I’ve been training with Coach Peter at Impact Metrowest since March 2024, and it’s been an incredible experience. I started going by myself, but over time I brought my wife and two kids — now it’s become a family thing we all look forward to. Peter is an amazing coach: knowledgeable, motivating, and always focused on helping you get stronger and healthier. He also emphasizes healthy eating and overall wellness, not just workouts.

The whole team is fantastic — Tiff and Zach are awesome coaches who bring great energy and support every time we’re in the gym. You can tell everyone here genuinely cares about helping you reach your goals. Highly recommend!

Peter and all the coaches really listen to their clients and give 100%! I am in my late 50s and pretty active but was dealing with so much arthritis pain that was limiting movement in my daily life. It’s been about 6 months working with coach Peter and I have been able to get back to hiking and running and anything that I want to do. I am even going to try my first Hyrox event next month. The training programming at Impact has set me up to so much stronger, balanced and mobile!

I’ve been training at Impact Metrowest for over three months, and they’ve absolutely delivered. Peter and his team know their stuff.

I’m in my 40s with very little prior gym experience. After spending much of the past year in physical therapy and specialist visits for worsening lower back pain, I was determined to rebuild my strength, not just to manage pain, but to make fitness enjoyable and sustainable.

I’ve primarily trained 1:1 with Tiff, who’s phenomenal - knowledgeable, motivating, and an absolute joy to work with. She pushed me to train harder while catching subtle strength imbalances, often aligning (and even going beyond) what my PT and doctor had previously identified. I’ve also trained with Peter and Zach, who each bring their own expertise and attention to detail. They’re approachable, encouraging, and truly invested in helping you improve. Most of their clients have been training here for a long time, and it’s easy to see why.

Three months in, I’m noticeably stronger, and my lower back pain has improved dramatically. More importantly, I’ve gained confidence and I'm building a mindset that I want to get stronger not just to avoid pain, but because I can.

If you’re on the fence, don’t overthink it. Just go for it. It’s absolutely worth the investment.

Coaches Peter, Tiffany and Zach have shown themselves to be exceptional instructors and I am so glad that I joined Impact a month and a half ago!

I appreciate their knowledge, patience, encouragement, willingness to work with each student to modify workouts if needed, constant advice, and steadfast dedication to what they do.

Coach Tiffany’s nutrition group has been wonderful and staying on point with it has made my body feel so good! This along with the workouts 5 days/week have truly helped my body be healthiest it’s been so far. In addition, Coach Tiffany is so wonderful at really giving students that special attention to make sure we are training correctly. She’s loving but tough!

Coach Zach is the one I spend the most time with as I go to 3 of his classes her week and they are awesome! He’s very encouraging and helps me through difficult moments during the workouts, which I truly appreciate. He’s knowledgeable and makes sure that we are each doing our best. His positive attitude is contagious and gets us through the workouts!

Last, but certainly not least, thank you to Coach Peter for being so accepting of how we all show up to class, I value that very much. Thank you for sharing your knowledge (with your emails!) and really showing a high level of care for all your students. And your Jordan is the icing on the cake!

The group classes are small and while each Coach brings his/her own personality and style to the training, they complement each other very well. The feeling I get after I am done with each class is what keeps me coming back!

I enjoyed my previous gym and thought I was getting good instruction in the small group training sessions. However, staffing changes and inconsistent class schedules led me to look for a new gym. Since joining Impact I’ve blown away by the dedication and knowledge of Coach Tiff, Zach and Peter. Impact group training is head and shoulders above what I had experienced! The individual attention and coaching even when in a class with 6 to 8 others is truly amazing. They know their stuff and you can be sure your form is spot on! I have been involved in fitness for over 25 years in a variety of activities, from martial arts to sports to strength training. I walked in 1.5 yrs ago very skeptical, just needing a place to get my head and health right.

Over time, Coaches Peter, Tiff, and Zach demonstrated their commitment to be the best in the business. Their knowledge base, teaching skills, and work ethic is inspiring. Their focus on functional strength, mobility, and explosiveness training was exactly what I was needed (though I didn’t know it at the time). The small class settings combine the value of personal training with the joy of being part of a community. I’ve made friends with common interests and tease the coaches about their insta posts.

They set up a training structure in which everyone can follow and adjust based on their individual needs. When I wanted to focus on upping my deadlift/sqyats, they customized a program just for me. If I miss a day, they text to ask me if everything’s ok!

In conclusion, the team here at Impact MetroWest has done nothing short of helping me to be the best version of myself. They have helped me build strength, power, coordination, and most of all resilience to both physical and mental issues. I’m very grateful to the team here and want to make sure you (the future teammate), know how great they are.

I was looking to get back into my fitness journey after sustaining a severe nerve injury in my right leg. The Coaches at Impact welcomed me with such enthusiasm and encouragement I knew right away this was the place for me. In the group training sessions, they took the time to modify exercises and movements for me to help build a strong foundation that I could continue to progress from. About 10 months later I am lifting heavier than I ever imagined, and moving not only in the gym, but in life virtually pain free and better than I ever have. The Coaches here provide not only advice on how to progress fitness-wise, but also with your nutrition, breathing, sleep, and your general well-being. On top of the amazing Coaches, the other members in the gym have become amazing friends, and even more amazing supporters. The Coaches and other members make for such an amazing environment, it's hard to stay out of the gym! I joined Impact in August of 2024. I figured I would give it a try after taking an assessment with coach Peter. His knowledge and approach seemed very different from other gyms. It takes a lot to exceed my expectations, but Impact has done exactly that. This gym will transform the way to live. I have had back issues all my life, and not once did any trainer talk about the connection between hip mobility and back pain. After only a month my back was pain free and I was seeing drastic improvements in my overall physical shape. Impact is not a place where you just work out, they will help you with nutrition and physical limitations. They truly care about your overall health, which is refreshing in the current world we live in. It's been 6 months now since I have joined Impact, and I'm in the best shape of my life. I was very hesitant and indecisive about changing gyms but three months ago I decided to make the change and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Coach Peter, Tiff, and Zach all welcomed me right away and have been the best coaches/teachers I have had. They are all so patient in showing me how to do certain exercises the right way without making me feel insecure. I already see a difference in body and my confidence. I've always been active -- whether I'm doing landscaping work out in the yard, playing soccer or splitting wood for the winter. But, when I hit my 40s, I have struggled to play a full season of men's recreational soccer without injury and often have some weird pain after doing other strenuous activities.

Since joining IMPACT, some chronic pains have gone away and I'm feeling more stable and flexible than ever. What I was missing was working on strength, balance and coordinated compound body movements.

I have joined and gone to other gyms before, even did guided exercise routines at home, but IMPACT's program has given me the flexibility and movement that free weights and weight machines didn't.

Even after training as a collegiate athlete, I never really learned the right form for many exercises... until IMPACT. The trainers at IMPACT pay close attention and make sure our form is correct as classes proceed.

I'm looking forward to getting back out on the soccer pitch in the spring faster and stronger than ever.

If you’re looking to get in shape and lose some weight, Impact MetroWest is the place to train. I’ve been a member for 3 years now and I love the family atmosphere they’ve created along with top notch training and nutrition programs that are available to me. Coach Peter along with Coach Tiff and Zach are fired up and alway looking to improve my mobility and health.

I’ve tried many diets over the years and lost weigh, but gained it back. The past two months, I decided to try the individual nutrition program with Coach Tiff. She has helped me with creating a meal plan that is designed around the foods I like while introducing new foods that have helped me lose weight while gaining muscle. I’ve I lost 15 lbs so far, I feel amazing and look amazing. I’ve learned how to eat right while still being able to treat myself on the weekends. Most importantly, I have learned how to maintain my weight which had been so helpful. Thanks to my coaches, I look forward to my 3rd phase which is to lose 10 more lbs so I can reach my goal of losing 25 lbs.

My partner and I started going to this gym about 7 weeks ago and the transformation has been nothing short of amazing! I started with sore knees and the coaches are slowly helping me to build muscle mass around my knees so I can lift more and live life without knee pain - it's working and I'm seeing improvements with every session. I'm eating healthier and feeling increased confidence as I trade body fat for increased muscle mass. My headspace is better than it's been in the past 2 years as result of the work I'm putting in at the gym and I feel incredible support by the coaches to continue pushing myself in the gym even with a knee injury to work around. This place is truly awesome! I come train with Coach Peter every single week and its lifted my physical health, mental health, and emotional and spiritual health. These coaches are unlike others in the sense where they promote much more than just the exercise itself. They tell me whats going on with the body, down to the specific muscles and engrain that everything is connected from the hip to the knee to the ankles. They truly love their job and I can see that through the dedication to go to workshops out of town and come in and use those techniques to further help their clients on a daily basis. So hardworking! I cannot express enough gratitude for Coach Peter's guidance in my journey to loose 18 lbs and find myself. As his life partner, he never imposed his knowledge or tried to take on the role of my coach. Instead, he patiently waited until I came to him with questions, always offering support when I needed it.

One pivotal moment was when I asked him why I was gaining weight despite doing everything right, such as never changed on my diet and had a very active lifestyle such as pilates and yoga five times a week. His response was simple yet transformative: "It’s all about the nutrition. As we age, doing the same thing that you did before no longer works.” That advice shifted my focus, and with his encouragement, I installed a food journaling app to track my intake and activities. It was a game-changer, opening my eyes to the importance of nutrition and the little things that mattered in my diet. For example, my coconut water that is only 110 calories a bottle does add up if I take 2 a day, in addition to my coffee. That was really helpful in achieving my goals.

Over the course of 2.5 months, I lost 18 pounds—a feat I wouldn’t have achieved without his subtle yet profound support. He never told me what to do, but his insights and encouragement helped me succeed on my terms. Thank you, Coach Peter, for your wisdom and patience. You made a world of difference in my journey!

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the team at Impact Metrowest! I was once a swimmer and runner, occasionally hit the gym (without really knowing what I was doing), ate well enough (so I thought), and stayed fairly thin throughout most of my 40s. Then the pandemic hit, family obligations became more of a focus, and I crossed the line into my 50s. I had put on 25 pounds in a few short years and found it difficult to motivate. Feeling sorry for oneself without the motivation to facilitate change was not a happy place to be.

In August 2023 I tore myself from the couch and visited Impact, not really knowing what to expect. I met Coach Peter and felt encouraged by his enthusiasm and understanding. But what really sold me was finding a community of like-minded folks from all walks of life, people who I've come to regard as kindred spirits. Coach Peter introduced me to the other coaches, Tiff and Zach, all three of whom have since turned my life on its head.

It's been 7 months since I started. At 53 I've never felt better, never looked better. I've become obsessed with improving my strength, endurance, and general well-being through proper form, nutrition, breath, mindfulness - all thanks to Coaches Peter, Tiff, and Zach. Ongoing assessments, workshops, motivating emails and texts, the encouragement of others in the Impact community... I could not have asked for more.

I started attending Impact about 9 months ago after my wife sent me a link to check out this local gym with great reviews. After a few classes I was hooked and have been going ever since. The coaches are great and will tailor the workout to any fitness level.

I was suffering with a muscular issue with my shoulder for about 6 months before joining. I had tried stretching, the chiropractor and exercising on my own but nothing helped. After about of month with Impact I was feeling real improvements and now it’s basically a non issue.

The coaches are great! They have genuine interest in your success and helping you stick to your fitness goals as well as goals concerning nutrition and mental health. Would highly recommend giving Impact a try!

Impact metrowest is exactly what i need for my health and wellness. I am in my early 50s and want to stay active. Impact has the invested personal touch i need. I did try other gyms in the area before this. Some of them are beautiful. Impact is not. Dont let that discourage you. This place is transformational. I need the personal encouragment, guidance and attention pete, tiff and zach offer.

My body compsition is moving from fat to fit at a rate of 1% a month.

I cannot imagine a better place for me and helping me to life a healthy life. Tiff and zach thank you for your perfect encouragement. The member community is very engouraging and supportive. I started Impact Northwest

I recently had my hip replaced and find that my recovery has been significantly impacted - in a positive way - because of the strength work put in at Impact prior to surgery. The pre and post surgery exercises are similar to what we did in the classes. Impact makes a didference!!

I started going to Impact MW about 3 years ago and started when I was 14. At first, I was super iffy on working out in groups because I hated working out in front of people, until I started coming here. Although I am one of the youngest people that train here, I love love waking up to go to early morning sessions and seeing the “morning crew.” I also like that this is a gym where you’re friends with everyone and can joke around through a workout unlike other gyms where you always feel like you’re in someone’s way. %1000 a non-judgmental gym. Coach Tiff, Peter and Zach definitely hold you accountable and make sure you’re coming in. They have amazing energy and modify workouts for you if you need it, since I play multiple sports, I’ve seen so much improvement all across the board. Definitely recommend

I was having this annoying tingling feeling in both hands and trust me it’s the most annoying feeling ever. When I first met with coach Peter he was very clear in communicating what we would be working on and how we will get to the goal I wanted. Thin is not necessarily well. I learned that the hard way. I have been obese and suffered from back pain for most of my life. After losing over 100 pounds, I realized that I had also lost a lot of muscle. I could no longer lift a 50# bag of dog food and tired easily. I ran the Boston Marathon in 2016 after spending thousands of dollars on physical therapy to get me to the finish line. I came to Peter to help me run faster. I got SO much more! Coach Peter and Duncan have worked to keep my body aligned,and to stretch, strengthen and stabilize. I just feel stronger, my posture has improved and my lower back is almost 100% pain free.
