Update to September 2024 review (below): I visited Nauset Fit back in July 2025 while visiting friends for an extended stay. Returned to Nauset Fit for my workouts and was so happy to see that something had shifted in management since my prior visit. There was an obvious shift toward cleaning treadmills, ellipticals, other aerobic workout equipment, floorspace, etc. I was so impressed that I asked the front staff if the gym had been sold to a new owner or whether they had a significant shift in management. She replied that the gym hadn't been sold but they did have a new team of staff and new dedication to upkeep of the overall gym. So noticeable to me that I am now finally returning to my 2024 review to update to 5 stars. Great job to your entire team!

September 2024 Review:
Offers all of the equipment I need for my workouts (treadmills, elliptical, free weights, dumbbells and a variety of machines). Space is tight for treadmills, etc. Cost is reasonable for visitors, especially the 10 day pass which never expires. Generally a clean enough space overall but treadmills and other aerobic equipment look like they haven’t had a good cleaning in a long, long time. Rating for this is about a 2. Staff seem to be on hand, but maybe they are not asked to clean. Could take a lesson from everyday practices of the Plant Fitness franchise model.

The staff and owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful, always happy to help and talk.

There's a lot of improvements, repainting the women's locker room has been a huge one, I'm really happy with how the gym is progressing. Now, I just wish the sauna was open. And I hope we will see that the AC is actually working this summer.

Great equipment and staff! This is such a great addition to the community. It's not like your regular bro science gyms. There is so much diversity!! You have young, old, athletic, your average person just wanting to keep moving etc.. It's really a true gem. Always clean and well kept and everyone is so friendly and supportive of one another!

The machines were fine but they have no water drinking fountain and no cups for the water dispenser. The desk person refused to give me a plastic cup from a stack behind the counter.

I have ever belonged to. All the staff are knowledgeable and professional. My trainer is excellent. A varied age group of members:18 to 80. I am now 81. A friendly place to get a workout and socialize if you choose. Highly recommend.

Awesome gym with incredibly friendly and personable staff. I love the large range of kettlebells, and multiple free weight racks. It's a bit smaller than my usual gym, so it can get crowded quickly. Overall, it's one of my favorite gyms I've been to.

This gym is awesome, has pretty much everything you could need and more. I'm a local PT and I recommend people here all the time - especially athletes who need access to turf and high quality/variety of equipment. I've been able to rehab my own knee here after an ACL repair pretty successfully given all the equipment options. My one piece of feedback is that they should get another Nautilus knee extension machine, or that they replace the plate loaded one. The non-plate loaded knee extension machine is so rarely available (and the 5lb plate adjustment is broken, so you need to use PlateMates) which is really limiting for people who need a lighter weight. It also can get really stuffy and humid at times but that's the case with most gyms unfortunately...

I say you can judge a gym by how many squat racks they have and in that regard, this place excels. The have two racks in the main room and a whole wall of them in the back room. Also, idk what they did with the air circulation because I felt cool in there the whole time. Idk if it's the color scheme, the type of plates and equipment they have or just the general vibe, but I always get super energized when I'm in there.

BUYER BEWARE: Body Strong Fitness DOES NOT refund you. The gym is going to close and they still WON'T refund us. On top of that I called and the man couldn't have been more rude on the phone. I have already filed a bank dispute, so we will get our money back that way. The 5 star reviews are likely bought. Also I see a few other reviewers mention the hidden costs. This is 100% true. Don't let them scam you! Beware of this "maintenance fee" they charge. Terrible experience!

You have choices at this gym you can either just select a class and pay for the single class by a package for a class without being a member of the gym.
I bodystrong you can pay for one day a week or month they have a three-month package that is reasonable. The added cost is that there is a maintenance fee of $35.

It's a really good gym, with really good equipment. Yeah, the 'extra' fee twice a year is a bummer, and nobody knows why they don't just increase the monthly a little, but call around and you'll find that the monthly rates are very favorable for the area. Way better than Willy's and FitRev.

Decent sized place. *Most* of the machines were working during the 6 weekends I went. The pros, nice equipment, plenty of parking. The cons lousy locker room/bathroom, and the kid at the desk didnt even look up from his iphone when I walked in. Maybe thats a good thing caus I didnt even pay the last 5 times. Just walked in like I belonged!

While the staff is friendly and courteous and the gym is fairly clean, beware of hidden fees! I initially purchased the 1 month college student membership for $40. Then, towards the end of my 1 month, I was asked to pay an additional $35 bi-annual "maintenance fee". Apparently this $35 fee is charged to all customers on June 1, a ridiculous proposition that targets students like myself who are only here for the summer and may only pay for 1 or 2 months, thereby practically doubling the cost of the membership from $40 to $75. This pricing model is absurd, and not communicated clearly when initially signing up for a membership.
