I've been doing 26+2 for decades all over the country. HYCC is as good as it gets anywhere. Christian must really hire well or train well as every instructor is passionate, professional and patient. Change your life, get there 60 times over three months and enjoy your new body without a stomach shot.

Classes have quickly become a crucial part of my week.
All the teachers I have had--Elise, Lisa, Jill, Laura, Christian—are patient and supportive, ready to encourage us to do what we can but also ready to give very helpful advice. I think it says a lot about the studio that I feel comfortable choosing my classes according to my schedule needs, knowing that any of the teachers will welcome me and lead a fabulous class.

I have been a member of HYCC since the first day they opened, and it's been one of the most challenging, healthy, friendly and fun communities I've enjoyed in my lifetime.

The combination of classes is a perfect blend of strength, stretching, flexibility and focus. Everything you could ever need or want for your beautiful body and mind!

Practicing on zoom today, and felt like I had a private class with Laura. Her command and deliverance of the dialogue is exceptional! Glad to have this option and opportunity to practice at home.

Hot Yoga Cape Cod is the best studio I’ve ever been to. I’ve been practicing 26/2 for a decade now and it is by far the cleanest, most welcoming and professional space I’ve had the pleasure of practicing at. All the instructors are kind, precise and encouraging. It is truly a pleasure to be a part of the HYCC community.

I started Hot Yoga Cape Cod's two-week Welcome Special on March 26 after a three-year hiatus. I was never really a hot yoga regular anywhere, but had dabbled in it over the last 15 years. I completed two 30-day challenges in that time and dropped into studios around the world whenever I wanted a good sweat.

Now I'm 59 and hot yoga is just a completely different thing for me on the mental, physical and spiritual levels. I've completed 10 classes in 15 days with Christian and his team - as much as I felt I could do without injuring myself or getting sick. I am amazed at how much strength, flexibility and balance I lost during the idle years of Covid, but Christian and his team are unfailingly supportive and encouraging. At the same time, they carefully emphasize that you need to listen to your own body, respecting your limits and refraining from comparing yourself with others.

During the first week I breathed audibly through my mouth, unable to avoid gasping and even groaning. I felt not only bad and embarrassed about what I could do, but sorry for myself. After listening to the teachers about how breathing through your nose helps slow the heart rate and calm the body, I learned to breathe quietly through my nose most of the time. I understand I can be satisfied with whatever happens in class, even if it feels like I made no progress, as long as I'm putting in my best effort.

Now, two weeks later, it's wonderful to be able to hold a posture - even for a short time - that I couldn't consider the first day. My soreness and lightheadedness are softening. I sleep incredibly well and my mood is greatly improved. I'm making better choices about food, and I'm starting to approach other areas of my life with improved dedication, which feels good.

So, it's early days, but I feel I may finally have found a way to take care of myself. Hot yoga is hard to do, if you're doing it right, but the benefits are worth the effort. Now that I've finished my Welcome Special I've signed up for a month of unlimited classes, and I look forward to the changes to come.

Thank you, Christian and the Hot Yoga Cape Cod team!

Have you ever taken a yoga class that made you understand so deeply how your body is working? I'm a student of HYCC and love the classes, the welcoming community and high quality of the teachers and their instruction. Yoga classes at HYCC keep my body and soul together!

Today I got up the courage to take the "Intermediate" class. BTW anyone could take it - the instruction is so strong as is the respect for where you are. Plus, a serious and lighthearted vibe in the room. Anyway, wow did I get a lot of insights in that class! I can't wait to work on some things in the beginner class and also to revisit the intermediate class.

If you're thinking about taking yoga, please give this studio a try. Yes, the heat takes some getting used to as does the practice, but doing so under the guidance of terrific teachers makes it all work.

I started going to Hot Yoga Cape Cod over a year ago, before the pandemic hit. I had started doing Bikram Yoga about 20 years ago. I was hooked from my first class. I have moved around a bit, and wasn't always close to a studio, so I haven't practiced solidly for 20 years, but for alot of those years.

This is a really good studio, staffed by dedicated teachers. Its hot yoga, not bikram, but its close.

I highly recommend the studio to anyone who is reading this review.

Its a really well run studio, the heat works all of the time, the teachers care.

I have temporarily relocated because of the pandemic, but am looking forward to re-joining as soon as I'm living closer to the studio.

If you're on the fence, try it. Its one of the best practices one can do for one's health. It changed my life for the better, and it may yours as well.

I’m a senior who has been practicing Bikram yoga for six years. At BYCC, I found a place where all ages and body types are welcomed and represented.  Lee Mara, the owner, is a caring, enthusiastic teacher. Personally, Ive seen significant cardiovascular and muscular improvement in a friendly and comfortable environment. If you’ve never tried Bikram, this is the place to start.

Great studio with an awesome owner who knows how to make things right if anything should go wrong. Got my wife a new student gift card for Valentines day and she couldn't be happier.

I moved to the Cape from CT and it never quite felt like "home" until I began practicing at this studio. What a blessing to belong to this wonderful community at Bikram Yoga Cape Cod. The new owner (of a few years now) has given our studio a major facelift...it's squeeky clean and just beautiful!! She has even added Inferno Hot Pilates (best workout EVER) and Hot Yin (yummy restorative yoga in a warm room) to the schedule and our community has never been bigger and more alive.
If you're looking for a place to connect to yourself and others, and to have fun all-the-while, look no further than this gem on historic Route 6A in West Barnstable. I can't recommend this studio enough.

Convenient AND on the Cape!?!? Hard to believe, but true. And Hot, and clean, well staffed and welcoming, I found this Gem offseason and it was PACKED for a reason! (And not just because it was the warmest place for miles in the middle of multiple Nor'easters!) Great place to drop some sweat!
