I would like to comment on the review that Miss Tanya's School of Dance received. What the individual did not mention in his comment is that the stduio has a make-up class policy that is explanined verbally when a student registers, it is also in all of our newsletters that are handed out to each student monthly, on our web-site, facebook and also in our brochure. The policy states: ALL students are allowed to take 7 FREE make-up classes in advance from September until February 28th 2015 (which was an extended date because of all of the bad weather we had this past winter, which we can not control) for their first class and one additional FREE make-up class for each additional class taken. These FREE classes are offered to offset any missed classes due to illness, SNOW Days, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, Dress Rehearsal and Recital. Please note that February & April school vacation weeks are not included in make-up classes, as they are not part of your yearly tuition. It is the responsibility of the student or parent to come to the counter and schedule their own make-up classes. If you take advantage of the make-up policy, you would gain extra classes in the course of the annual season. Also due to the fact that we had to cancel classes on Monday, because of weather, we did offer an additional make-up class on Monday, April 20th 2015 during the April School Vacation, for Monday students only. We did check the attendance record for the additional class on Monday and this individuals daughter was present. We do our best to commuicate our policies and we can not control if a client chooses not to ask our fornt counter staff or call the studio to schedule the FREE classes that are offered to them from the months of September - Febraury. We cannot offer make-up classes after the month of February, as students are working on their class recital routines and would not know the rouitne if they attended an additional class other than their own. We have been in business for many years and do our best to try to please all of our clients, but no mater what I said or tried to explain to this individual he would not listen. If you would like to read other reviews please visit our web-site.
Thank you
Miss Tammy
