She has created a vibrant, engaged, and welcoming community in the studio, filled with support and understanding and free of the modern pressures for yoga to be simply an aesthetic practice.
HOME’s schedule offers countless opportunities to engage your yoga practice at whatever level you are or want to be. All of the instructors bring unique voices and perspectives that bring their classes to life.
What’s more, there are frequently workshops, special classes, and events added to the calendar that offer exciting experiences like breaking down complex postures and inversions, expanding your understanding of the philosophical elements of yoga, and experiencing the immense benefits of restorative practice.
I have also previously completed the 200 Hour yoga teacher training at HOME; it was a transformative experience where I saw my personal practice and love of yoga blossom as we dove deep into engaging modules across the limbs of yoga. I look forward to participating in the 300 Hour YTT in the future.
I have been a student at HOME in Andover for over a decade, and I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who is looking to start, evolve, or fall back in love with their yoga practice.

Today was my first visit to Home Yoga. Great experience! Tabitha was a great instructor and I actually managed a headstand for the first time. Studio was clean and inviting. I’ll be back.

I’ve been taking classes at Home Yoga for two weeks now and have noticed a discernible improvement in my posture and overall range of motion. I wish I had discovered this place sooner. I had done yoga in the past at other studios but this place is so far the best one. I bring my own yoga mat but they have everything you need from straps to blankets and blocks. Kristin is an exceptional and passionate instructor who’s invested in the growth of her clients. I really enjoy her classes because they are well balanced; just when you’re feeling the intense burn from holding a tough pose, and are ready to abandon it, she changes it up to give the body a quick break and then goes right back to challenging you. You then find yourself pulling and twisting yourself in ways where the body fights back, illuminating the fact that your body is much tighter than you had previously imagined.
While I’m not a fan of taking classes virtually, Home Yoga offers them for those who can’t make it to the studio.
As someone who is still learning the art and nomenclature of yoga, I love that I can go at my own pace. I haven’t taken classes with anyone else but Kristen, though that’s mostly because my schedule has aligned better with Kristen’s class schedule at the moment. That said, I can unequivocally say that this place is the real deal: they are professional, clean, and bona fide practitioners of yoga. I would also like to point out that other men attend classes too, underscoring the fact that yoga is for everyone and Home Yoga does an exceptional job at making me feel included.
As a present martial artist and prior bodybuilding enthusiast, I can say that Home Yoga was the missing element in my journey to overcoming and healing new and old injuries. I’m on my way to correcting anterior pelvic tilt (APT) and a torn labrum in my shoulder.
In conclusion, this place has a lot to offer. Whole Foods is down the street as well. Parking is free. Not only do they offer an incredible trial offer for new clients, the drop-in rate is only $20. Remember, health is wealth! Namaste

Home yoga is amazing. Not only are the instructors incredible, supportive, knowledgeable, kind and encouraging, but the community of practitioners is also so inviting and warm. Home Yoga provides a place of calm and centered focus and is a welcome respite from whatever else may be happening. I fell madly in love with yoga through my experience here - and practicing with them continues to be some of the moments I am most excited for each day. I never knew how many benefits yoga could have - I am so grateful to my teachers and look forward to continuing my practice with their support every step of the way!

The teacher tailored the class to our needs. She always demonstrated each pose before we did them and shared where and why is was important to the body. I left the class feeling both reinvigorated and relaxed.

The beginners class was exactly what I was looking for. It was my first yoga class ever, and the instructor was super patient with me. All of the moves were explained perfectly. I was completely comfortable and got exactly what I wanted out of the class. I will be back!!

Convenient location, friendly people and knowledgeable staff. I love taking the Hatha class with Yoshi, she is such a good instructor. I wish I could attend more frequently than just Saturdays, but the only other Hatha class times are during the day when I'm at work. I'm just not skilled enough to take the flow classes.

Kristin’s cues are both subtle and clear, and her sequences are thoughtful and challenging. Her knowledge of anatomy and yoga philosophy is evident, and her blog “Straight to Down Dog” is helpful for learning more about yoga and wellness. And Kristin is amazing – her manner is both professional and caring.
If you’re looking for top notch yoga without having to travel to Boston, you just found it :) See you there!

Home Yoga is appropriately named for being an inviting, comfortable and soothing place to practice. Kristen, Vito and Anthony are exceptional instructors who find a balance between challenging and supporting their students. After each session I feel rejuvenated and I look forward to the next class.

i think we all come to our mats looking to peel back a few layers so that our best might shine through. kristin's skillful approach quietly facilitates that clearing. her deep knowledge and teaching style have a way of sculpting you in to each and every pose and keeping you curious all the while. also, kristin and others on her teaching team hail from that jen ryan lineage of purposeful sequencing. it makes all the difference! the more popular yoga becomes, the more of a challenge it is to find that authenticity among instructors. home... this must be the place. a welcome addition to the north of boston yoga community!

Kristen Olsen offers an amazing experience at Home Yoga. I had been going to "gym" yoga for over a year, and thought I knew what yoga was all about. I was recommended to Home Yoga by someone I work with, and I am glad I took her advice! I am stronger and more flexible than I have been in the last 10 years. Kristan offers gentle guidance focusing on alingment and steady growth through practice. The atmosphere is intimate and personal. Anthony and Karen round out the awesome staff so that you can experience consistency combined with personal style to keep things interesting and challenging. I highly recommend anyone who is a beginner or a seasoned practitioner to make a visit to Home Yoga in Andover.

Kristin’s instruction is precise, thorough and motivating. I particularly like the way she builds a sequence to a challenging pose. She urges her students to do a little more each session and I’m holding poses now that I couldn’t do a year ago. Kristin’s studio is an oasis of calm for me.

I have been going to this studio since it opened and have enjoyed every class!!! The studio itself is very welcoming and calming and of course the teachers are wonderful there. I leave every class feeling like I was challenged but also feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. And the Sunday evening Restorative yoga class is so refreshing and the best start to a work week I could think of. The only downside is I wish it were closer to my work or apartment so I could go more often!

I have been practicing with Kristen for 3 years now and feel very lucky to have met her. Her knowledge of yoga, the human anatomy and the manner in which she leads you through a practice is exceptional.
We all hope to find someone or a studio that can inspire you to continue the journey of yoga, while healing your body and mind. Kristen and her team are exceptional in all categories and I would highly recommend her and the studio to anyone.
She has surrounded herself with amazing instructors and you certainly know you are in the right place when you spend a little time at "Home".

I have been to several classes at HOME Yoga and they have all been wonderful! This is real yoga that is challenging and intelligent. All of the teachers are great and they each have their own style so it's always different and fun. They offer classes for all levels. I usually do the intermediate/advanced classes but my husband, who always wanted to try yoga but was too scared, started taking the beginner classes here that are led by Kristin, the owner, and he is now hooked on yoga!
