I absolutely love the small group trainings (tailored for my age group, over 60) provided by the Irwin team. Kris fills each session with challenging exercises to promote strength, cardio and balance. I look forward to our sessions and walk out of them feeling empowered. It feels like a very personalized experience even though I am in a small group!

Irwin Fitness is amazing. I really appreciate Chris, Shannon and Patrick and their commitment and attention to the individual needs of each trainee. As an older woman who loves to stay active, the program that Chris has designed for me and other woman in my age group is not only beneficial to my long term health and well-being it is also truly fun. Unlike other small group training programs I have participated in, the Irwin Fitness program is the one I always look forward to going to. And, I have seen great results in just a few months. An amazing community is what comes to mind when I think of Irwin Fitness. I joined Irwin Fitness 8 months ago after looking in town for group workout classes, and am so happy I found this gym!

Chris, Shannon, and Patrick are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and I can say I've been consistently motivated to come to class each day. I am someone who enjoys the structure and accountability of a set schedule. They change the training programs every few weeks, and always offer modifications based on the needs of each individual of the group. The community is fantastic, with a range of all ages in class. They offer several membership options, as well as 1:1, which makes it flexible for any schedule.

I most appreciate their oversight and direction, and appreciate their tweaks in form or other recommendations for an even better workout. They truly know their clients' needs, and it shows. 8 months later, I still look forward to each class and leave feeling strong and accomplished for what we fit into each class!

I have had the opportunity to take group classes run by Chris, Shannon and Patrick over the last nine months. All three trainers are professional, knowledgeable and are great motivators throughout the class. They know when to push, but also have a strong emphasis on form and injury prevention. If you are new to strength training, this is an awesome place to learn how to lift safely to get the results you want. If you are an experienced lifter, they will help push you to a more effective level of strength training. The trainers will adapt exercises to any needs or experience levels which makes it accessible for anyone at any level. Try a class, you won't regret it!

Joining Irwin Fitness was literally one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and wellness! At 71 years old, needing a hip replacement for more than 6 months I really lost my way, physically, due to pain. Went to Irwin’s for three months prior to the replacement thinking, in better shape going into surgery would result in a faster recovery.
To make a long story short, it really worked for me. After 4 days I was walking g with no assistance, at 5 weeks post surgery, my PT informed me I’m now done with PT and return Irwin Fittness for weight training. Now at 7 weeks PS I’m closing in on felling 100% better. Anticipating playing golf, pickball, swimming laps, adding in yoga and continuing with weight training.
The team at Irwin has been great, they got me doing physical exercises I had no idea I no idea I was ready for. And it really worked!
Strongly recommend for anyone interested in getting in better health and shape!

I started with Irwin fitness July 2023, doing some one on one sessions as exercise groups have always intimidated me. From day one, I was impressed with the health, nutrition and exercise knowledge of both Chris and Shannon. I joined a group session in January 2024, and it is the best decision I’ve made in regards to my health. My cholesterol is down, my weight has dropped and my strength, endurance and confidence have greatly improved . I feel so much better overall and I look forward to my classes each week. Whether it’s Chris, Shannon or Patrick ( he’s also amazing) , you can’t go wrong! They encourage, motivate and are always there to tweak or modify so we stay injury free, which is why small classes work well. Each session brings something new, so it’s never dull. We have a great group of people in each class, we cheer each other on, work hard, but still manage to laugh a lot. Give it a try, it’s really worth it!

I joined Irwin Fitness in January 2024 with specific health and fitness goals. The instructors (Chris, Shannon, and Patrick) have years of experience and are extremely knowledgeable. They know exactly what I need to do to meet and exceed each goal set while ensuring proper technique, execution and safety. Every member is treated as an individual with workouts targeted to their needs. There are no “cookie cutter” classes or workouts. The instructors constantly introduce new workouts to challenge each member. The atmosphere at Irwin Fitness is very friendly and upbeat. It’s truly a good time and I highly recommend checking it out!

I started with Shannon and Chris in August of 2023. Patrick was added into the mix. I haven’t worked with him as much but he is always so supportive. In a year they have helped me crush so many goals and build an abundance of confidence. I have done 1:1, groups classes, & their 12 week health coaching program. Irwin fitness is more than a gym it is a community. The kind of community that has no judgement and everyone roots for each other. You can’t help but feel like you are at home. I know that in this last year I have put in a lot of work, but I can’t take all the credit, the three of us did it together. I cant say enough about this family. The Irwin family wants to change your life.. you will never feel alone. When you think you don’t have one more lunge in you Shannon will be cheering you on and remind you how badass you are.
On top of their support, dedication to helping you reach your goals, and the amazing environment they provide, they’re also a family run business! It doesn’t get any better than that!

When I joined the small groups at Irwin Fitness 5 months ago, I definitely made the best/right decision. Chris, Patrick and Shannon effectively and patiently share their wealth of fitness knowledge with their clients. Limiting the small groups to 6 people allows the Irwin Team to routinely correct our form and keep us safe. They have created a nice balance of encouraging us to add more to our workouts without pushing too hard. We have been with Irwin Fitness for over two years, and what I love most is the personalized approach to each of my sessions. We work towards my goals and tailor the workouts to help meet them. My body composition has completely changed in those two years because consistency truly pays off. We did a nutrition counseling package at the beginning as well, and what I loved most about that was talk of what we could add rather than take away. We found out what worked best in terms of balance for us to make small changes that would add up. And I am so happy we took the leap. My entire family has worked out with Chris and Shannon from my 68 year old mother to my 14 year old son. We all have benefitted from going to Irwin Fitness.

I have been going to the Christine Irwin (and really the whole Irwin family) for the past 2.5 months. I started as an individual and now the wife and I go together. As a person who was mostly sedentary I have become interested in physical fitness primarily because of the supportive and motivational environment the Irwin's encourage. As a lifelong runner, I mostly considered myself to be pretty in shape. As I got into my mid 30s, things started to hurt more and feel worse instead of better after exercise. I started with the Irwins just based on a friends recommendation that I talk to them for a specific pain that I was dealing with. Six months later, I can’t imagine my life without them. They have taught me everything I know about weight training and why it’s important and their workouts are personalized, tailored to you/your group, and keep you on your toes.
