Pilates Back Bay is a fully equipped, boutique studio located in the heart of Boston's Back Bay. We offer private and small group lessons taught by experienced, classically and contemporarily trained instructors. Our clients are given a customized program based on their individual needs and goals.​

Very nice, clean studio in a convenient part of Boston. Equipment is in good shape and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
But the workout is serious. I started working with Heather at another studio and think she is great. She is very encouraging and supportive. She knows her Pilates!

Kristen is truly the best! Her class is the perfect combination of challenge and encouragement! Working with her makes me look forward to every Pilates class because it so much fun! PBB is hands down the best Pilates studio in Boston. The owner, Kachina, is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet and has built such a beautiful and welcoming space. All of the instructors are fantastic — incredibly kind, experienced, and eager to share their love of classical Pilates with students of all levels. I’ve been training with Leigh for years now and our sessions are always the highlight of my week. She’s the best of the best of the best!!

I took my first ever Pilates class here about 6 months ago and I haven’t stopped since. The teachers are amazing - particularly as a beginner, they made the learning process really encouraging. I’ve felt more and more confident with each class and most importantly, so much stronger. I suffer from chronic back issues and these classes (generally 2x/week) have improved my overall health so much. I am so grateful to this studio and each of its teachers!

I was so happy to see a pilates studio in Back Bay situated right off of the T. It's so convenient! Pilates Back Bay has a welcoming and bright atmosphere. I enjoyed the one on one attention of my teacher, Kristen. (The owner, Kachina, is a thoughtful teacher too!) We do a whole body workout in our hours together including working on mobility, strength and balance. She listens to my questions and we modify my practice to suit my unique health needs. This studio is a place that welcomes all bodies and I feel heard and seen in this space. Pilates is a practice and I love learning about how to become stronger in this shame free and friendly environment.  I highly recommend Pilates Back Bay.

My experience at Pilates Back Bay can only be described as miraculous. I had knee replacement surgery in May. After months of physical therapy and still disappointed in my recovery, it was suggested that I should try pilates. After 3 private lessons learning breathing and balance, I have achieved amazing results. The personal care received was specific to my needs and abilities. New to Pilates, my instructor explained everything clearly and encouraged me along the way. The environment at Pilates Back Bay is comforting and I highly recommend their services.
