I actually stayed at a private cottage nearby but drove through Pinewoods. We could hear their live folk music nightly and it seemed their guests enjoyed themselves

Heaven on earth. Me and my family have attended this camp for years. The site is beautiful and the food os amazing. The crew constantly check the comment boxes to provide trimely support. There is no place i would rather be. The cabins are great and provide ample power and the activity areas are well maintained.

Pinewoods is a beautiful, rustic music and dance camp, primarily for historical and traditional forms. For this it is a magical Utopia, like no other.

The ultimate mecca for the folk dance community, and a truly magical place. If you've been, you know what I mean, and if you haven't been, you really ought to listen to your friends urging you to go. Expect a welcoming and tight-knit community, stellar food, gorgeous scenery, etc. The activities and camper demographics vary significantly by session — Family Week is most popular for children and Swing Into Summer is most popular for young adults.
